PS: Sorry for my English

Hello!

I think that sascha means that you press the 0 key start to begin the recovery procedure.
You must press this button after you have switched on the laptop.

I m not sure if it s is available but try it and you will then see whether or not the recovery starts.

Good bye

    Hello

    I have an I have a Toshiba-L305D-S5892
    With Vista Home Prem 32

I have a few problems and am currently blocked.

Each problem below, is a problem that I met after taking a few steps.

    * The 1st problem *.

A few hours ago my screen was frozen just after I tried to install this codec from microsoft, so the only option I had was to do a hard reset.
When my computer back on, I received this message:

Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

This error may be cause of disconnect a device removable storage such as an usb external drive while the appliance is in use or by defective as a hard disk hardware or the CD-ROM drive which is a failure. Make sure that all removable storage is properly connected, and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the manufacturer of the equipment.

    File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

    Status: 0xc00000e9

Info: An unexpected I / 0 error has occurred.

I didn't have any usb device or removable in media.

    * 2nd problem *.

I opened my laptop and released the CD / DVD + RW, he started upward and now I get this message:

PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable.

PXE - M0F: Exit PXE ROM.

No boot device - insert boot disk and press any key

    * 3rd problem *.

I downloaded the NEOSMART repair Cd.

Once I'm in the System Recovery Options, it tells me to select an operating system. However it has not traded. If I press drivers to load, then a message tells me to insert the media, and then select drivers. I almost 'ok', and then am taken to explore, when there are a few system files and files (all empty)?

    I'm confused... any help?

    Hello

For me, it looks like a problem with the system eventually installed the HDD failures.
    Why?

Due to the issue described in point 2.
PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable error is displayed because the phone didn t find the installed operating system and try to boot from LAN.
This happens especially if the HARD drive was not recognized by the BIOS.

    My recommendation;
Access the BIOS and check if the HARD drive is listed there.
If this isn't the case, then you will need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the operating system.

If the HARD drive is listed in the BIOS, then take a recovery disk and try to reinstall the OS again.
If you have no recovery disc, then you can order it here.

  • What is the problem with my Satellite L305D-S5892 screen?

I never had problems with it before, the screen, as shown in the video would often be shown whats then screen resumes very well no problem. now it doesn't do that.

I connected my laptop to my HD TV and it displays fine, but this isn't on the laptop screen.
I was looking for a new phone if it is too expensive to repair/replace screen but the option is there to replace me a fraction to pay for a new screen.

Anyone had this problem before? and do you think its something worse?
What would you recommend to fix the screen or not?
I know the option it for just buy a new one, but no info on what is wrong (I know foires screens) and your recommendations, I don't have a warranty in addition for it any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance the video link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMauAZRgJQU

    > I plugged my laptop to my HD TV and it displays fine, but this isn't on the laptop screen.
Since the screen on the monitor external is OK, I think that the problem could be linked to a malfunctioning GPU (graphics chip).

It might b something wrong with the internal display, fl inverter, cable screen, etc.
As you can see, there are different reasons for this, and it is difficult to tell which part can cause this problem.

But if it s poster so a fix would be a costly business because mobile screens are gone dear laptop. However, if it s only a small part as FL inverter or some cables then it is a fix.

In any case, I recommend you first update the graphics driver and checking if the BIOS is updated.
If both were done, and no improvement is seen, then ASP should check parts.

  • Problems of Bluetooth - Satellite L305D-S5892

I can't have my phone to sync with my new cell phone (nokia 7510).

It is not the phone, because I can sync with my husbands phone.

I tried to install the drivers from the toshiba web site (when I do that, he wants me to "connect bluetooth device and press ok" - well, I don't know what that means! so I plug the usb bluetooth key I have for other software and it does not work.)

I tried my bluetooth with usb accessory (model IOGEAR #GBU221) bluetooth software that works with the previous cell phones (including my husband cell) and my laptop. I contacted the customer software support and they don't know what the problem is! I still can't do them (my new phone and laptop), to recognize each other.

Bluetooth is integrated to your laptop?
If so, you should see a silver sticker of Bluetooth when you return on our laptop.
Make sure that the antenna switch is on if you have a built-in Bluetooth when you want to use.
Use your USB Bluetooth key if you don't have Bluetooth inside.
In this case, you must use the bluetooth software that came with our Bluetooth adatper.
I assume you are using the Nokia PC software now in oder to synchronize your data.

You can also exchange data manually with the fi, the Toshiba Bluetooth software is active

    Hi all

my 6 year old Satellite A200-1YO has been replaced by a newer model and I thought to wipe my A200 or reset to the factory settings...

I don't have any drive and that I can remember I never had none.

I went all reset by pressing F8 at startup, go into the Advanced Boot Options and
    clicking on repair computer,.

I went into the system, selected Recovery Options a provision on keyboard, and then on the login screen,

    I then connected with my password and got a screen showing the following 6 options;

    1. Startup Repair
2 system restore (similar to the option in the control panel)
    3 Windows complete PC Restore
    4. Windows Memory Diagnostic tool

  • Recovery problem Satellite L505-110 Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba L505-110, Windows 7 64 bit Turkish and he began to slow down recently, so I want to recover windows 7, but in some Turkish forums, guys who have tried recover like that, facing a problem.

The problem is that Windows 7 has been set up on the computer as a 32-bit.
I had not given a dvd of the operating system of W? ndows 7 64-bit and he said that we could easily do our own recovery DVDs using toshiba recovery media creator.

I made 2 recovery DVDs, but now I'm afraid that I have Windows 7 32 bit if I recover Windows.
I bought this computer because it had windows 64-bit and I paid the price if I want to continue with it again...
It has been a year since I bought my PC.

What should I do to recover my operating system such as Windows 7 64-bit again?

Thank you very much for your answers.

    Hello

The operating system was preinstalled is WIN7 64-BIT HOME PREMIUM & you also got the 32-BIT DVD
Therefore, if you create the recovery disc, then the disc should contains Win 7 64 bit.

I think you should just grab the laptop using the recovery disk created and I think that the 64 bit, Win 7 must be installed.

  • C850-1CR - recovery problem satellite

I have a laptop that was purchased in June 2013. After the disk check gave errors, make my computer unable to really start up, I decided to do a factory restore. Who got 52 percent, and then got stuck and stopped twice.

I ordered the recovery disk Toshiba, went through the installation, but he kept asking to insert the disc after disc 2 and there are only two.

So I canceled, decided to try again, and now it can't find suitable for Windows support?
It is not even really more the disc 1.

What should I do with this?
It should still be under warranty?

Sorry, I have to say that but main mistake is that you don't l l create a recovery on your own media.
OK, you now have a Toshiba recovery media. To be honest, I can't explain what's wrong here and why recovery installation completes successfully.

You can try it again. Enter the BIOS and set it to the default value. Start your computer with the recovery disc and check how it works. If the same thing will happen again maybe you should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. Explain the situation and hopefully, they will be able to help.

By the way: what is now with HARD drive? If I understand you good as disk HARD is maybe defective.
Do you get the second HARD drive to test?

  • How to recover the Satellite L305D without recovery disk?

    Hey guys

I bought my Toshiba Satellite L305D half a month ago and now my computer works do not.

Is knowledge how laptop computer recovery without a disk?

I am new to this problem
So please if you know how to do
Note please the specific details to show me how to

    Thank you!

    Hello!

First of all, you should check the user manual. There you can find all the details on how to recover a Toshiba laptop.

In any case, if your laptop came without recovery disk you can create one using the Toshiba recovery disc creator. That's why you need one or two DVDs and then you have factory on a DVD.
If you created the recovery disk, you can boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. Windows will be reinstalled, and you get back to factory settings.

But you can also recovery a Toshiba laptop without recovery disk. So go to the F8 advanced boot menu and choose fix my computer. Now, you can choose the Toshiba Recovery option and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, you can search a bit in the forum. You will find a sufficient number of threads on the recovery procedure.
In addition, you must check this document:

  • Cam on Satellite L305D-S5893 problem

My friend has a portable Satellite L305D-S5893 that he had bought Friday.

The camera in his laptop computer is called a webcam Chicony USB 2.0. It is built directly into it and the food it receives and it is horrible. We have tried everything we can think of to fix it. We have even looked at some forums and there the latest updates of SP for Vista. We turned on the night mode which helps but makes kind of lag for him.

If any of you have ANY idea on how to solve this problem, we would really appreciate.

After reading your ad, I can't recognize any problem there. I have Satellite P200 and Satellite A300, both with the webcam and the image quality is the same. Integrated cam's and I believe that she can never offer so many good quality as external webcams.

You have to compare with the quality of the image of the other models of Toshiba?
    You see no difference?

When I use the webcam for Skype I use it with a lot of light in the room and then is OK quality.

  • Satellite L305D corrupt BIOS

    Hello guys,.

I have problems with the satellite L305D (PSLC8U) friend. I've upgraded to windows 7. In support of product, I read that in order to use windows 7 I have to upgrade the bios of the laptop to the latest version (1.80).

I tried to upgrade from Windows because it is how the upgrade utility works (once I have downloaded and run the utility started the upgrade automatically). At halfway through the computer upgrade became unresponsive and display deleted. I let it rest for a while and that nothing happened after half an hour I have pulled the plug and the battery.

Now, when I turn the laptop on the screen is empty (even the screens backlight does not illuminate) the CD rom has a certain activity and nothing happens.

I searched in many places and the method of recovery below and I try to follow this but nothing happens:

"Using another computer if necessary do the following:

    (1) download the file for your model laptop BIOS "*.exe" since the Support section. Mine was: slm0v150.exe
    (2) extract the files from the file "*.exe".
    (3) locate the file that ends with ".fd", it's your actual BIOS file.
    * (for different brand BIOS, the file may have a different extension such as ROM or .bin)
    (4) rename your BIOS file to: "BIOS.fd" without the quotes.
    (5) format a USB Flash drive (FAT or FAT32) file system.
    (6) copy your 'BIOS.fd' newly named file in the root directory of the Flash drive. (Not inside all folders)

On the damaged computer, follow these steps:

    (7) remove the battery, adapter sector and hard drive.
    (8) plug the Flash drive with your "BIOS.fd" file on the subject into a USB port.
    (9) while holding down the button Fn and F on your keyboard:
    (a) connect the adapter to your computer.
    (b) hold the Power button until the computer turns on.
    (c) release the power button and the two keys once you hear the fan turn.
    (10) see your flashing, Flash Drive LED wait that your computer turns off and remove the Flash drive.
    (11) replace the battery and hard drive.
    (12) you're computer should be all set! »

In my case, the laptop does not access the USB key (the led on the USB key does not blink).

I also tried to use the same flies on a CD, and the only thing that happens, is that it reads the CD and then nothing.

I even tried to use the flashing the BIOS utility on American support to Toshiba site where the utility allows me to create a CD bootable and Flash the bios from the CD. The same result.

The laptop uses the insyde BIOS.

Please help me because I'm desperate

    Hi hapipaz,

If something went wrong during the BIOS update you need professional help a special service authorized because the recovery tools are necessary for ROM module. If only a mobile technician can do this work for you.
On the Toshiba Web site, there is a list of all FSA in your country. Contact the nearest one and ask for help :)

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5940 with Windows Vista Home Premium. The following message comes when I try to start it.

Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. For fox the problem:

Unfortunately, I do not have the windows installation disc. What am I supposed to do? I can't access "safe mode" by pressing F8. I'd be grateful if someone helped me feed my computer please.

Now, it's quite complicated especially if you cannot boot your laptop in safe mode.

  • Satellite L305D-S5934 - after installation of XP that nothing works

Recently I got an error with my Satellite L305D-S5934, it was Vista. It would be not only wouldn't boot so I had to install Windows XP, but now, nothing works.

Is there something I can do to get the graphic video back to normal and the wifi and all that was at the factory on the laptop?

    Hi drftking23,

    > but now nothing works.
    Wow, very detailed! : D

In any case, I think the problem is that you need drivers for your hardware to WLAN, LAN and all other devices don't work.
Anything you need you can download on Toshiba U.S. page where you can find your laptop model:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com

But let me give you a little advice: simply use the Toshiba recovery disc where all the drivers and tools are preinstalled. This disc contains a ready image of factory with all the drivers and tools, it s pretested and configured by Toshiba.
Maybe it s an option ;)

  • Satellite L305D-S593 - disk read error

My Toshiba Satellite L305D-S593 suddenly stopped. At first I thought he had a little more heated or something, but when I tried to turn back on it gave me a message saying disk-read error press ctrl alt del to restart. I did several times in the same direction. While I tried to reinstall windows, I got lucky if she showed to the installation screen once it did, I followed the instructions for installation clean (I had to do it once before, but for different reasons).

Once he brought me to the menu had to select a partition to install on I said to do it on the main HDD after some loading and that time, he said that it was impossible to complete the formatting required. So I Redid the process and I noticed the music said it had 288 GB of available memory, but before that, I had only about 40. To remedy this, I clicked on the format button and it says that it cannot complete the action because the disk is about to fail.

PS My processor is 64-bit AMD Turion dual core mobile, with 4 GB of RAM

    Hey,.

In my opinion, it has something to do with the HARD drive itself, I guess that it s a bad sector so Windows Setup can format t HARD drive properly. I mean before you tried to reinstall Windows, the system could not start due to a disc read error. This means that the files on the HARD disk are confused because of bad sectors

You can install Windows Toshiba Recovery disk?

If it doesn t work too, I'll try to replace the HARD drive. Usually, it is not complicated and can be done in 5 minutes.
In addition, you can check the HARD disk for errors with diagnostic tools special as Drive Fitness Test. Google a bit for such tools, they are freeware, so it s no problem to find. ;)

    Hey,.

I put t think that it s a related problem of Toshiba, especially if everything else works correctly and only the plane of IKEA Kitchen not.

You must contact the IKEA online technical support so it s a known issue. Perhaps there is a newer version or update is necessary. Don t get me wrong, but in this case you need assistance to IKEA because they know everything about their own products.
