I still have my computer Toshiba support, so I would like to know what memory is compatible with my toshiba model.

can I use the SODIMM Corsair Vengeance 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL9?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi all

When I plug in my headset on my laptop (Satellite L850-147) and try to listen to music, I hear music (instrumental parts)... by far, I can hear the voice of the singer.

I found a turnaround with the adjustment of balance in realtek HD audio manager 100% or 100% left...
But this isn't the way that music have to play...

I have reinstalled the Realtek HD Audio Manager but without success...
    Any idea?

    Thank you

    Hello

And have you checked the settings in the software you use to play the sounds?
Of course the Realtek HD audio Manager supports the sound configurations and you can change different sound effects such as environment and Equalizer but the same or similar options are supported by each software reading and I also recommend to check this!

By the way: Toshiba laptops are pre-installed with a HD Audio SRS Premium application. To access this, go to:
Start-> all programs-> SRS Lams-> SRS Premium Sound Technology
Here, you will also get some options that could be interesting for you.

    Also recommend checking Audio improve
Make a right click on the icon of speakers in the taskbar then on playback-> speakers devices->, click Properties
On the development tab, select the sound effect you want and click on apply.

  • Satellite L850-147 - updated the BIOS but what?

    Hello

has obtained a PSKDLE L850-147. TEMPRO soft want me to install a new bios.
Sweet gas station tells me there is nothing to update. (In the past, I've already updated my bios with Service Station)

    Who should I believe?

In General, you can trust these two tools pre-installed.
    > In the past, I've already updated my bios with Service Station
This means that you already have the latest version of the BIOS? Have you checked the BIOS Toshiba download page if a newer version is available - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_bios.jsp

In any case, if the system works you do not need to change anything.

    Hello

In most cases, BT does not work due to lack of BT software.
I guess you will need to install the filter for the BT driver package.

In most cases the 8 Win / filter package 8.1 Bluetooth driver should work under Win 10... Then try to install the Atheros Bluetooth driver filter package and check to see if you will be able to activate BT

  • Satellite L850 - 1 P 9 - issue processor upgrade

    Hello world!

    I am the owner of a satellite L850-1 p 9 and I would like to change the real processor (i5 3230 m) with a 3612qm of 3540 m or i7 i7 and I wonder if compatibility problems can be...

Thanks a lot for your help.

A new processor might work properly only if the chipset and BIOS offers essential support.

So even if the new processor would be compatible with the chipset which is available on the motherboard, BIOS can cause problems. But that's just a guess

Of course, there is a good chance to get a new CPU if most hardware specifications (outlet, etc.) are similar to the previous CPU.

But to be honest, an upgrade of the CPU would not provide a significant performance gain. Of course you would get a faster processor, but the difference in performance isn't important.

In my opinion, you should use the current CPU but should move the HARD drive to SSD drive.
These updates the SSD is much better and you will not encounter the risk of damaging the laptop.

  • HP 21-2014: HP 21-2014 in a computer, Ram memory upgrade question

Hello, I have a HP 21 2014 all in one computer. He now has 4 GB Ram memory and an AMD processor. I was wondering how it would be possible to increase the Ram up to 8 GB. Is there a certain number of model or brand of Ram do I need to buy? I looked a few things on Frys Electronics, but obviously I'm naïve. I really want to upgrade memory because I have some games which really lag on this computer, even if it is new, and I know it takes more may work properly. I wanted to see if someone can point me in the right direction. Price is not really a problem, I just want to know what would be a better job for this specfic HP model. Thank you!

    Hello

Yes, you can upgrade to 16 GB:

A site specific Web says it is expandable to 16 GB.  The vehicle currently has 4 GB of RAM and all I want to do is double that - go up to 8 GB.

I wouldn't take this laptop out to see that it is not extensible.

Can someone give me a heads-up on this update for this laptop?

    Thank you very much!!

    Hello

Through 2, 3 page in this manual:
    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c04427554.PDF

There are two slots for RAM, you can put two 8 GB of RAM of the same exact brand & plug as shown in the manual. Then max up to 16 GB is possible.

    Data sheet:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04454103

Go through page 104, 105 in the manual steps of replacement are not easy, and I would say you contact center of HP service in your region for assistance if you are under warranty as it will void the warranty for major disassembly can cause unexpected problems, if you're not used to it.

  • Satellite A30 RAM memory upgrade

    Hello.
I have a question about my Toshiba Satellite A30 memory.
I want to spend my memory (256 DDR 333 Mhz PC2700 SoDiMM installed chip). If I add to the original 256 MB 512 MB chip the two will work together and is a SoDIMM DDR 512 with a frequency of 400 Mhz compatible with the portable computer and 256 MB chip?
    Thank you

    Hello

    > If I add a 512 MB chip will initially 256 MB, the two work together?

Yes, the two modules will work together. In this case, you will have 768 MB main memory.

    > is a SoDIMM DDR 512 with a frequency of 400 Mhz compatible with portable computer chip and 256 MB

It depends on the front side bus (FSB). AFAIK the A30 supports a FSB of 533 Mhz. So the 512MM module should work at full speed to 400 Mhz.

But note; If the memory 256MM module supports only 333 Mhz, then the fastest 512 MB module will run also with 333 Mhz. The 256 MB module will make the module second, faster more slow.

    Best regards

  • Satellite A200 PSAE3A is slow - possible memory upgrade?

    Hello
I am a real novice with this stuff so please bear with me and my stupid questions.

    I have a Satellite A200 PSAE3A - 07M 007. I got no upgrade at all.
It has only 1 GB of RAM. It's so slow its driving me crazy.

Cannot afford the new PC. Can I spend it?
What I have to buy. I'm a little afraid to go to someone right now because they could tell me anything and I would believe it!

    Thank you

    Nice

    Hi mate

According to the info I found [here | http://www.computerdirect.co.nz/products/NOTTOS429.pdf] the memory of the Satellite A200 PSAE3A - 07 M 007 can scale up to 2 GB of RAM.
This means that you can buy another 1 GB RAM module (1 GB RAM PC2-5300 memory module) in order to improve this device.

The upgrade is not very difficult.

  • Re: Satellite L650/07C-boot-loop after memory upgrade

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L650 / 07C - PSK1JA-07C017.
To get a little more life out of it, I've updated yesterday with a SSD and 8 GB memory.

The SSDS works perfectly and I have installed OS and all the drivers and software.
However, the memory causes a boot loops. I returned to the standard 2 x 2 GB memory at the moment.

With the new memory installed, the computer startup-loops. When you try to start Windows, the computer will appear at the stage of loading Windows (the boot animation) and then restarts.
I tried to start with the recovery discs, and it arrives at the stage of loading of Windows Setup, and then restarts.
She will continue trying to start, then by restarting (then repeat), until I turn it off.

    The memory I installed is Corsair CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9 (2 x 4 GB):
    http://www.Corsair.com/cmso8gx3m2a1333c9.html

For me, it looks like the same specifications that the modules of memory Kingston 4 GB listed on the Toshiba site as being compatible with my laptop:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/products/Accessories/memory/KTT-S3B/4G/accessories

I found the specs of memory recommended here:
    http://www.LASystems.be/PDF/Kingston/246787/KTT-S3B4G.PDF

If I go into the BIOS, I see that the memory is detected as 8192KB. The Toshiba site says that this laptop is expandable to 8 GB.

    Is there something I'm missing?
Is there another step I need to perform when upgrading their memory?
I don't know why it won't boot with the new memory modules in that I put.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I assume you have the Australian model is not easy to find info on the hardware upgrade. What I can say is that model European uses DDR3 1066 MHz memory modules and 4 GB of RAM compatible a part PA3677U-1M4G number.

It must be exact model described by microcens.
I recommend you use the tested and compatible memory modules.

I have a HP ENVY 15 - k008ne Notebook PC (J8E89EA), after checking my info memory I found this:

    Your manual

SODIMM two slots in the brackets support DDR3L - 1600 MHz Dual Channel up to 16 GB of RAM in the following configurations:

So yes, you can install a 2nd module of 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I suggest stick with 5300 because it's the plug that came with the notebook and won't have any problems working. But if you are really specific to get a little faster you can go for the 6400.
