Re: Series Equium would not start up

Well, newish... around the age of 3 months.
Everything was fine. I got a new office for hadn´t on the satellite for a few weeks. She had been left connected to power, which lights up and goes out every day.
Today, I tried to go on and nothing. only the light on the front shows sector. If I take care then nothing shows. I press on and absolutely nothing happens at all.

HI :)

The problem is that whenever you let your only it, machine become scared, then he won´t start up... just kidding ;)

No, it is usual, because the RTC battery must be charged (RTC = RealTimeClock).

I guess that if you leave your machine stay some time without having to work with it, then remove the battery and the power adapter for about 1 hour before you start. Normally this should work, and your machine should come to life...

Welcome them

  • My Live View would not start or start...

Had this problem until I saw all of a sudden screen cleared and I could not start no matter how hard I pressed the buttons. In order to reset I took it to the store I bought. The display took the piece and after almost 2 days he returned saying that COMTEL would not cover up for accessories. I called the service center and asked how when offers a limited warranty, they are supported. This gentleman had no answer, but that he would accept neither of my room. Instead he suggested me to get a replacement from the store, I bought. As we were talking about the issue, the display has tried to load my mode live view and the red light on to my great surprise, which indicates that it worked. Then he started to initiate and work. When I got home, I got to know the mode Live View has had an update, I did. 2 months after there was no question too... But still today, after a full charge, it would not start again. I tried to plug into my laptop to update the software, but my laptop indicates that the USB malfunction, indicating that the Live View mode is a.

I don't know what to do... I love my Live View... Its great use while driving, on a session and in places outside, where the silent noise your cell phone ringing...

But, I think that the problem starts, if we have to charge the unit. Which could be considered if you are developing a software update for the same.

Sorry to be too eloborate... Thank you for your time.

First of all - welcome to the forum!

Where are you from and how old is your LiveView? All the accessories are getting 12 months warranty on most of the markets (6 months in some markets).

It might be that the service contracted by your dealer Center isn't HVC (high volume Center). They should, however, help and if so send the LiveView to a service center that allows to fix it.

You can try to contact local support Office and ask for a service center that can fix your LiveView.

  • Bootmgr missing. Equium does not start

    Hi all

Trying to sort through my laptop last night clear the old data and other, wasn't paying enough attention when I was looking at the amount of space available on I have had drives and managed to make a partition active disk.

Therefore, no program to start, I did not have vista installion disk or recovery disk.

I tried to load a partition manager to try to make the work of primary transmission again, but it did not work!

Please help, I have a lot of info, I don't want to lose there and I seriously stuck on what else to do.

    Thank you.

    Hello

The boot manager has been damaged therefore Vista cannot start.
I think you should download and create an ERD Vista as mentioned here
    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-system/creating-system-recovery-disk-for-Windows-Vista/4ed7e54e-997f-4977-9a79-0b7a7fdee149

Here, you should be able to download the 32-bit or 64-bit
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/141820-create-recovery-disc.html

Then fix the Vista installed by using the repair console.
I think you have a good chance to repair the fault Boot Manager.

But in case this would not be in a position, you will need to reinstall the operating system once more.
If you don t have a Toshiba Recovery disk, then you can order it here:

  • Envy 15-j059nr: Envy 15-j059nr would not start Windows after update to win10 now the hard drive is missing

This system worked before Windows 8.1 it has been upgraded to Windows 10 last year. It's my boyfriends computer and last night it kept getting blue screen dreaded with errors on his hard drive. He kept ignoring. Then, his computer's battery died and when he started upward, he could get a blue screen and act as if it would repair itself and would just start all over again. He was going in a loop. He did not know what he was doing, but searched on the Internet and ended up messing around any more.

Its installation was 850 GB HD 3 partitions, it was set up as a Raid was one the main C drive, one was the restore disc and the other hides. He changed the disk. He changed a few things in bios too, but I don't know exactly what.

The problelm I have right now, is that when that I boot without the USB bootable media, I created, I'm stuck at a screen that says there is no startup disk and no installed operating system and press F2 to run Diagnostics. When I run the diagnostics, just fine, no errors.

When I try to recover, repair, reimage or anything other that to reinstall, it goes back to the screen I mentioned above which does not allow me to do anything about this either, with the exception of past at the command prompt, which is X and not C. I did a dir/w and only seen the windows files are here , but under the users directory, documents and images are empty, so don't know if it's even watch what I think it is.

When I want to install Windows 10, everything goes smooth and then bam, he wants that pilots. I can't find the drivers for this laptop who don't have the .exe and require installation. This notebook is not a CD/DVD player on it. I don't mind doing a reformat and start all over, if I could recover his pictures on his hard drive. They are his grandfather.

    Help, please!

    Thank you in advance!

    AggieFan378

    You are the very welcome.

Unfortunately, I woudn't be able to help you with that.

I'm afraid that the PC is now a useless paperweight because of the BIOS update has failed.  There is usually no recourse other than to replace the motherboard.

If all goes well, you were able to recover the files before that happened, and if not, get a SATA cable adapter USB and read the hard drive on another PC.

    Greetings,

If you insert the first disc in your DVD-rom and you start your computer, the screen HP press ESC until you get a menu. Select the start menu and select CD/DVD-ROM, then enter. When it tells you to press a key to boot from the CD, press a key any. This will load the recovery software. Select immediate assistance and a recovery of the system. This will install your computer as the day where you bought everything first.

WARNING * you will lose all files and programs that you have installed and placed on your computer that you bought the device.

Yes, this will allow you to use the F11 key again once the recovery complete. Typical HP for the device warranty is one year. We can find this information for you. If you look at your serial number label, it should give you a serial number and the identification code of the product. With this information, you should be able to trace accurate information by the auditor of warranty status if your product has a #ABA or something similar, don't forget that.

I have a satellite that were replaced VGA & mainboard, but it does not start. There power correctly and power & switch are turned on but there is no image on the LCD or external. HDD led flashes but nothing more.

I tried a different CPU and RAM modules.

In other threads with similar problems seems to be a problem with the screws but I tried to remove all the, winding or change.

Im stuck with this and have need of any kind of help.

    Thank you

    Try this:
Remove the battery and the AC adapter, wait up to an hour, plug in the battery and the AC adapter and try again to restart the laptop.

In my opinion, a problem with the motherboard. The new mother is maybe defective.
You have replaced parts by yourself?

  • ZTE A2107A-F would not start - how to reset the PMU?

Picked up this little pill about a week previously. was surprised to come back and see that stop you it, not just sleep. Does not start. Tried to load all night; still no go. Called Lenovo; They said to unplug the device and press the power + volume-to top for 30 seconds, then try to connect again to. Still no go. So I packed it in its box to return to the store.

Then I thought what the heck; There are only three buttons; could try as well to the other. So I held the power and volume-* down * for 30 seconds. Now he is in charge. Don't know if I just need to be more patient after trying to reset the time Manager the first power or if power reset key combination really use volume down instead of volume upward on this device.

In any case, I also found little information about this handler to be able to put it back online (it is not yet in the HMM) I thought I'd post here my experience even though it is far from confirmed. Does anyone here have more information?

I had the same thing happen the first day I got it. There is a setting button not labeled in the removable section at the back - it's just below the camera. I pressed it with a toothpick and it still works (and so does my heart!)

  • Satellite series battery would not charge

    Hi all
My laptop has an unusual problem. It does not load, I changed the charger also but still i m having the same problem.
I don't know what the problem is... so please if anyone has any idea what can be the problem and the solution that made me know.
    I used the charger three-pin and now I bought a charger 2-pin.

    Does make a difference?

    Hello

What equium do you have? Would be interesting for us, because there are many Equiums there.

Regarding your problem: you said that the laptop does not load. The loader you want to say it's this external thing which must be connected between your laptop and the wall? It is a power adapter. :) Just for better euphemism.
You mean your won´t power adapter to charge your battery from your laptop. But are you really sure? I mean, it is possible that something in your computer is faulty. It could be something on the motherboard (which is this very important thing IN your machine) or your battery is defective.

It might be preferable to bring your machine to a technician who is familiar with these machines or contact a local servicepartner allowed to bring your machine to a hardwarecheckup.

But before contacting someone who will do something with your machine, you can try following:

Remove the battery and reinsert, then try with two adapters ("shippers"). If it works then check if this happens several times, otherwise bring your machine to an ASP. By following this link, you can find the nearest servicepartner available in your country:

  • Windows XP would not start on the Satellite A105-4324

    Hello everyone.
    I have a Satellite A105-4324
Yesterday my laptop locked up all of a sudden. When I went to turn it back on it just kept restarting. It would allow me to start it in safe mode. I got a blue screen with a message that says "stop: C0000221 {bad image checksum}.
The gdi32.dll image is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated. »
I have read online and discovered that I needed to replace the file GDi32.dll in Windows XP. Because I only have the recovery disk, I tried to restore the system without changing the HD partitions. After the recovery of the 2nd run drive, I got the message saying that it was the creation of the file of the CRC. And then I got an error message saying there was an error in recovery and turn off the computer. Now when I turn on the computer, the Windows XP screen comes on briefly and then the screen goes black. It does nothing else.
I try to understand what I am doing wrong. If necessary I will bring the computer back to out of the box, but I need the files off the laptop first before doing this. I can't lose the files. Is it possible to fix this or is it possible to move the files on my desktop, even if now, the laptop computer does not have Windows XP? Is it possible to simply borrow from someone of another real Windows XP disk and load like that without losing files?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

Are you sure that need file GDi32.dll in Windows XP?

I searched a bit and found this document from Microsoft:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326687

According to this MS document this problem may occur if there is a corrupted file in the folder in which Windows is installed and this file is not replaced during installation or one or more of the RAM modules that are installed in your laptop is faulty, or the RAM configuration is incompatible.

So I recommend simply formatting (!) the disk HARD whole, erase all the available partitions and try to reinstall the operating system!
You said you tried to install the operating system but without formatting the HARD drive. I think that the whole HARD drive must be formatted!

The restore CD contains all the necessary files and drivers.
But as you know the disk HARD formatting will erase all the files stored on the HARD drive. Sorry, but I don t see is possible to save the data.
Hmm, maybe you can save the data by removing the HARD drive and connect via external USB HDD controller to another computer.

If installation will not work, I guess that memory module is damaged.
In this case, you should check the simple modules and if necessary you need to replace!

Do you think that the guarantee is valid? If Yes, you must contact the ASP in your country because all replacements to be free!

    Good luck
