Re-synchronization to palm profile trouble.

Long story short, this is my third, the first two are dead.  When I received my first all replacement phone in place in the first pre wonderfully updated.  This phone is in trouble too and I got my second replacement phone, but this time, I put the phone up while remaining in the Sprint Store.  However, I forgot my palm sign in password (didn't it with me either) and the Palm and Sprint representatives and I decided to use the forgotten password and reset my password.  Phone become active, but none of the contacts, tasks, notes or schedules that have been made to my palm profile referred to this third phone.  I was told it could take some time and leave the phone on the night.  Come morning palm profile information was not yet present on this third phone.  I called Sprint, after an hour and a half on the phone (not now) to talk to helpful people (they started the effort), they do not have a solution to the problem.  I think that changing the password is the cause of this problem.

Upward was active on the first two phones and is active on this phone as well.  I have spent to preferences and made the Sync option. The only thing that I got this phone to my Palm profile was two apps that I downloaded when I got on the phone.

I think that changing the password is the cause of this problem.

Anyone has any ideas to fix this?

There is a bug affecting some accounts when you replace your phone and some unusual conditions are present - your backup cannot connect to your phone properly.     You can't actually delete your profile. You can remove it from the appliance and the new sign in it. But you cannot delete actually it detached from the backup.

  • Palm profile does not store the browser bookmarks or pages of Launcher

    With the help of Technical Support Sprint tonight, I reset my phone completely to try to resolve a problem with the browser from Sprint.

    I have restored my Palm profile and near as I can tell most of the phones has been restored.

    My browser bookmarks have not been restored, and neither any card Launcher, I did a browser bookmark.

  • Palm profile linked to the wrong telephone number.

    Mobile on my Palm profile number is related to the temporary number Sprint me issued before transferred to my exsisting number of Verizon. It doesn't seem to be a way to change this date of signature in my Palm profile on the web, and make a backup of the pre itself also not update this information. How can I fix this?

    I had the same problem. I did reset my phone partail and my number is now correct on the Palm profile site.

    Not a bug, Palm profile cannot be deleted, this is normal.

  • Change of credit card of information stored in the Palm profile

    Anyone know if there are options to change or remove the information of credit card for the App Catalog after adding it to the Palm profile?  If so, where do you want to do this?  Online?  On the Meadow?  Thanks for any ideas you may have.

    You can change the info of the CC on the meadow.

    Open the App catalog.

    Tap the upper left corner of the screen to choose the application menu then tap 'prefs and Accts '.

    In the accounts, you will be able to change the credit card information.

  • Old Palm Vx, synchronization with Palm Desktop

    Hello everyone.

    I try an old Palm Vx synchronization with Palm Desktop. But the Hotsync does not work as expected. After press the SYNCHRONIZATION button in the cradle the process starts with databases "Restore", then with the synchronization.

    When the process is finished the Palm VX. displays a RESTART Message. After that I do this restart I can not use my Palm more. The Palm is displaying the 'settings', but I don't know why. I can not type of the any of buttons, for example the Home button and looks like the Graffiti-Pad is unresolved. I only can do, it's only a hard reset with lost all data. After that, I do a hotsync and the game begins with RESTART and displaying the "settings."

    Can someone help me with this problem? What I am doing wrong?

    The problem is solved. I installed ReDigi. This little program displays the calibration screen after each reboot hot so I could re - calibrate the digitizer and the Palm works for me once again.

  • Palm profile: impossible to connect

    as you know, the seller whom I'm related palm pixi plus forgot to activate my phone, so I can't even for the app free access app catalog.

    so I tried to join o2 Germany (as in my phone box for example) to help me.

    says nothing to help me, but they are kind enough to create a palm with my email profile.

    my new palm profile has been confirmed (on the web). so, I meta-doctor-ed the firmware for my pixi more (wr, 1.4.5) and bypass the first use app to access the internet with wi - fi (avoiding my local simcard before connect to palm profile).

    the problem is that this subject of post, pixi keep telling me "... eventhough unable to connect" my palm profile has been confirmed through https://ps.palmws.com/...

    What should I do next? can you please help me with this, or it's just an another "temporary down" in palm profile?

    Not profile servers work correctly. I checked your profile and it is valid. Your question is perhaps the result of the use of party changes 3rd in order to bypass activation. I wouldn't be able to help you with meta-doctor of this 3rd party software webos-internals. You can try PreCentral for help on this issue.

  • webOS Doctor now I can't sign in Palm profile

    So, after running webOS 1.4.5 doctor I can not connect to my profile Palm and retrieve my info.

    Says "Sign in failed" due to "low network coverage", but it has a 3 G connection.

    I know that I have good credentials. I tried to restart it. I have reflashed with webOS doctor several times. I tried AT & T calling and they were, let's say, less than useful. I sent the Support HP and no response.

    Good news! It sets obtained. Here's how:

    My prepaid plan included no data as I thought that this was the case. Previously, I had thought that she would simply charge to my account (since that's what says my plan), but I actually had to buy a package of separate data to make it work. Apparently the same thing was done when my phone was initially setup as the Pixi is not really designed to respond to the plans of PP.

    So, I went online AT & T and got a packet of data five dollars is all it takes: profile loaded and everything works fine.

    I woke up this morring and my phon said he is no longer connect to my profile.  I have reset it like a donkey all I get is

    Disconnected

    If you plan to use this phone once again, you can leave the files onb your USB intact.

    If you are finished with this phone, you can erase all your data on the phone and go back to its default value of the plant.

    Key 1: Just restart

    Button 2:Erase all data.

    I tried to restart break in time.  I even called sprint that was like always a waste of time, I have 1 phone and I need to use it today, all day.

    #2 Invoke sqlite: (I don't know if the db file may be different, but it will be in this directory)

    Make a note of the values that you change

    before I updated mine looked like:

    55. No valid token | 2. 3. screenName. string
    55. true | 39. 40. isInvalidToken | Boolean

    Basically IE screenName = 'no valid-token' and isInvalidToken = 'true '.

    "no valid-token" is this ugly page that we constantly receive during startup.

    I'm not positive if isInvalidToken must be set, but I got it anyway.

  • Synchronization for Palm OS with a Vista 64 bit computer

    Hello, hope I'm doing this right, this is my first post. I am trying to find a way to sync my pre w/64 bit Vista. It was said that 64-bit is not supported (because of the USB synchronization). There is a mention of a Bluetooth connection, so I guess I'm asking if someone has already tried to connect w/a Bluetooth device their computer? I know I'm old fashioned, but at the end of the work week I would just to have everything back in my home computer.     I now have my windows7 64 bit OS via the cable connection.  I can sync and use PDA Net with my Palm Centro from Verizon.  Happy Days!  I had to upgrade to professional home, but it was worth it!  Yes, we can just whining about Palm do not solve the problem for us, but if you would rather just solve the problem, Microsoft took care of it for us.

    I had a Palm T5 for 3 years now, I've had recently updated computer and since then I can not synchronize palm desktop use. The entire synchronization process starts, but then it does not appear on my palm handheld. Also, I've never used outlook to sync, but for some reason, as my Palm Desktop info is recently visible in my outlook as well. I prefer palm desktop as I have color coded my info into categories. All the news that has recently been also transferred to outlook is not categorised.

    How to stop synchronizing with outlook and only sync with palm desktop?

    How can I solve this problem, I have to upgrade to another palm?

    First try to switch the pipes to Palm Desktop. (Start/programs or all programs/Palm/conduit PIM Sync / Sync with Palm Desktop) or insert the CD and select the change synchronization method.

    What happens when you synchronize? You say that nothing shows up on the device, do you mean that it shows no progress? The hotsync application open?

  • How do I synchronize my Palm TX with my Blackberrry Tour 9630

    I recently acquired a Blackberry Tour. I was unable to sync my Palm TX to my laptop because I am running Vista 64 bit and the thing whole bluetooth does not work for me.  Can't I just sync my TX to my Blackberry via bluetooth to get my information? If so, how?  Synchronization of use to be so simple. My TX is out of warranty, but since I have a new Vista Dell Studio 15, I think Palm should offer me a free support just to get the synchronization process work.  14.99 $ is unfair to someone who has paid hundreds of $ for a PDA which has always worked with OS XP (thanks for listening).

    The TX can easily synchronize with Vista 64 via Wifi.  I wrote a "How-to" file in the stickied message box in the section Windows Hotsync of this Forum!

    (It does not have a Wifi network where the computer and TX are both connected).

    There is no way directly sync both devices.  You can configure synchronization to Outlook (if you have it on the laptop) and sync as described above, then the tour may be able to sync with Outlook also...
