  I hope that im asking this question in line.

  I tried to connect my laptop to my tv without success I pass the cable in the left side of the laptop and plug the other end to the video output on the tv I have both put power off and power on, but nothing happens.

  I didn t find info on s/pdif user manual and I guess that this laptop doesn't support digital audio output. I think that you can connect to the laptop to stereo by using the headphone jack.

  Recently, I connected a network cable for my laptop. This cable seems to be a Poe cable. Ethernet standard, but with a power supply to power a video conference phone.

  To be honest I put t have experience with these issues but if you want to test how the hardware install original recovery image and test the operation of the equipment with the settings.

  What device is connected to the LPT1 port? Usually if you connect a device to LPT port and you turn on you will be asked for drivers. AFAIK the LPT device drivers must be installed before connect you.

  Several years ago I also used LPT connection for my printer but one day it didn't work. The problem was only a defective cable. I replaced it with a new one, and then the connection to the printer has been recognized again correctly! :)

  My kit is a Toshiba Tecra M11 with Win 7 Enterprise, that I use with a port replicator Port Express and I just upgraded to a Lifebook Seimens, also with a cradle of home. It worked well with the Siemens and especially work with Toshiba, but for a small problem.

This has worked with Siemens, but whenever I have try with the Toshiba it puts the machine to sleep as soon as the cover closes and the DRC on the main PC session is suspended. The Toshiba is mounted on its cradle of home throughout this process. Computer laptop & cradle to host both the main pc are all connected by a wired connection to the same router netgear

  In the Windows power plan settings, you can choose the action to COVER closed. The default setting will stay and that is what you have described. So I recommend disabling this option for each Windows power profile.

• Tecra M11 - random crashes with Windows 7

  We had a Toshiba Tecra M11 Windows 7 who has a problem in which he randomly falls down, forcing the user to hard it reboot. When it crashes, the fans to the top spin, don't know if that means anything. We tried many things to fix.

  Tried to upgrade a Tecra M11 - 11J for Windows 7 64-bit.
  The installation gets all the "Loading Windows files" screen, then turns off and freezes, with the release of maxing out CPU fan but no HARD disk activity.

  Have tried to reinstall XP (works fine), flashing the BIOS to the latest version, re-seats of the RAM, change the HARD drive in "Compatibility" mode and reinstall Win 7 - same problem.

  Have you tried Win 7 32 bit - the same problem.
  Installation of USB, instead of DVD - same problem.
  Different flavors of Win 7 - same problem!

  It's extremely frustrating.
  I upgraded the memory up to 8 GB, hoping to take advantage of this with W7x64 and now I'm stuck with a XP machine and 4 GB of of of the RAM to lose.

  Would be very grateful for any suggestion.
