  Portable Hi, im having a problem with my dvd player, it worked fine, then I stop my computer one night, woke up the next day, tried to open my dvd drive but it used open... so I checked my computer and it has not been detected there, so I took the next step and active Device Manager... it has not been shown here either ive deleted filters upper and lower, but nothing works, I still have to check the bios because im not sure 100% what to look for or even how to check the bios, Ive only had my laptop a year and keep it in good condition...   Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
