Thank you!

This button is part of the default publish a Captivate module in PDF format.  You can't get rid of it, because the output PDF wrinkles too the setting in preferences > project > start and end > Autoplay.

Two invites on 1 page in Indesign that when exporting to adobe reader in pdf format, I can simply add new names that populate both copies and then be printable. Any help out there is how to make an invitation in Indesign, but now how to make 2 copies on a single page that someone else ie the customer can add their own names. So each field name must complete on both guest. Sounds simple, but is not really there to help. I think he called an interactive pdf. Thanks in advance.

AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.

  • Can I create a 'share' in interactive PDF format button?

    Hello

I would like to create a 'share' in an interactive PDF button. I want to set so that when the reader clicks on the 'share' button, it opens a window in their e-mail client, with the PDF file as an attachment. Is this possible? I don't want to use all the social media channels to share the PDF file, only through their customer e-mail as an attachment.

    Thank you

    Ross

Yes, in the event the mouse to the top of the button, select an action to "Submit a form" and specify a URL of type mailto as:

    mailto:[email protected]

Don't forget to use lower case for "mailto" and do not include any spaces. Select the entire PDF file to include, as opposed to FDF/XFDF/HTML.

  • Stimulant of the button with javascript under a button in pdf format

    Hi all

Is it possible to stimulate using acrobat javascript or javascript livecycle @under a key press button?

For ex. I click on a button and who work as Atl + F (File menu) or win + R (run box) under windows.

    Hope this is clear.

LiveCycle Designer uses the same JavaScript engine that Acrobat and Reader when the LiveCycle form is in PDF format. So, as stated in the form Acrobat JavaScript, the JavaScript engine and capabilities. As explained in the Acrobat JavaScript forum, JavaScript used in Acrobat or Reader is the willingness to 'sand' or very isolated from the JavaScript of your computer program. This was done to protect users of form Acrobat or Reader to run malicious code.

It might be possible if you were writing a plugin add-on using a computer program have complied and the information provided in the Acrobat SDK kit. You must manually install this program on your system. For others to use the code, you will need to register as a developer with Adobe and have each user to install the code on their system at their own risk.

  • PRS 505 using Adobe Reader PDF Format

I have a problem using a PDF of my library books.

When I download the books in the library PDF format, they are availble for viewing on the PC but when I move them to the PRS 505 reader and try to open, it dislpays only available out of a page and the book page does not open on the player. Everything is fine if the books are in epub format.

I can navigate to the drive using Explorer and open the book on the PC and the size of the file is displayed correctly, but it will not work on the drive.

    Any ideas?

    Hello
because it works very well in epub format, but not PDF, the drive works normally. The PRS500 and the PRS505 cannot read protected PDF files. even if the PDF file has been downloaded freely the problem are the DRM information embedded in the file with the copyright information.

  • Impossible to read files in PDF format

    Original title: PDF files

I can't read the files to PDF using Windows XP. Y at - it a update that I can download.

Option 1 <> Adobe Reader. This is the official tool for reading PDF files. Please note all the options carefully when the download and installation. You could get things installed that you neither need nor want.

Option 2 <> Foxit or another player. There is another, not Adobe, part. Some prefer it to its lighter demand on system resources.

  • "Camera in PDF format" several images at once using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC mobile app iPad verson?

    Hello

It is possible to create a page of several PDF from images uses the 'Camera to PDF' function in the iPad version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? I tried and failed, but wasn't sure if I missed something? If it is not possible there's no known workaround workaround for this?

    Thank you

    Hi Sean,.

I'm afraid, but we have not any direct option to create multi page PDF file using 'Camera in PDF format. As I have solution that we can do is create PDF files using camera option which will create PDF files and record them on your Document Cloud storage.

Then, you can use the Web of the DC interface by going to cloud.acrobat.com and use handset feature multi page PDF of the PDF files created using the camera feature.

I would like to know if it is useful.

    Thank you

  • Interactive buttons in PDF format are at the origin of printing problem

I'm working on a magazine PDF in InDesign CS5. I recently added interactive "arrows" for readers to navigate to the previous/next pages. The buttons work fine, but some of our subscribers are unable to print the PDF file (they get blank pages). A test, I re-recorded exact same InDesign document to PDF without buttons, and one of my subscribers was then able to print the document as usual. My PDF files always include hyperlinks, indeed, who have never been a problem.

Because only some people experience printing problems, I thought it's maybe because they are with older versions of Adobe Reader; However, a person experiencing it uses Reader Version 9. The problem could be related to older printers? Something else? I decided to remove the buttons, but I'm still curious about why this is happening.

Set the buttons to display but not print.

  • PDF format can be read by Adobe reader 7.1

Hi all, using TCS2 on Windows 7, 64 bit. I am on FM c. 9.0p255

When I create a PDF file of my docs/books of FM, is there a setting I need to adjust to ensure that PDF files that are viewable in Adobe 7.1?  It is by X application that does not use a recent version of Adobe to read PDF files and works on very locked down PCs.  My question applies to both save under and print (in PDF format) since I sometimes do both, so I would like to know more history before I get started...

    Thank you

All versions of Distiller that I know have a compatibility

define which determines how backward compatible is the generated PDF file.

The exact location of the control varies a bit from version to

    version, but it's there.

Just make sure you set 7 and you are good to your applicant.

And if they can read the file, they can print from what version

    they use.

What I don't know is whether, in selecting an antique for version

compatibility, you lose all current version features / functions.

  • When I select the share on a WORD doc link in Dropbox, Firefox SENDS it in PDF format. Why?

I have the documents in Dropbox I share with others. Most of the time it works. However, when trying to share a single file for a particular email the original WORD document appears on my screen (until I pressed SEND) in PDF format. When the person receives the invitation of Dropbox and press the link in his Inbox, WORD file appears also in PDF format. There should be no PDF anywhere in this transaction.

Dropbox has a feature of practice to preview the DOC files to PDF in Firefox built-in PDF Viewer. It is convenient, but can lead to this problem that you eventually download the document in PDF format instead of a DOC file.

As long as the recipient is using the download button on Dropbox toolbar above the Viewer (see screenshot attached comparison), the beneficiary must obtain the original instead of the preview format.

    What is the question?

  • Looking for a way to add instructions in PDF format

Our company has a number of legal agreements that we put in PDF format.

Ideally what we want is to be able to do is:

    (a) being able to fill out a PDF file online with the legal agreement details (dates, names of companies, etc.)

    (b) have non-printing on the PDF instructions that help people fill out the forms. When individuals to print the PDF, the instructions would disappear and the document would itself reformat so that the space occupied by the instructions would be used by the printed text of the document.

Reformatting is the kicker.    I can easily add buttons that have the value "unprintable" and insert instructions in those, but when the document is printed, there isn't that an empty space where the instructions are... I need instruction space collapse, so that the content of the document is displayed in the same space.

Any ideas on how to do this?   Is there an Adobe Acrobat product that can help you with this?   (InDesign, FrameMaker, etc.)

Thanks for any ideas you may have.

PS I know javascript, then, if there is a solution of coding out there, I'm open to that as well.

A dynamic XFA form created with LiveCycle Designer can be implemented to behave this way. For more information, you can ask in the LiveCycle Designer forum: LiveCycle Designer

A problem will be the part online. None of the browsers have built-in support for dynamic PDF XFA forms, so that the user will have to download the PDF and open it directly in a desktop (Win/Mac) Adobe Reader/Acrobat version.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.
