Read/write to a database in a network

I have a program that reads and writes data in a database that it works OK as long as the database is located in the local PC where the program runs. I wrote the program, so I can implement by editing the ini file. In the ini file I specify the path to the database also what UDL to use.

I checked the vi, it opens the connection ok, but when it goes through the loop and goes and executes the SQL, it comes out with error

-he and 2147217900 vi stops working. I have change the ini, return to the original configuration file and works perfectly. I forgot to mention that a copy of the database Access in the local PC, and another is in a network drive that the pc has access to. I did a UDL I checked the work of connecting it back test OK. I use database connectivity screws I have fun 10 LabView.

Well, it took a bit, but fortunately, I was able to understand, actually Microsoft did. I have create a new ULD by using the Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB provider. It allows me to select the location of the database. I have always used the same VI I had used without making any changes to it. I use the VI of database connectivity. I can read and write to the database.

Check your source data and your connection adapter db adpater deployments factory.
Check if you have configured all steps of http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10231/life_cycle.htm#BABBEDBF.
Also, in your file .jca in your jdeveloper have named the location of connection-factory as "ist/DB/draw ' if so change it to one that you have created in the db adapter deployments.

• How to open a physical standby database "Manual" in read/write mode

Hello

I am running Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Standard Edition Production on Linux version 2.6.9 - 42.0.8.ELsmp ([email protected]) (version gcc 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6 - 3))

I created a physical standby database, but since I am running Standard Edition, I don't use the features in DataGuard. I use the utility rsync to copy on the data pending archivelogs, and I periodically applied to the standby database.

The standby database is started in this way:

startup nomount pfile='/u01/oradata/orcl/initorcl.stdby';
ALTER database base_de_donnees eve of Mount;

Everything works perfectly, I can "open database in read-only alter" and then I can make selects in the tables to confirm that everything is up-to-date.

The thing is, if I stop the database and then perform the boot simply:

stop immediately;
start-up;

The database opens with an error message, but it is always in read-only mode...

I read that the default behavior for a database ensure must open read-only, as I am experiencing, but I would like to know what is the right way to open it in read-write mode correctly (I understand that after this, my watch will not standby more and I need to recreate my database pending).

Thank you

Carpet

Try: -.

ALTER database activate standby database;

This should open read-write (you will not be able to recover thereafter)

• Enter a share with read rights and have read/write rights

I have a folder with my photos on my Mac. In this folder, I have all my photos in subfolders and will add new pictures once I created the share. I want to make them accessible to my family there own PC/Mac. But only with READ ONLY. My problem is that a user (account to share on my Mac) with reading rights can access my shared with read/write rights.

I have my Mac with 10.11.2 the following users/groups:

• (Jens) My Admin account
• (Erika) Account sharing
• (Family) A group

Group of members of the family are:

• Jens
• Erika

My folder permissions to "/ Volumes/ExtHD/Bilder" are:

• Family: read
• Jens: Read/write
• everyone: read

I enabled file sharing in the system settings and the 'Pictures' folder added to the share list.

Now I go to another Mac with Yosemite, go to network in the Finder, select the computer with the share, connect to the "Erika" and open the folder "pictures". I can generate records or files, delete files, so I have read/write rights. Why?

Finder don't show me no option 'Erika' should have rights to write to this folder. Why is she able to delete files?

• FPGA read/write does not not in cRIO-9073

Hello.

I'm stuck with a problem in the use of the FPGA Read/Write control please suggest a solution.

I use cRIO 9073 and I'm trying to place an order ON / OFF of GUI-> RT-> FPGA host. I use a shared variable of the network to transmit the control GUI form to host RT and I use read/write control to FPGA. I also put a Boolean flag in the FPGA VI to control if the control is transferred to the FPGA.

When I toggle the button in the GUI, I see the same change in the host of RT (shown as 16 probe in attachment 1). However the FPGA indicator (indicated as probe 19) remains the default false state. The FPGA VI is on attachment 2.

Thank you

Guilhem

Your FPGA only reads the control once before entering the loop. If you want to read control permanently, you must put it inside the loop.

• Can we read/write in native application of contact?

Is it possible to read/write the native application of contact using the android runtime? The api says it succeeds, and if I dump the db slider in a newspaper, it shows the recording, but the native application of contact does not show recording.

If I make a new record using the native application of contact and then launch the android application and empty the db again, it does not show the contact, I added, which makes me think that they are separated.

Is it possible to read/write in the native application of contact? The Simulator says it of an Alpha, is this something that will work on a real device of BB 10?

Hello

Currently, we do not support the read/write in the Native contacts database. For android, you can add the phone number and e-mail to existiing contacts, but not create new ones.

It is something we are looking to support in versions of features.

Thank you

It is - method that you use to check for errors in data I/O file? AND how to solve high physical reads and writes?

Here, my concern is what should be the value of ideal threashold for a DBA to act on the high physical reads/writes?
and how he can fix this problem if it affects database performance?

I don't think that there is any possibility to mention that the amount of an e/s is going to be good or bad for a database in general. The reason is that it is not quantifiable. For example, in a store, maybe one day that no one gets and another day, there is no place to stand (because there was a sale announced by the store). So now, how do you say that it was not necessary? Rather than search for best practice values, it is best that you keep track of the normal functioning of your db and when you see a special summit in the values of events scattered user IO as DB file read, DB file parallel read etc and when this happens, you should check back the work you are doing and see if that can be refined somehow.

• Open physical standby mode read/write to test without return of flame

I have successfully installed a physical database standby 10 gr 2 (10.2.0.3 EA). Now I have to test my application with the database pending, so I have to
Open (enable) in read/write mode (don't want to use FLASHBACK DATABASE), I know that I have to recreate the database pending scracth after completing the test.

So far, I did these steps:

1. on the PRIMARY database, I disabled the log destination archive:
ALTER system set log_archive_dest_state_2 = 'reporter ';
2. on the day before, I cancel managed recovery
ALTER database recover managed standby database cancel;

Can anyone provide the remaining steps to open the write standby database? I searched the oracle documentation and all the steps require the flashbak database.

Thanks in advance.

S.H.

Ok

You could do a failover on the eve (without doing anything at the elementary level)

So to run these on your watch.

SQL > alter database recover managed standby database cancel;
Database altered.
SQL > alter database recover managed standby database finish;
Database altered.
SQL > alter database validation at the transition to the primary with the stop of the session;
Database altered.
SQL > alter database open;
Database altered.

Then simply stop the day before (not primary) and rebuild as the standby again. Delete and re-create.

Make sure that your Data Guard alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2 = delay; Are fixed on both sides.

This can help:

You want to split the day before with really nothing do in elementary school except reporter.

• Read/write rules: generics & Tags FM identifiers

I've seen this question answered in one of the guides dev but I can't find him.

My question is if it's legal in read/write rules to designate different generic identifiers on the same FM/element tag.

For example:

"body' element is fm"paragraph. "

element 'preface' is fm "paragraph."

Thank you!

[transferred to the structured forum FM]

Each structured document fm does need an earlier XML document?

N ° it depends on the application. In my case, I create the user using FrameMaker structured manuals. Our editorial team created a DSP that does what we want and need to do. We do not export or save FrameMaker files structured in XML. However, we could if necessary, for example, to create versions in HTML for display in a browser. This application works for our needs.

I have only one application in which I start with XML. When I create a spare parts catalog, the information in the part are exported from a database in XML format. The structure of this XML file is determined by the database; It does not match the structure design in my EDD. But I use an XSL transformation to convert the XML elements in a structure that is valid with respect to my EDD. Again, this depends on your application.

Some people export their FrameMaker files structured to XML. Maybe they want to do something else with the content that requires it to be in XML format. Or they can use XML for storage, because the XML files are smaller than the FrameMaker files. Then, when they open the XML files in FrameMaker, they are imported into its own model, which cleans the substitutions and no junk which may have accumulated in the FrameMaker files.

If your goal is to convert the unstructured files structured FrameMaker files, then I suggest focusing on the development of ESD that works for your needs. Export to XML may come later if you need it.

• Create the table and take the name of user who can read/write on this table

Dear gurus,

I need to add the following column in Oracle 11g DB AND also add the name of user who can read/write ONLY the following table, any table to access the same read?

I use to go to Oracle PL/SQL client.

My dbname is 'customerdb '.

TableName: "extractOrders."

+: example of the field data.
Column0 = logID: 1

Let's say your table than extractorders is the schema of database clientsproperty.

As this pattern create a stored procedure that runs with the privileges of the customerschema. Having this procedure return a ref cursor For example

create or replace procedure ReadExtractOrders( c in out sys_refcursor ) authid definer is
begin
open c for select * from extractorders;
end;

As this code executes with the privileges of the customer schema it can read the table belonged to this scheme.

Now give execute rights on this process for the Joe database schema - and this pattern can create a cursor on the table of ExtractOrders , without being able to access or use directly or refer to this table. Read access to this table is therefore protected by a reliable code belonged schema customers.

Learn about the AUTHID clause and how it can be used to differentiate the code approved and non-approved, which allows to PL/SQL code to run with different privileges than the demand for prescriptions.
