  Hi please can anyone help when after editing my photos and their impression that they resemble nothing near as good as they have on my laptop display. The sharpness is nothing near as good and colors do not quite seem to reason, the entire picture seems much darker why this might be. I know that my printer is capable of better as it has done before with only the basic JPEG photos.

  The image (it back up to an external drive as full image) and reinstall Windows XP, update, drivers and everything.  Install any plugins that you NEED to do all that you see here that the bat hurt.  If the problem no longer exists, something has gone wrong with your system from before (corrupt files or your cleaning is not as complete as you think) and if the problem persists - probably something to do with the material. In all cases, you can return to the image if you wish.

  To the extent wherever it is the registry, I must ask, * how * you have come to this conclusion?  Not that I'm defending something - I was wondering what you did to decide who is not your registry database?  (Side: I agree with you.)

  That's what * I * would call cleaning and optimization of a Windows XP machine:

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)   PROBLEM SOLVED!

  It turned out that my VGA cable was wrong and that it was not send the right signal to the computer. The screen worked fine with a VGA monitor, but the PC has not said that the new monitor is a PnP I tried a different cable and it worked fine.
