• I have a strange text box appear on my screen

  I use Adobe Illustrator CS5, and it keeps setting up this strange text, almost like a translation box box

  I have never seen it before, but as someone who navigates illustrator almost exclusively with keyboard shortcuts, it makes the program almost unusable. I have to keep restarting the program, and he usually reappears within a few minutes of use. I don't know if I am accidentally by pressing a keyboard shortcut for it, but I can't get it on my work computer.

  Thanks for your answers for later use, if someone else has this problem, it was my EMI set up to change the language with the hotkey "alt + shift", which I only really use in Illustrator, so I have now deleted the dictionaries that I don't use, and keyboard shortcuts.

• Problem isolation really strange cluster...

  We still use coherence 3.6.0 and is faced with a really strange problem with two test groups:
  
  Group 1 uses wka a.b.c.d:9000 and cluster name "cluster1.
  Group 2 uses wka e.f.g.h:9000 and cluster name "cluster2.
  
  I can using JMX and logs to see the two groups started successfully with node 1 (the only wka) using port 9000.
  
  A client program connects first successfully for Group 1 (using the wka cluster 1 and cluster name as shown above). Once the program complete the client program is executed this time against cluster 2 (with the help of cluster 2 wka and the name of the cluster as shown above) but this time, the connection is denied and to our complete surprise, the error message indicates the Cluster 1 wka node a.b.c.d:9000 has refused the connection and that the cluster name must be "Group 1"! We have checked and re-checked that the right combination of wka and cluster name (Group 2) is specified on the command line, the second time...
  
  Short of a DNS configuration problem (we are actually using the name server rather than physical IPs in the command line overrides) which would resolve two wka node names in the same physical IP address, I can't see any solution (not involving only not woodo, extraterrestrial intervention or the Bermuda triangle) to this behavior. I actually tried ping both host names and could see they've resolved in fact of different IP to eliminate this problem, unlikely but possible,...
  
  I understand that when specifying a unique wka for two clusters is not necessary to implement unique multicast addresses / ports (because multicasting is not used in this case) - can anyone confirm not that it is true or if it could have something to do with our problem?
  
  Any suggestions or ideas (in addition to the hiring of a shaman to exorcise our servers :-)) are highly appreciated...

  Hi Magnus,

  Yes, there is a bug in 3.6.0 where in a WKA cluster, the cluster would continue to ping recently left members, and this would cause your problem if these members restarted and tried to join a different cluster.

  Subsequently, this has been fixed as you saw. It is of course highly recommended that you upgrade to a newer version of 3.6, but it is not possible to change the port of clients when you restart will avoid this problem.

• Why have I not these inconsistencies of strange text spacing, and how to fix?

  It seems that the block of text on the left is not a rectangular frame. See the inset spacing, it does not allow to choose the top, the bottom and so on. This is perhaps the reason for your problem.

• A really weird text formatting problem

  I tried to fix a weird text problem in a new InDesign document.

  Behavior: When I hit enter at the end of a line, it gives me a jump page instead of a newline behavior. All the following text is presented on the next page.

  Installation: I have created a group of text boxes (simple script, wall of text, no images), lie on several pages and active the text stream. Then I placed the text via the import command. All other letters lowercase may still be entry in but if I press one of these letters, capital letters or numeric values in the input box you don't know enough. To make sure that it is not a code problem, I create a 'new' file and create a new textbox entry, just to try and in this file of 'other', it works perfectly fine.

  Is there something I can do at all? Or is it a problem of program?

  No idea why this might happen? There is a text strange spread open as if the text block would be justified mode, but it is not.

  As you can see all the highlighted text is due to the adjustment in the GRID, but the word NOTE is wide open.

  See the definition of paragraph NOTE style. Probably, it is set to a leading value greater than the value of base grille. If the attack is greater, it will jump up to the next multiple of the value of base grille. Therefore, change this paragraph style to match the same amount of tip as the value of base grille.

• Point of Insertion strange text problem

  I'm having a strange problem with DreamWeaver CS3, where the text insertion point is to the left of the where it should be. This makes editing the text a real problem. I am running a MacBook Pro with all the updates and when using the model of 'Entertainment' built into the product. What I find is that the text on the left side of the line is correctly in line with the insertion point, but as I move to the right the problem presents itself and gets worse and worse. It's also a harder just to learn to go to the left side of the text, as often, I'll be a character in both directions.
  
  For example, the cursor must be on the right end of the line (after AV), but the cursor is approx. 1.5 letters to the left of the where it should be:

• Really strange problem with Yoga tab 3 10.1 "

  OK, up until that today ' today all was well with my new Yoga 3 tab 10.1 ". Today, he has developed a strange problem.

  AIN module: I connected a source meter in AIN. I give the source alternately to channels 0-4. but the labview program reads the registry PLC only if I read once by using modscan. The sequence for detection of AIN in Labview is (!), concern 1V AIN0, run modscan, labview. apply 2v to AIN0, run modscan, launch labview. The current value and the previous value now appears in the labview alternately. the duration of this fluctuation is 5. (reading that I will be AINvalue to 1V, value AIN to 2V, junk, junk, junk and this cycle repeats. strangely, its iterations always 5)

  Same situation with DIN. If I want the value in Labview, I read in modscan once. Its like he labview follows modscan.

  It's weird. I am not able to understand why thi happening. VI that I used for the reading of the PLC is attached.

• Strange text framework accidents InDesign

  I'm working on this book and I have a problem with the file crashing when exporting what either.

  I discovered that the problem is a specific text block in the editing of a page table. He won't let me do anything to it without crashing, which is obviously a huge deal.

  Things I've tried:

  • Delete: hangs.

  • Move: hangs.

  • Delete the page it is on: hangs.

  • Document change fonts: hangs.

  • Text of the link for it: hangs.

  • Change content options: gray/cannot change.

  Things of note:

  • It seems somewhat related to Times New Roman Regular, since when I try to change it to something else, it crashes.

  • Most of the text of this document was imported from word documents and later re-formatted.

  • I discovered the box after each page and manually change the type.

  Is there a work around for this? Or is it the ever? I could not find another instance of it elsewhere.

  Try to create a new document and use the Pages to move to move everything except the page assigned to the new document. Try to simply copy the content of the page the last page, and then paste it into your new document

  Thanks Peter.  I tried to remove the empy on the editing table, but it removes the text. I'll look into the Dungeon options and let you know. Keep just checked options was the culprit. Thanks Peter
