Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) uninstall issues

Hello

I removed the material for the Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) and installed the hardware and the software for an Edimax 802.11n Wireless PCI card.

The new hardware and software operated well during the first week, but then suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and had full Wi - Fi for another day before it stopped working again.

I can't connect to the internet without having a functional version of the software, but it does not seem to function.

I think that the problem might be that the former driver Realtek is interfering with the operation of the network card as when I disable and uninstall the old driver in Edimax software working again for about 3 minutes before disconnecting suddely. I don't get the error messages.

In addition, when I restart the computer driver realtec reappears!

It has been suggested to me that I should attempt to remove the drivers from the registry but not sure how to do that for the Realtek driver, could someone please educate me on this or give me a solution to this problem.

My operating system is Windows Vista, and my computer is a HP intel Quad Core.

Thank you

Hi, my name is Louis and I'm having a problem with my internet connection. I install a new OS and the laptop does not recognize any wireless network. The thing is I could not turn blue light internet on my laptop, btw, I have a HP dv6. I tried to download the driver on the Publisher's site and installed. Once everything is done, they say that the computer does not have the card installed and configured wireless network.

  • Update support for Realtek RTL8168/8111 Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) network turns off. System needs to restore to repair.

    My system features:
    OS: Win 7
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45T-UD3LR LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX
    Vid card: 9800GT BFG
CPU: Intel Pentium E6300 Wolfdale 2.8 GHz
    Memory: Mushkin 4GB DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Sound: on-Board (SoundBlaster Audigy 4 installed but disabled)

I went through the system updated with Windows 7 a bit recently, and when I installed the optional updates my network should be gone after reboot.  After several attempts to recover or even create a new Windows network is never no material at all for the network.  It can even detect my router or connect directly to the internet through my cable modem.  The only way for me new network access is back using System Restore.

I have narrowed the question until the 60 KB update option for published Realtex network devices 11/15/2008.  I could not solve much more deep, because all processes automated are more or less useless without the support of the internet, and I did not understand how to turn off the training wheels of Windows and allow me to tinker with advanced settings again.

Someone has encountered a similar problem and found a solution yet?  All of my updates seem to work except this one very well.  Any tips?

    Thank you.

On a side note: I love the automation with this new version, but I'm an advanced Windows user and I would like to be able to tinker with and debug some things on my own.  Y at - it 'Advanced mode' setting for things like the Panel anywhere?  I could not find one.

    Hello

I am pleased to have been of assistance. See the last two paragraphs here on how stop these old driver updates of
    loading, whilst on Windows updates.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    Hi yanah,.

I suggest to change the boot device in the BIOS on your hard drive.

You may need to check the manual of your computer for more information on this.

If this does not work, you can consult the Web site of the manufacturer for a firmware update.

  • Realtek RTL8139/810 x Family Fast Ethernet NIC #2

    Hello

I recently bought windows 7 ultimate and am ready to upgrade to windows xp day, but just need an answer to the question.

I have a Realtek RTL8139/810 x Family Fast Ethernet NIC #2 adapter and when I run windows 7 upgrade advisor it shows that it is compatible, I wonder what I have to install the drivers/software for this after installing Windows 7 or just install my internet as usual?

    Thank you

You shouldn't do anything. The driver should be installed automatically.

    Thank you

  • Reference Dell 17R n7110 - No. Gigabit ethernet

I have a problem with is Gigabit ethernet on the model # listed in the title. First I have:

    -Check the cable

    -Check the router

    -Installed the latest drivers

-Restarted everything in all possible combinations

    -Tested components with another computer

The strange thing with drivers, is that, on the site, the driver is listed as Gigabit capable but when I install it it is listed in the device as "Realtek PCIe FE." Manager FE is Fast Ethernet, which is not Gigabit. Why Dell loses this laptop as it have Gigabit support when it is not? If so, how can I enable the Gigabit ethernet on it. I tried to force the Gigabit driver but it does not always give Gigabit speeds and force the Gigabit mode with this driver causes the connection turn it completely off.

    Hello

I see the system originally delivered with a Fast Ethernet NETWORK card, so you would not be able to force to manage the full gigabit speeds.

RTL8111E Fast Ethernet controller combines a 802.3az IEEE 10/100Base-T compatible MAC Media Access Controller (), PCI Express bus and embedded controller One Time Programmable (OTP) memory. With state-of-the-art DSP technology and mixed-mode signal technology, offer transmission RTL8111E broadband via a cable CAT 5 UTP or CAT 3 UTP (10 Mbps only) cable. Functions such as Crossover detection & Auto-Correction, polarity correction, Adaptive equalization, cross-talk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing recovery, and error correction are implemented to provide robust transmission and reception capability at high speed.

If you go off the coast of the structure of naming of the driver itself, which is probably a problem of brand from the manufacturer.   They probably thought it sounded better.

I hope that helps to explain why you can't reach gigabit speeds.  If you have any other questions please answer and let me know.

If this message has always been to present its likely that the Ethernet card that is built into the computer is connected to the motherboard using a USB connection (this is common in laptops). If this is the case, there is nothing that can be done to remove the message that the deactivation of the Ethernet card, but this will prevent you from being able to use wired Internet/network connections.

I ask this because I recently bought a wireless Netgear WNR3500 router that supports gigabit ethernet. According to the HP website, my computer is doing as well. But now, I'm not sure, because for some reason any my network will only operate at 100 Mbps.

PCI 4 port cards work fine.

On the 2 ports on the motherboard, I have a problem with ESXi 4.1:

My 2 ports is auto-negotiation and on the vsphere client speed and duplex of the ports are always displayed correctly.

The switch network where the server is connected is a C-3560.

I use this server for Unified Communications, one I see the problem on downloading large files.

With a virtual machine connection of the unit, when I want to download a file of locale (language file - 650 MB to 1 GB)

The download progress is displayed in MB and it progresses very slowly as 1 MB every many seconds.

Whereas, when I use a map PCI 4 port gigabit port, I can see the progression to go at a speed of tens of MB in the same period.

The only way to have growth to proceed more quickly with the 2 on the main Board gigabit ports, is to set the speed of the 3560 switch

10 Mbps and half duplex. In this case, when we look at the client vsphere, the gigabit on the server port negotiates to 10 MB - half Dupl.

and the progress is constant and much faster that it is at this time to 1000 Gb/s Full Dupl.
