Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 b/g/n (code 10)

HI everyone, after HP support assistant had updated me the LAN driver (s), my 15-g029 wm hp laptop using Windows 8.1 gives me an error message that the device cannot start (code 10) in Device Manager. It worked without any problems before. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello:

Try this... right click on the RTL8188EE adapter in Device Manager.

Select uninstall.  Also check the driver to uninstall and reboot the PC.

See if the driver automatically install or reinstall the driver that I posted, if it is not.

    Hello:

HP consumer notebooks have very few cards dual band.

The RTL8188EE is a single band card.

You don't need to do research to understand them.

Any card wireless with a bgn suffix is a single band card.

No matter what with a suffix abgn or agn wireless card is a card dual band.

  • HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC: Realtek RTL8188EE adapter wifi connectivity issues

Help, please! I had bought this HP Pavilion computer with operating system Windows 8.1 and did the upgrade of Windows 10, when it came out. My wifi worked well until a few months ago. Now, I lose connectivity constantly. I searched the forums and tried everything I can find. I have the Realtek RTL8188EE 802. 11 b/g/n adapter Wi - Fi. All is well with our router, like all other electronic devices in the home are connected to the internet just fine. It is located in the same room and never had any problems connecting to the front. I drove back to 8.1 for Windows, made sure I had the latest drivers from the adapter, and then restored to older versions, tried to change minor settings on the adapter (i.e. make sure that power management area is not checked). I uninstalled the driver and removed the software, then restarted. Checked to make sure that the wireless encryption is WPA. Is there anything else I can try? I use this computer for my business and need to work. Nothing I've tried has fixed the problem.

    Hi @jborgwardt,

    Thanks for the reply.

Sparkles1 is absent today. I'll follow your post.

I just want to confirm if the current version of the wireless network adapter driver is 1.0.0.17 Rev.A sp68120.exe in your device manager.

Also, please run the test component in the UEFI Diagnostic Hardware for wireless module:

HP Notebook PC - detection of hardware failures (Windows, 10, 8)

Let me know if it satisfies the test of material.

If you mean that you cannot connect to the 5.0 GHz band, it's because the wireless RTL8188EE is a unique card band (2.4 GHz) only.

  • HP 15-n270sa: variant of the Realtek RTL8188EE for 15-n270sa

    Hello

    [edited by Moderator series]

    Product: F5C17EA #ABU

    Model: HP 15-n270sa

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Firstly the realtek RTL8188EE is a terrible WiFi card of absolutely. Which as your conscious has had so many questions and doesn't always have a real solution.

I'm looking to replace it with another, anyone know of any options that are compatible with the laptop above?

    or

There is connect a real driver that truly works with windows 7 and maintains a stable connection, does not take 15 minutes, actually connects and maintains the connection after restart or waking up?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

    Concerning

    Hello:

If you want to go with one of the cards in the manual, I would go for this one...

    Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11 bgn 1 x 1 Wi - Fi + adapter combo Bluetooth 4.0 (with a single antenna)

Check if your model has two antennas connected to the wireless card.

If so I would recommend one of these...

This is router Wireless N dual band...

    Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2 x 2 Wi - Fi + 4.0 BT Combo adapter

It would be for a router AC (or if you plan to upgrade to one):

    Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2 x 2 Wi - Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapt

You can probably find one or the other on Amazon.com

  • Do a factory reset on my AirPort Extreme 802.11n resets my country code?

Do a factory reset on my AirPort Extreme 802.11n resets my country code?

Wireless Diagnostics warns on codes of countries in conflict.

I ve got an AirPort Express 802.11n and an AirPort Extreme 802.11n

The country code of the Airport Express is ok, but Airport Extreme shows me different options.

    Any suggestions?

    Please

A factory default reset will set the area code of the AirPort Extreme back to the initial setting that it was when it was new, but this should not be necessary because you can change the country setting without having to perform a factory default reset.

You can see the options available for your AirPort Extreme by opening AirPort Utility, by clicking on the image of the AirPort Extreme, and then click Edit in the window that appears.

Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the window, and then click Wireless Options near the bottom of the window. Click on the country selection box to see the options available for your AirPort Extreme country.

Apple is doing to "regionalize" airport routers, so, for example, that if you bought the AirPort Extreme in the AirPort Express to the United States and Europe, the country on the extreme options will only show of European countries, so that the country on the version options American Express shows countries in the Western hemisphere.

  • HP Pavilion 15-p231ax: Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 b/g/n. How to activate ' only mode?

Hi, I just bought HP Pavilion 15-p231ax. I see that the wireless for this portable device is Realtek RTL8723BE 802. 11 b/g/n. How can I activate ' only mode for this network adapter. I don't see an option to activate ' only mode on wireles adapter set.

I just saw option 3B, 802.11, 802.11 g, 802. 11 b/g. I already update driver from this site and another site, but I still don't see the option. I try to use Windows 8.1, but I still have the problem. Can you help me, please?

    Hello

    Your machine only has 802.11b/g/n (1 x 1) and combo Bluetooth 4.0:

    http://support.HP.com/BG-en/document/c04774992

This means that the "n" isn't MIMO which maybe explain it that you don't see the option for this card cheap.

Please note: the next step can only cost you $10 more, but many providers still use the less expensive version.

    Kind regards.

The 802.11bgn adapter RTL8188EE is only a wireless card single band (2.4 GHz).

  • Slimline M9Z78AA #ABA: Realtek RTL8723BE and RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wireless Lan Driver Update on problem April 6 April

The update that HP did on my computer - brand new HP with Windows 10 broke my wireless adapter. Intermittently, it disables it. Also internet is slow sometimes before all the locks to the top (I use the latest browser Chrome - same problem is in internet explore and edge). A few minutes after it crashes, the wireless disconnects and reconnects not without go into the control panel and clicking on the wireless adaper - disable - enable - repeatly until it goes back.

    THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY!

With that, I called and a technical support 'fixed' it but it always does. Clearly, this is the update. The wireless worked perfectly BEFORE this update. HP PLEASE FIX THIS AND GIVE US A NEW UPDATE!

    Hello

If you're right about the update affecting Wi - Fi, and it has been fixed, and then reappeared, are you aware of what has been done to remedy this?

I think that perhaps a rollback (Restore Point prior) and temporarily disable the automatic updates and denying HP do updates either.

If you right-click on the card in the Device Manager and select Properties, you will be able to restore the pilot here.

You can try command line tools to eventually help in the command as administrator prompt, type these commands

    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

    ipconfig/release
    ipconfig / renew

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    nbtstat - RR

    netsh wlan show interfaces

    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/registerdns

    netsh winsock reset catalog

and then you may have disabled the problem.

  • HP 15 laptop g018dx: HP15 and Realtek RTL8188EE questions g018dx

The wireless connection on my laptop g018dx HP15 is unstable in any place except sitting next to my router.   If I am anywhere else, it's either slow, it is almost unusable or disconnects the connection completely.   I rebooted several times my router by pulling on the battery and the plug for a minute, but it does not help.   All other items wireless (Kindle, phone, other mobile phones) have no problem with the router.   It is so bad, I gave up and search the Web using my kindle.

I updated the BIOS, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver wifi (several times) using the drivers on HP.  Realtek is not displayed (or find a research) model RTL8188EE, if I can't get a updated driver there.

I tried various web browsers, internet, Foxfire, Chrome and IE, but nothing makes any difference.   Short open the machine and reinstall the network card, I do not know what I can do.  OS version is 8.1.   Not sure if the operating system can be part of the issue.

Given that the laptop is still under warranty and I don't want to open the case, someone at - it suggestions?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest version of the W8.1 driver for the card that came out this month and see if it helps at all.

These cards are known for bad connections they have.

  • Realtek PCIe GBE controller family issue. Code 31

I just did an upgrade to windows 8 last night, and well, things seem to work except that I see now that my realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is a warning symbol yellow when you view Device Manager. When I went to update the drivers it installed and then said that there was a problem updating the drivers and gave error code 31. Properties says drivers cannot be loaded and gives the same error code 31. Do not know what is this controller, but I can't seem to make it work properly. Any thoughts? Do not know why, after upgrading to windows 8 I would have this problem from the start. Also, Action Center identified a problem of communication with the modem and suggested I it reboot but I had no other problems with other devices in the House. any help is appreciated.

OK guys! Super easy solution, not as difficult as you think. I recommend to do two things at the same time as I did, but one of them (or both) has been the appropriate fix. I just do them at the same time.

1 start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning, (c) disc for me, the main drive I guess, I'm not a genius with computers by all means so that this should give you more hope. I just clicked on the temporary files, Recycle Bin, things that seemed undesirable memory unnecessarily, but I left just in case one system error logs to check the report
    2. I went to the control panel configuration, programs, and UNINSTALL THE LAST JAVA UPDATE, I remember that it was after this java update one night that I couldn't go online the next time (one or two nights after)

That's all! I rebooted and VOILA! No kidding, I have once again to the Internet!

FYE: Yes I tried the system restore, reconnected connection ethernet and power cord and a few other things I've read online. BUT IT WORKS! Apparently there was a corrupt file that I deleted during disk clean up or just uninstalled an bad Java update that turns off / disrupted the communication of my computer and its device drivers.

    Anyway, give it a try!
