  Hi guys,.

  I'm here fighting with FM11 very strange behavior.

  I have a (informal) book with several binary files of FM (structured).

  The first part of the book is the cover with a few pages of marquetry includes an auto generated by the TOC (excluding the references to the pages of beginning and end).

  This work must be completed and contains total, including the cover as the first item and the last book of 48 pages.

  Now the first component contains 3 pages and a double layout with the help of several auto set of master pages (I know there is a problem with the removal of the excess pages with no left-right MP).

  But it's not exactly my problem.

  The problem is when I try to update the book. There is a blank page being created in the first part of the book, which I got rid of in the first place.

  Which is not really a problem because I can manually delete this page (and it continues being deleted if I does not update anything).

  But the real issue is that the references are SUBSEQUENTLY updated, which means all page references in the book are a single page to come.

  This is unacceptable, because it spans all the references in the entire document, which are wrong because of this.

  Is it possible I can get FM does not create this excess blank page?

  I'm tight on the calendar and clean up the mess of my boss gave me this document, so quick responses are really appreciated.

  New day, new chance.

  I finally found a solution to this. If I manually assign each component to start at a specific page (on the left in this case), I'm can FM does not create this white page after the 3 initial cover pages.

  While this works good for this project, I still think it's a bug. Reset of the user without notice or dialogue configurations cannot be expected behavior.

• . EPS AI vs in the book-length project

  It is my understanding that a .eps is mandated in ID, making things run faster than the .ai files in a long document. Right now I'm working on the CD of 300 pages. Easch page will have a small 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 inch 4 c illos, and the rest will be b + w. I distributed content evenly into 5 sections (for my sanity).

  So my question is, should I put the files in the .eps or .ai format? My new computer is turbocharger, so I don't think not processing time will be a problem. However, I work in mode high quality seeing because the b + w art drawings of fine lines, that makes me crazy according to pixelated.

  The book itself will be 4 304 pages with about 380 4 photos and 98 4 illos. (Those who were the easiest). Then, .eps or .ai. They are all the AI now.

  So what you're saying, my gurus?

  PS none of this would be not possible remote in time, I have for the illos (about 6 weeks) without the Actions of the AI Panel!

  I don't save any file in .eps to be used for identification. I will use an existing legacy file, but would not deliberately create a new .eps

• Unable to 'Buy the book' photos

  I really struggle with this...

  I already bought several books of photos with iPhoto - no problem. Now, I've migrated to Photos, make a new book, he presents a preview correctly, but when I press 'Buy the book' I get the error "the store is not available. Returned to service soon"message. In addition, "Photos > Print product Store account...". "is grayed out.

  But the store IS available - I checked using Photos on another computer in the same city.

  More mysterious - it works also when I start my computer from my backup drive a month, i.e. problem occurs ONLY when I use the current startup disk.

  Just to confirm, I tried everything I could find on these discussions:

  • time zone in system preferences is set in the same city/country
  • signed on iCloud and yet once
  • purchased an app from the App Store and a movie FRO the iTunes store
  • applied new OSX 10.11.6 using the Combo Update
  • cleared caches using Cocktail, including caches of Photos

  A few details:

  • iMac mid-2010, OSX 10.11.6, Photos 1.5
  • I have several Photos - problem occurs on all libraries

• Set up the numbering of the pages for the book layout

  I'm carrying the text of a book in InDesign and I can't understand how to set up the numbering of the pages, so that they are in the outside upper corners for all pages EXCEPT for pages with Chapter heads, where I'd like the page at the bottom of the page number.  Also, I would like each page to have a header (the title of the book) with the exception of these pages with the chapter headings, which should not have any header at the top.  Is there a way to set these up so that they automatically fall in place without my duty go through each page individually and in changing all those with the titles of the chapters manually?  Thank you in advance for any advice!

  You use the master page for this.  Go to him (it will have created a called A default template), put a text box where you want than the number and go Type > insert special character > markers > current page number.  Style it how you want.

  And then on your chapter pages heading either to replace the master and delete the page number, or more elegantly to create another master page for them and which apply to the relevant pages.

  I am trying to create a directory with InDesign CS6, that contains the name of the person, addresses, cities, etc.

  I have a question which is to show the number of entry per city,

  for example, there are 30 names under a city (in front of spreads and pages),

  How to automatically display the number of registration County about InDesign?

  And how InDesign find what kinds of use on this page?

  (If I have two pages should show total registration under the same city is 30)

  I found a script to add # sequential to paragraph styles, but I couldn't pick up the latest issue on the page by using the variable text - function headers running in InDesign, not the last issue under the same city.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  Assuming that you need to do one city at the maximum per page and use you a single paragraph for your titles in the city style and assuming that use you a paragraph for your entries to name style then the following should do it.

  Create your gallery using a multi-state object and use the buttons to the small images. Small images should use the thumb to the action of the State. See this tutorial:

• Work of formatting cited page on the 2nd tab + line without breaking URLs

  I'm trying to create a page of the book quoted with the second, third, etc. lines indented.  When the URL is wrapped around or indented, the hyperlink is broken.  If I try to recreate, I get out the extra characters to the return line and space.  It also seems that dashes can break ties on the last line too, because if the paragraph is block format, the link as a whole works as expected.  For example:

For what is to keep the whole URL, create a character with no break style and any other properties you want your URL to be. • Scrolling after having closed the navigation panel shoots at the end of the book

  Every day, I use Adobe Digital Editions to the DSM5. If I use the navigation panel to find common ground in the book in the table of contents or by a bookmark, then close the navigation panel, then try to access the next page, I am instantly taken to the last page of the book. I get to the next page either mouse or arrow keys. Basically, the only way I can do this is to scroll through the entire book 992 page to the page I want, so I can go to the next page, or leave the open navigation panel all the time. As with the navigation panel open, I have to constantly scroll left/right on the page, because the text is not redistributed or appear on a page with the open navigation panel that it's extremely frustrating.  I'm on Mac 10.11.3 with Digital Editions version 4.5.126234. I had this same problem on my last laptop and done a clean install, so am sure that's not just my system. Does anyone have a solution?

• PDF display different one page to the next

  Hey there.  I'm finished a book of InDesign CS5.5.  I have a big tif image that appears on two pages.  When I export to pdf format, the right page the darker picture for some reason any.  I can't understand why, there are many other images of two pages in the book that don't do that.  Suggestions are very much appreciated!

  A page has any element with transparency (drop shadows, PNG images, whatever it is) compared to the other page? You don't mention the type of PDF, so if you export to a PDF: PDF/X-4 type, is there still an apparent difference? I guess the PDF displays different values, but have you checked using overview of Acrobat to the output to check the numbers?

• How can I get shot at horse runs on several chapters in the book panel?

  I was able to get the saddle to work perfectly if I print from one InDesign document by clicking on "print booklet". The problem I have is that I can't make it work through several documents that come from this same book. The position of the pages is correct from the inside of the selected chapter. In other words, it will be the first and the last page number of the chapter on the same page but only within this chapter not the book in its entirety. The saddle stitch should work is to have the first page of the book and the last page of the book on the same piece of paper. How can I get this to work? I was flipping through books and the internet for some time and I can't find the answer to this.

  Keep in a single page document the printers will be an important program that will creep.
