• Fleeing from a host on the PIX 520 but alerts that are still coming to the IDS

  Last week I saw allot of traffic from a particular host that triggers alerts IDS. After investigating the source, I added a statement SHUN to the pix. When I do a 'sho shun stat' of the NTC for this host is quite high (352) and rises. I still get alerts of the IDS on this particular host (Fragment IP and host sweeps). I guess if I was fleeing from an IP address, I don't receive alerts of IDS on that. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

  Seems obvious, but can't hurt to ask - where the sniff of your sensor interface? Of course, if your sniffing interface is located outside the pix, then junk traffic will always reach the pix - it just won't be through it.

  In addition, are fleeing this host for these alarms? Doing a show 'show shun' that host being blocked FOR the time you see alerts for this particular host?

  I get alerts that my drive c (20 GB) is full, while my d drive has enough free space (160 GB).

  I already deleted the unnecessary programs, but which has not addressed the problem.

  My Documents are mapped to the d drive (where there is enough space) but when you look at the contents of the c drive, I noticed there is more than 5 GB of space used in the My Documents folders on drive c (hidden files for the most part, etc.).

  If you want to only include lines in the output, if the code is at least 6 characters?
  Add to the WHERE clause:

  AND     LENGTH (a.stvsbgi_code)     >= 6
  

  It doesn't matter if you use a. stvsbgi_code and b. stvsbgi_code in this State; the join condition is already excluding the lines where it is less than 6 characters but the other is not.

  I hope that answers your question.

  I record copies "full" of my photos in iCloud.  I am now saved my computer with Time Machine, I wanted to know that it would also make a back up of files that I have on iCloud.  and if not then how can I do to save my iCloud on an external hard Bank without first download the files on the laptop...?

  Time Machine backs up everything on your Mac, including photos by iCloud if you only send copies reduced to your Mac (storage management) it's what will be saved.

  OK, so I'm at a dead end and had to buy a computer laptop refurb when my hard drive died while he's on leave.  Bought Monday, they had XP on it, but I checked the updates and it had 74 must be installed.

  I don't have access at home so I tried to install everything that was needed every day of the library since I bought this laptop on Monday.  On day 1, he said 74 needed to install updates, then I guess that the automatic far did a little more every day.  Finally the Service Pk 3 failed to install for the last 2 days.

  My question is: If one day some updates failed, the next day, wouldn't it automatically DL updates that failed the day before, get current?  If I were a computer, I would not keep DL and install new updates until the 'old' have been installed correctly.  So I just reasoning flawed or computers work this way?  Please tell me that I can't go back and redo all of those failed?

  .. .Meanwhile service pk 3 tells me he has finished loading and is ready to install, restart, etc... and I just canceled the installation because it seems that to me...
