recover windows vista business to windows 7 Professional

So I was able to get Windows 7 Professional using an iso image. I worked and I did not buy it, or have a product key. Then I downloaded something and got invaded by possible viruses that turn me off and established Internet my spaz tab open. I managed to get rid of these on my own without help, but my father wants me to use Windows vista professional because he is convinced that the connection was interrupted by the upgrade. (I do not absolutely courage to tell him otherwise). If anyone can tell me how I can do this. The product key for Windows vista Professional is on my computer.

Hello

There is no legal download for Vista available longer.

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Upgrade to Vista Business downgraded to XP 7

I recently bought a laptop HP Compaq 8710w comes with Vista Business downgraded to XP Professional. I ordered my upgrade kit, as I understand it will take to do me a clean install. My question is, I will receive a copy at retail of Windows 7, which also includes good 32-bit and 64-bit, or will I receive only the 32-bit version? If I get only the 32-bit version, it will be specific to my serial number or I'll be able to get on ebay and trade it for a 64-bit version?

It seems almost right that I have to do a clean install anything, I should be locked in the 32-bit version. As long as I do a clean install, it seems that I should be able to upgrade to 64-bit.

    Thank you

    Tyler

I think that you will have 32 bits by default, you can usually contact Microsoft directly and they will send 64-bit as long as you have a valid product key.

I currently have vista 32 professional and I want to upgrade to windows 7, I understand that I must use windows 7 Professional

is this correct and just use the regular windows 7 pro upgrade disc?

original title: Vista Business 32 - windows 7

If you want to make a room upgrade, you can use Windows 7 Pro 32-bit - you can buy and use the upgrade version. You can also buy Home Premium, but will need to perform a custom installation.

Then my computer run Windows 7?
Basic system requirements are listed below.  Features have additional requirements.

    • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x 86) or 64-bit (x 64) processor

    • 1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

    • 16 GB of disk space available (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

    • Graphical device DirectX 9 with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Run Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known problems that might affect installation and if you need to install the 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

    Installation - 'upgrade' means what?
Upgrade means that you can install Windows 7 simply by inserting the Windows 7 upgrade software in the DVD drive of your PC and follow the instructions on the screen. While you are not required to backup and reinstall your files, or reinstall your programs, it is a very good idea to back up your files and settings before you start any upgrade to the software. Get more information on the software updates and best practices .

Installation - what does "Custom (Clean)" Mean?
A custom (clean) installation clears the contents of the hard drive of your PC. Your files, settings, and programs will not be transferred to Windows 7. This means that to install Windows 7, you must:

    • Back up any files and settings you want to keep

    • Install Windows 7

    • Reinstall all your files

    • Reinstall all the programs you want to use.

These four steps take time, skills, techniques and Windows Easy Transfer can help. However, if you are not comfortable with this process, please consider having the installation carried out by a local service provider.

  • Use of the filesystem in Windows Vista Business

I had a neX61 in November last with Windows Vista Business and 120 GB disk space. I installed MS Office Standard 2007 and Visio, the disk of 2 months following its use grew much greated than the volume of data that I have placed on the system. I ran all the checks planned and all is good - no problems.

However I could not always represent 35 + concerts. I downloaded a tool on the web that says basically structure sizes and directory trees and showed that I should have 35 gigs of spare, i.e. If I added the directory sizes, there was a huge amount still free. I couldn't get to the bottom of this.

One day, Outlook 2007 crashed and rebuilds itself, when it rebuilt, suddenly space reappeared. Afterwards, I ran all the diagnosis of MS Outlook with no significant results. During the next 6 weeks, which space recovery file again gone so now its 50Gigs I losyt. I decided to uninstall Outlook, but so far it has not recovered from my disk space. Before that I use a hard reinstall of Vista Business Windoze of stuff over there?

    See you soon

    Andy,

Right now, you have identified the exact problem, hell, I didn't even know this has the value automativcally of backup, the first 25Gigs swallowed the backup, then the next 4 subsequent in swallowed another 5 concerts a moment. Unfortunately, I had several images vmware which did not help matters.

Thanks man, I owe you a virtual beer.

    Hi Mr sang,

Systems on your network are joined to a domain?
If so, they use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to get their updates?

If you use WSUS, you should post your question in the forums found here WSUS:
    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/winserverwsus/threads

If you do not use WSUS, but your systems are on a domain, you should post your question in the forums Vista IT found here:

If the above do not apply, you find the same update white screen when you run updates under a new profile?
Also, if you connect to a user in safe mode account, you get the same results?

  • stepupgrade windows vista business Japanese version for windows vista Ultimate edition

Recently, I bought a laptop in the Japan. The operating system is Windows Vista Business Japanese Version. I'm not familiar with the Japanese language and because of that I wanted to change it to English. I had discovered to find the way to put in place, but I found there was no way else to solve except buy a new Windows Vista with English Version or mine upgrade to Windows Vista ultimate. And I want to ask a question:
    1. is there anything else beside what I mentioned above?
    2. If I decided to buy a Step-Upgrade Vista Ultimate DVD Business, should I buy with the same language version with my Vista business, Japanese Version? Or is it fine with Step-setting level Vista Business to ultimate DVD English version anyway?
    3. Please show me how to change the display language after upgrade my Vista to Vista Ultimate!
    3. in the future, if there is a problem that I have to reinstall the OS, this DVD of Step - update allows again?

    Thank you for your attention.
I'm sorry, my English is not good enough, I hope that you will understand my questions.

    Best account.

    Change language:

    1. to change your Vista professional Japanese language to English, you can buy a Japanese Vista Ultimate Upgrade disk/license.

Then download the English language through Windows Update as an option Pack.

Vista Ultimate upgrade must be done in the original language Vista came.

    2. your other Option is to buy a FULL Vista Business English version and do a clean install.

    3. If you want to reinstall, you need the original installation of business > Ultimate upgrade > re-download the optional updates in Windows English Language Pack...
