HP 15-ac107na: 15-ac107na nine does not start

Hi all

Picked up this new PC today and it works. After about 10 minutes of "we need to update some things" pc went to a blue screen with the words "a moment" with a ring of points circling above. So far, this moment lasted 2 hours.

Is this normal? What can I do?

I dare not turn off the peak in case it still works on downloads etc, but I would have thought that he would have told me if he does.

Any advice welcome. Mike

@Mikeshaw1000

Could it be the W10 1511 update?

Let it go for now and let know us what happens.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 nine does not start

I just got a new Z10 now. I put in the sim card, battery and pressing the power button. He didn't turn on so I plugged it in. LED came on for a second or two, exploded, and then after a few seconds, a red battery with an exclamation point icon came on the screen. I tried several other chargers and none of them worked. I tried to plug it into my computer and it didn't work.

I searched the forums and found someone else with the same problem and the only response has been to connect it without the battery, then type in the battery. It did not work for this guy, he did not work for me.

I think, it could be the battery, but I don't know anyone with a Z10 I could try swapping the batteries with. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello and sorry to hear that.

Your phone must have started at the present time a charged battery has been inserted, so I would say the battery was DOA.
The OEM charger has a mah, higher than the closest voltage Chargers, so I would leave it plugged in for a while and hope the phone starts when it begins to take a load.

Otherwise, you have to get your hands on another farm.

  • M - series of satellites does not start successfully

    Hello

I have the following problem: all of a sudden (don't know why, nothing has changed) portable Satellite shows black white screen with all the following:

    (Sorry, translated from German):

Windows does not started correctly... due to software or hardware change... If the error was due to stop pls choose last functional configuration...

But this does not, as all the other options (windows boot as normal starting point, in safe mode... has failed.

    No idea what happenend!

    Problem:

Actually moved to another country and you have forgotten or lost the recovery CD! already contacted Toshiba for the nine, but perhaps when even someone can help?

If all goes well it s not a malfunction of the equipment.
In any case, in the first stage, you should try to reinstall the OS to see if this problem is software or hardware related.

  • HP Pavilion p6-2054uk: HP Pavilion p6-2054uk does not start all of a sudden upward. Help, please.

I hope someone can help here?

I have a desktop HP Pavilion p6-2054uk (Windows 7 64 bit - i5, 3.00 Ghz - 6 GB of RAM) that I bought in 2012 and especially use of HP products.

By starting my PC the other day, it will not start and crashes on the HP splash screen. When you press ESC, F10 and F1 and F8, it simply changes the screen to a black screen with 7 lines of text giving the details of my PC base on this subject. It should give me other optins at this stage, but does not work.

The HP Pavilion p6-2054uk hard drive does not start even another hard drive OS I've tried from another computer with Windows 7 64 bit on it. Troubleshooting a few others, I even tried a fresh new hard drive in it with a new copy of Windows 7 64 bit to install into the CD Rom and it will not yet go through the HP start - that is abnormal screen since usually, it detects the Windows CD and install. Furthermore, fans in the PC work normal, as the eject the power of the PC CD ROM light is on too. I tried all the three available inside power cables and tried diferent nine cables sata/data and another monitor entry too, all to nothing done.

The hard drive that was in the HP Pavilion p6-2054uk when he stopped to start up is fully accessible when placed in the other machine I have. Therefore, it is still operational.

The notable thing only I did in the days before it were installing Adobe Creative Suite 6 but I do not think that it would cause a major problem like this, noting also that another hard disk OS (without Creative Suite 6 is installed) and a new facility wouldn't start either. Therefore, I am afraid a harware issue any.

What could be going on here?

Side for the second or 2 of optimism about the usual boot the PC normally makes noises, it looks like he died immediately after, suspended on the HP screen.

    Thanks in advance.

    R.

    Hi there @dougaljoe,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your computer does not start and it is indeed suspended at the HP logo even with a different hard disk (with configured operating system) installed. I'm happy to help you with this.

I suggest that you perform all hardware diagnostics in the BIOS/UEFI. Please also refer to the following, as it covers a range of start-up problems, and if you follow the symptoms you experience should be useful. It includes information on diagnosis.  Computers HP - computer won't start (Windows 7)

According to you it might just be something easily replaceable, or something more simple to set, or in a worst case something requiring maintenance. If the worst case rears its ugly head, then try a hotline. Please use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp and create a folder for your question and call HP. If you do not live in the United States / Canada, please click on the link below to get contact information for your region. http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/WW-phone-assist.html If all goes well, he will not come to that, but it is preferable to have the information if necessary.

  • Error - NTLDR missing Windows XP Home computer does not start.

Original title: XP-based computer does not start.

XP Home does not start after I uninstalled a large file of Samsung mobile phone. I get a missing NTLDR error message and have had a System32 error as well, but there is no DOS prompt that would allow me to access anything whatsoever. Another problem is that I lost my installation CD. I initially bought this Dell PC nine over 6 years ago, so can provide identification details, if necessary program. Could someone tell me how I can make a recovery CD please? (No floppy drive not installed in the PC). To further complicate things (Yes, I know - I created many more problems that we all need), I have to keep my files on the hard disk, so cannot do a complete reformat, unless someone can tell how to save them somehow. My BACK skills could be summed up as "plodder inexperienced but determined!

The file might be missing or it could just be that XP can't find it if your file system has somehow got corrupted.

As the forums MS Answers does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.

Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Your system have IDE or SATA disks?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

System32 error, you see, is what exactly?

Depends on a few factors, there could be another copy of the file NTLDR in other places on your system, but you have to start on something to find out whether there is or not.

After answering the above questions, I begin to make a CD from Recovery Console bootable XP by running a chkdsk/r, first on your HARD drive and then see what is left to do.

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • Black MacBook does not start

I have a 10 year old black Macbook, which does not start when a battery is installed.  If it is connected without battery installed, it lights up, but if there is a battery in it, even if it is plugged in, it will get the startup sound and the screen of the Apple gray, then turn off.  I got a new battery and charge it where the charger turned green, but the results are the same.

    Any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what is happening with this machine, since the time and wear are considerations. I don't know what version of the operating system that you use, but there is a sequence of things you should do - in order of severity.

Since the 10.11.6 patch my IMac does not start with my hub plugged.

    Everyone

I assume you mean a USB hub? What does do when it's plugged in? It starts successfully when the hub is not plugged? If so, I would say that something is wrong with the hub or there is a problem with the port it is plugged or something plugged into the hub.

Try to plug it into a different USB port on your Mac.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or limit Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • My MacBook does not start and fires after the Apple logo. I received this error via FirstAid detail in disk utility.

    Hi Apple/community,

    I need a help.

What it means? Operation failed! My MacBook Pro does not start. It cuts after the loading screen. What will happen?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Well, it seems that your MacBook Pro hard drive has failed and cannot be repaired by disk utility.

Try to reboot into single user mode: How to start your Mac in single user mode or verbose--Apple Support

If it works, try to repair the disk with this command:

    fsck -fy
