  I understand your message you are trying to boot a MacBook (2008) for OS X Internet Recovery but it is not successful.  This happens because this year and model of Mac does not support the OS X Internet Recovery:

  Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery

  What version of Mac OS X is currently installed? In the menu bar select  > what the Mac and you should see the version of OS X installed.  If she has OS X 10.6.8 or more, then there is no OS X Recovery, and you will need the installation disk OS X, or the disc that came with the computer to erase the disk and reinstall OS X. You will need to insert the disc while the Mac is turned on, and then restart while holding the C key to boot the disk.

  Think you can not start your guest virtual machines just because it has a corrupted root system.img image. And suppose that it contains 5 physical disk (which are all created by the model CARS) where ASM on them.
  What is the easier recovery of computers scneario virtual comments (RAC)?
  
  Can this be a plausible scenario to retrieve availability? (Assume that both of the RAC system images are corrupted and we do not prefer a level system rather than backup recovery / restore)
  
  1 create 2 RAC instances using the same details of networking and the hostname that is corrupt. -Use the new 5 different drives.
  2 stop the newly created instances. Place the disks for instances newly created using virtual machine Manager.
  3. Add the old records the image system is unable to be corrected, but ASM disks are still in use (since the newly created instances using VM manager.) for newly created instances.

  you have a similar problem, trying to clone data bases with 11.2.
  The problem is that a cluster is identified uniquely, and this information is considered in the OCR and voting disks. So exactly these 2 should not be cloned.

  To achieve what you want, simply configure your system in this way, you have a diskgroup separated for OCR and vote (and ASM spfile), should not be restored in the case of szeanrio.
  Only all files in database in ASM will then be exchanged later.

  Then what you want is possible.
  However, I'm not sure that the RAC models have the ability to install the OCR and vote in a separate diskgroup.

• SSD Macbook Pro problem

"Could not unmount volume" or trying to clone the HD, "the source disk is only reading / writing.

  Overall, I had a lot of difficulty in the exercise of reading from the SSD and always failed in installing Mac OS X.

  I don't know what you were doing or how you did it in your question. I suggest you check if you can perform a recovery network: computers, which can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery. Then proceed as follows:

  Clean Install of El Capitan on a new disc

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime, press Command + Option + R until a globe appears.
  2. The Utility Menu appears in 5 to 20 minutes. Be patient.
  3. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  4. When loading disk utility, select the drive (generally, the entry Out-bumpy) in the list aside.
  5. Click the Partition tab in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.
  6. Set the GUID partition scheme.
  7. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
  8. Click on the apply button, then click the fact when it is active.
  9. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  10. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  This should install it El Capitan for you on the SSD. You can transfer your files from your backup.

• Laptop HP pavilion G7 - 2373CA

  My laptop of spouses who had not been used in months, to connect it to my router / modem was working fine, update of Norton, still worked OK then updates are down 112 and 5 optional updates in windows have been installed, after you perform a reboot I found the mouse does not work and a note kept popping up and the laptop kept gel.

  I finally tried to resyore at an earlier date, no difference, so I tried a refresh, but who has failed with an error message, no idea of what he says he flashed on and off so fast I don't have the chance to read.

  Now, I do a restore by using the HP recovery discs, it just prompted me to insert disk 2, on the instruction sheet sent with the disks, it says press F9, but apparently that didn't work so I tried F 11 and it worked.

  I was never able to put up with its own password from the Microsoft account, it always rejects it or mine changes, Microsoft phone several times on this issue but no help.

  If anyone can let me know what is happening with this laptop let me know, I can't use it without the mouse although my spouse, but it should work. Enter a disc 2 and in a hurry, but a long list of messages appeared to no boot device, so now I'm really stuck. Please help, it's windows 8

• HP Pavilion - the best way to optimize?

  SYSTEM INFORMATION: Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Windows XP SP3 32-bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600, MCE, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM

  PROBLEM: Office seems to have problems running the basic operations.  For example:

  a. when copying large amounts of data (50 + GB) to one external hardrive to another (via USB), Pavilion will restart.  This was never the case before.  Was able to perform the same task via my laptop Presario (AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology ML-32, 1.79 GHz, 384 MB RAM) with no problem and effectively transferred to 150 GB of info with the cell value.

  b. it took an hour and a half to format an external hard drive 300 GB (via USB) with the Pavilion.  It took only 5 minutes to format an external hard drive 200 GB (via USB) with the Presario.

  c. when downloading 4 GB with a value of the info of a DVD on the Pavilion, the computer will restart.

  QUESTION: What can I do to ensure that my flag is optimized?  How can I solve these issues the best?

  TX, looks like it's time to use some of these new tools for backup and perform a destructive system recovery.  Computers access naturally more slow times of installing and uninstalling the programs.  The registry have assign traces remaining.  The problem is, most of the registry cleaners, cause more problems than they solve.  Thus, a good recovery system solves this problem.

• HP Envy M6-K022dx: can not find the driver for the touch screen

  My hard drive crashed and I reinstalled Win 8.1 on a new hard drive. I downloaded the drivers and everything works except the touch screen. No response when I touch it. There is no driver touch screen under HP support. A ran Supprt tune and it does not show the touch screen drivers. Tactile, used to work, and Yes, this model has the TouchSmart/digitizer touch screen. How can I get the touch screen works again?

  Looks like you need to install Windows 8, with all the drivers of origin supplied with the product.  Try first to review this document, to see if you can restore the drivers of Recovery Manager: Computers HP - use of the Recovery Manager to restore software & drivers (Windows 8)

  If this isn't the case, then you may need the recovery of Windows 8 media.  Here you can find media recovery for Windows 8: recovery - TouchSmart from HP ENVY m6-k022dx support Sleekbook media

  Try using the recovery media, install Windows 8 with all the original drivers.  Therefore, you can upgrade back to 8.1 for Windows.  Make sure to save your Windows 8.1 image just in case.  You can use the following documents to help you, if necessary:

  HP computers - create a recovery Image on disc or save a recovery Image on a USB drive (Windows 8)

  HP computers - create and use a Microsoft recovery USB drive (Windows 8)

  The office 3 last PC I had (after a couple of self-esteem is based) have been HP. I think a Dell Inspiration this time my current HP will not be displayed. Dells have restrictions of the bios and the tattoos such as HP systems? How you change/upgrade at component level as the HDD, CPU, PSU or of video.

  Dell has tatoo for recovery partitions. (Course that all providers do this because Microsoft insist on it) Some systems have exclusive power supply connections.  TOUR 3847 inspiron models do not supply owners have but they do not have SHORT 9 inches or less video slots.  I put a corsair CS750M in my 3847 core I7 4790 K and a short single fan GTX 970. as long as the VIDEO CARD is made for mini-ITX computers, it will fit. As the ASUS GeForce® GTX 970 DC Mini.

  Desktop and small form factor systems also have restrictions on which brand drive works. Replacing the HARD drive is not valid.

  You get an error 0 x 400 is because the OEM hard drive has been replaced with a drive hard detail. OEM drives are brand or "tattooed"... and the recovery media it will search before installing.  Prevents the spread (aka hacking) of the recovery OEM computers media that it does not comes with.

  I won't give up and I decited to attempt a "repair"------"Difficulty" to my computer with my installation of windows 8 USB,.
  I have Runic installation and when I tried to 'freshen up' my os I got this error:

  I found the solution to the problem,

  I just realized that when you try to reset the OS you when you you delete all your drivers included computer HP hp laptop.
  the solution is to downlaod the hp site storage driver, run the installation of windows 8 and start installation, it will be aask to search for drivers, conect a usb with the driver you just downlaoded from the site of hp and records research (double click) on the folders one by one until it detects the drivers that adapts to your computer.
  format of the drive, install windows, then first thought is to start to download all the drivers one by one, because nothing will work up, the scroll of bluetooth\LAN\buttons\touchpad and more...
  I hope this solution helps more because I found this solution after 2 sleepless nights!

  I was just curious as to what the best people practice adopted for the location on the site of recovery of computers virtual placeholder?

  A lot of the docs I read uses a local data store, but my preference would be to create a small SAN LUNS and place them there.

• Sale of OEM computers without the recovery disk

  I just bought a computer from a State surplus auction.  The computer came with Windows XP Home installed, and a certificate of authenticity attached to the case.  However, there was no recovery media included in the sale.  Is it legal to sell me the computer as it is?  Everything I read says I need to include the recovery disk so that the license transfer legally, but I feel that the reason is so that I have more copies of the software.  Is this correct?

  Recently, I decided to build a new computer and are planning to install windows xp on it, however that the old computer was purchased with windows xp already installed on it I do not have a disk installation or a cd key.

  Can I install windows xp on my computer to custom build of my old computers recovery cd?

  You will not get a person of this venue to connect to your computer remotely, nor should allow you someone you do not know to do this. You can call Microsoft support and pay for it, but you would be better off to take the machine to a local computer Tech, a qualified person who is the computer will have a much better chance to diagnose and fix things than someone who works remotely. If you follow this path, do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place.

  Also, please explain what you are trying to do with the HP recovery discs. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I was also wondering as a user by accident, I've had systems infected previous operating I was wondering is it a good idea to use a program that can do your disc images and allows also to clone the hard disk as well.  Having one of these free programs like macruim think would be a good idea for a user like me?

  Besides what TheOldMan seconded and advised, I would like to add that if it is possible, it is very unlikely because of the way the virus and malware work today and because of theway the function of recovery partitions.

  I mean, you can't rely 100% on the recovery partitions, they are good, but not 100% subject to attacks or loss. However, if your PC ever be infected, this does not mean that the recovery of the partitions will become infected and unuable.

  HI, I bought a Hp desktop computer yesterday in a store in Alberta.  Yesterday after I bought the computer told me the person in the store to do a recovery with a 32 GB USB disk.  So today, I tried several times to go to the app to create recovery disk provided with this hp desktop computer.  When the application starts it says please wait while a blue bar across a white bar.  So the next thing coming back, he says put your USB drive in and the box has a check in there to copy the recovery partition and it also says to ensure that your USB has 16 GB of storage to the partion.  Then under this window, the next wiich button is greyed or I can not click on this button.   The Cancel button witch. I can click.

  What I would like to now that's what I can do to fix this and make me a recovery drive because nobody gave me a recovery cd to go wth this computer.
