  Hi all

  I read a lot on the internet about the replacement of the screen on computers laptop toshiba and also I saw a video on [how to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P855 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncz3ZaI2I-s].

  Is it possible to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P850 12Z (original: 15.6"@1366x768) to another screen with a higher resolution (say: 15.6"@1920x1080 or 15.6"@1600x900)?

  I'm sure that the graphics card is able to function perfectly with this screen (nVidia GeForce GT630M 2048 MB dedicated) and also I read a lot on laptop screen replacement, and I know that this screen has a connector 40 pin and it is an LED Panel, so I won't have to worry about the ups.

  I found several screens (15.6"@1920x1080) who say they are compatible with Toshiba, but I wan't to make sure a higher resolution Panel replacement is possible.

  Exchange of the display is not supported by Toshiba, so I don't think that someone here can help you with this.
  I assume that Toshiba offers multiple views for this model of laptop. Only seller is different but resolution 1366 x 768 is always the same as on the original laptop specification.

  Talk about confusion. Does anyone know how to get a Toshiba C660 work after the HARD drive failed and the owner has stupidly NOT followed the instructions to make a recovery disk. Will be the recovery disk (if buy you one from Toshiba) rebuild the new HARD disk with a new recovery partition and install windows 7 (original OS) and accept the product key printed on the Windows license, attached to the base of the laptop. I have read a number of suggestions, but these have been considered incorrect by others.

  I don't think it's really complicated, that I could find all the information about the recovery procedure in the user's manual

  The recovery disk must be created on the first day of purchase its recommended to create one in case something would be wrong with the HARD drive.

  The recovery disk contains an image. The image is a package containing Win system, drivers, tools and all the stuff pre-installed on the notebook.
  You bought the laptop and the system has already been activated so that you have need of t the key placed at the bottom of the unit.
  In addition, the use of the recovery disc formats the drive HARD integer (partitions too) and set the laptop in the same condition as at the first day of the purchase.

  There is also another option to recover the notebook called HARD drive recovery. This HARD drive recovery requires no recovery disk. The recovery disc HARD would be to use format ONLY partition C (System).

  You can do a flattening of transparencies custom which includes convert text to outlines, and who should do the conversion for you when you export as long as you export to Acrobat 4 compatibility to force the flattening, but the big question is why you think you need to convert to text converted to outlines for the printer? Built-in correctly fonts should work perfectly.

• Image vs cloning on the new HARD drive with an operating system already installed.

  First of all, I'm NOT tech savvy.  I apologize in advance.

  After several warnings error that my hard drive was in danger of failing, I was finally able to install a new HARD drive.  Windows has had some difficulty in installing Windows 7 to new HARD drive, but I finally found a solution.  So here's my current situation.

  I have the main drive (old) (C:\) which has Windows 7 and all my data on it (it is a Seagate 1 TB HARD drive that came installed on my Dell Studio XPS 8100).  I installed a new WD Black 1 TB HARD drive and was finally able to get Windows to download on it (it reads now like two distinct? score?) E:\ and F:\) see photo.

  

  Now, my question is this...

  I want to save all my data from my old HDD and put it on my new HARD drive.  One that I have this, I would like to remove the old Windows 7 HDD and use it as "extra" space

  Make a clone of the old HARD drive to the new since I have already installed the new Windows 7 HARD disk?

  Please advise and please keep in mind that I might say things correctly and I can't understand though if the answers are on my level.  I appreciate any help!

  OK, so here is what I would do to try to avoid problems of compatibility or driver, as far as I can:
  -Turn off your system completely and unplug from the power outlet wall
  -Disconnect the old drive in your system (SATA and power cables)
  -Place the new WD Black on the main port SATA (should be labeled SATA0)
  -Turn on your system and put your OS drive you can do a completely new installation of the operating system.
  S ' ensure that you have updated all the drivers and the operating system after the installation
  -Turn off your system and plug your old drive
  -Turn on the system in the BIOS and make sure the WD Black has the priority starting on the old HDD
  -Boot into the operating system and copy all data from the start of your old disk partition that you want to keep for the WD Black
  -Go to disk management and delete the old boot partitions and the old drive system
  -The old HDD should be your secondary drive now and you can freely move files between the two disks
  N ' have in mind that due to the new copy of the OS, you must reinstall all the games and programs in order to operate because of the new system registry

  This should put you on the safe side and prevent any compatibility issue or driver which is possible during a clone or restore procedure. :)

• Unable to process the pdf for ledger with 100's of links

  Runing Mac OS10.68 with CS5 (completely up to date). Work on a catalogue of big 800 + pages - which, through indesign, has all the links added to "see page" etc. etc. and index of links for paragraphs.

  Come to write the enitire in PDF book and on all Mac - 3 years with 6 GB of ram iMac, aged 9 months 3.33Ghx 6 core with 16 GB ram Mac Pro pdf written process ends at page 669.

  Which leaves me with an option - write the book into two parts and then edit links in Acrobat for those links that broke trying to connect for the first section to the second and vice versa - hardly ideal or own.

  Way interesting page 669 pdf without these problems when the book is divided in two.

  My conclusion is that it is a problem of software as new and old and more or less power/RAM seem to make no difference (apart from speed to abandonment on page 669)

  You cannot export the entire book to IDML, but you can export the

  document containing p. 668-671. But before that, I would say

  you try omitting this file of the book and see if the overall export works.

  Regarding notes dialing number.

  • You mention that you use InDesign book to combine the different chapters in a single EPUB export: for each of these various documents, check the following: Type > Options Document reference. What is the number of defined starting to for each of the documents? They pursue all sequentially the last issue of the previous document in the book? It could be that you skipped a number there may be?
  • Otherwise by manually changing the numbers could inadvertently "broken" anything. You cannot manually select the number in the text of the note at the bottom of the page and change the number, that will not update the number of reference in the text. Your notes would be out.
