Rectangles to the bottom of the screen

Hi all.
I googled all day to try to find the fix for the rectangles on the side of the screen. The only thing I've found is if you go to Catalyst Control Center, click on desktop and screens, then right-click in the smaller screen and click on set up, you can fix it from there.

But when I click on configure, I just make me taken back to the main menu on the CCC, so it's no good. I tried to install the drivers and such, but no luck in that Department so I hope you can help.

IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU PLAY

Thanks in advance.

Let me know if you need more information!

Hey, I just solved my problem. I ended up contacting ATI, and they sent me an e-mail with an older driver link, so I downloaded and which then is instaled! Problem solved.

Hope you get your problem sorted boyfriend. I'll try to help, but I'm not good with all this, barely started PC games and has enough problems to last me a lifetime already!

  • Dialog box erases the part of the screen at the end

    Hi all

I'm having a problem using the curve 8830 Simulator and JDE 4.2.1 when you close the dialog boxes. When I close a message of dialogue in my application to the fence, the dialog box clears a rectangle of the screen that is proportional to the size of the dialog box. In other words, if I drew pictures in the background bitmap, they are deleted (and I think that fields are left unaffected). This seems to occur only with the help of the 8830 and does not occur when you use, say, the 8520 Simulator (which has a more recent OS). There are possible solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance!

I'm basically calls the help dialog box:

    for example...

    int response = Dialog.ask (Dialog.D_YES_NO, "do you think the screen to clear the background", Dialog.YES);

    if(Response == Dialog.no) {}
    ...
    } else {}

    ...

    }

It is by reading a similar thread, give to think it can help, "If you do not pushModal() with the GLOBAL flag is set, then please try this first.", but there is no clear example of implementing exactly this...

    Thanks again

Detect the onFocus() or onExposed() event in your screen and you call invalidate().

This will precipitate paint this over.

  • How to move icons of the add-on at the helm the additional module at the bottom of the screen

I have a number of modules, and the icons on some of them take a lot of space. So the navigation bar is stuffed full. I added the bar add-on that appears at the bottom of the screen. However, I did not understand how to get the icons module moved to the bar downstairs. I'm sure it's something very simple, but I did find the magic combination to do it again.

I would appreciate any help/suggestions you can give me. Thanks for your help.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I use two laptops computers Toshiba running Windows 7 and the other is Windows 10. Both are 64-bit. And it is Firefox 42.0.

Type of topic: customization< enter > in the address bar.
In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, press and hold
the left button on it and move it to where you want it to be.
You can move the icons you want here, but
some icons are locked in place.

Also, there is a default button in the Middle at the bottom.

  • I have a toolbar additional bookmarks at the bottom of my screen. How can I remove it?

I had to reinstall Firefox after restore Windows 10-7 and almost all lose. When I opened Firefox, there was an additional bookmarks toolbar into the bottom of my screen. Don't know how it appeared, but I can't remove it from my screen. I tried to remove it section personalize, but everything what is remove one at the top, which I want to keep. I tried to right-click on it, but nothing happens, and there is no menu or 'x' to close out of it. I can reduce the size, but still, it resets when I open a new window and crashes my screen. Any ideas how to permanently remove this toolbar of my screen?

This looks like a problem with an extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Notification of Firefox at the bottom right of the screen freezes Windows 7

It seems that recently, Firefox (and maybe pop up notifications) are freezing my computer Windows 7. I used Firefox for years without this problem. In recent weeks, I noticed that system freeze seems to happen when a Firefox pop-up notification appears at the bottom right of the screen (for example Firefox 38.0.5 is available...). The mouse will continue moving the cursor on the screen for a few seconds, then that freezes at. I get no response from the keyboard, even CTRL-ALT-DEL and start button / stop fail to restart the machine. I need to remove and replace the power cord.

Hoping that Mozilla has solved the problem I updated today to 39.0 Firefox, but when a plugin of Firefox browser introduced a notification in the lower right corner of the system froze again. I don't have this problem of gel when Mozilla Thunderbird shows a notification in the bottom right of the screen (e.g. XXXXXX received 6 new messages).

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your display driver graphic card and search for hardware acceleration of related issues.

  • I don't see the status bar at the bottom of the screen. How can I get that back?

Something has changed. The status bar disappeared. The only way I seem to be able to leave Firefox is to close.

First of all, you can check that Firefox is not in his view full screen where the Windows task bar is hidden. The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

If Firefox hides the taskbar of Windows in normal mode, a file that stores the dimensions of Windows Firefox may be damaged. If you are not able to resize the window manually, you can delete this file for Firefox back to its original size.

    To try to manually resize:

Press Alt + space to display the system menu of the Firefox window, and then click the size (or press S) and press the arrow down once, then the arrow upwards once. This will usually move the bottom of the Firefox window to the visible area of the screen. If it is not visible, try pressing the arrow upwards several times, or for a while. To complete the editing of size, press ENTER.

If the window is maximized, then size is grayed out. This is normal, and this method won't help.

    To delete the settings file:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

You can activate missing bars (menus, toolbar bookmarks bar) using the list on the toolbar, which you can view by using one of the following:

    • Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar, or click the "+" button on the tab bar
    • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar, and then view > toolbars
    • on the Customize tab, use the button "show/hide Toolbar" (controls, buttons, and Toolbars Customize Firefox)

    Any improvement?

  • Something I did accidentally (I think) caused the tabs in the window at the bottom of the screen to move to a sidebar arrangement. How can I restore it?

How can I reset these tabs to appear at the bottom of the screen? I noticed that when I develop the width of the sidebar, all my desktop icons get scrambled to different places and I have to manually put them back where they were.

You should be able to drag the Windows taskbar to its position at the bottom of the screen.
Better is to lock the taskbar via the context menu to avoid such accidental movement.

  • all my icons that were normally at the bottom of the screen have migrated to the right side and are all bundled together how to place their return to the bott

I recently bought a HP 15 laptop with 8.1. I use mainly desktop with latest Mozilla. All my icons that is usually found at the bottom of the screen have migrated to the right side of the screen and boots, to the top, I can't do your choice. I tried to customize without result. I am 75 but strive to keep abreast, but it baffled me.

Sorry, it's a question of support of Windows, the Windows taskbar does not part of Firefox. I do not use Windows 8.1 myself, and I don't know if the process is the same as on my Windows XP - but maybe click and hold and drag this bar down might work like on Windows XP.

  • Scratches at the bottom of the screen

There are scratches or clear spots at the bottom of my screen (mid-2014 MacBook Pro 2.8 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HD, retina - all original, OS X 10.11.6 beta - 15G19a, Iris Pro 1536 MB Intel display set to 2880 x 1800).  I tried to capture in a screen shot and it didn't work.  I reset the PRAM/NVRAM nothing helps memory.  The brightness of the screen does not change it or changing the resolution.

I can't say for sure if she was there before the latest update Beta.  But I just noticed the other day and now it is disturbing me.

Is this something that needs to be addressed by Apple?

I am suspicious of a defective video card or LCD.  It is more obvious when a white background, such as a browser or finder window is open.

    Opinion is welcome.

  • How can I completely disable tabs because tabs are is no longer being on the bottom of the surface of the screen. tabs are used not long ago and will not be used.

Because you removed the possibility of lowering the tabs at the bottom of the upper part where they used to be that the tabs are no longer useful and takes place how to remove completely because they now take just a space of the screen. It takes just as much time to click Open Windows in the taskbar, as it does to use the tabs at the top of the screen so now I'll settle for all open in a new window and remove the wedges. I won't use an add on for this.

Of course, I have read your message and displayed an additional option if the modules were not suitable for you.

If you don't want to install an add-on, put the style in the userChrome.css file and restart Firefox. You can use the stylish add-on instead, if you have installed.
