Recycle inkjet cartridge Info

I can connect to the HP site but I can't log on to HP.com/recycle it does not address or password by email. I just want to get cartridge recycling envelope. Seems HP is not really into recycling and wants me to throw the cartridge in a landfill

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 6960: Differences between inkjet cartridges

What is the difference between HP 903 (standard or XL) inkjet cartridges and HP 934/935 XL?  Just had to buy a new printer through a hardward on that failure which was only 13 months old.  The old used HP 934 / 935. They are exactly the same except with different numbers and are exactly the same way and using the same method.

The 934/935 HP would allow instead of the 903 HP without damaging the settlement 6960 as I had just installed some new HP 934/935 in the defunct printer?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

No, the cartridges are designed for a particular printer.  It cannot be used in another printer that uses a number of different cartridge.

    Hope that helps!

  • Why 2 types of HP564 black inkjet cartridges?

I just bought my HP Photosmart B209A last month. I ran out of black ink. No problem... I need a Ref. 564 black cartridge. So, I went to my local Wal-Mart and bought one. Got it home and cannot install it. The packaging said HP564 Photosmart so I think I bought the right one. but no! Of course, this is after I opened and cannot return it. Thanks, now I'm out $10.00 all because HP can't score there products correctly. Why are there 2 types of 564 black cartridges? Yes, I know (now) that one is for photos and one is for normal printing and some model printers both use. But my new B209A only uses the Pentagon grand style. No 564 a or 564b or maybe a different number. No other designation unless you take the time to look under the 546 and see the little 'black picture. Who knows, there is nothing in the manual indicating the difference. It clearly states that this printer takes cartridge 564.

Obvoiusly Walmart knows no difference because him are all mixed in the same line.

Nice, gee thanks again HP! HP will do something? I guess I'm doing my part to increase your profits. The next time I give themselves as if by magic on all HP products. Pretty pathetic for something as stupid as an inkjet cartridge.

    Hi @SuzHP

Sorry to hear talk about the experience that you try to get the right cartridge. You can either buy for the PS 7520...

    a regular HP564 black (return on page ~ 250)

    OR

    HP564XL black (~ 550 performance)

The printer is a 5-ink system so you have black, Cyan, Magenta, yellow and black Photo. The best place for information on the compatibility of the cartridge is SureSupply or app eSupplies

  • HP C6602A inkjet cartridge: HP Inkjet Print Cartridge C6602A questions

My company recently upgraded our digital TS230 check and to the TS240 TS4120 and also bought new ink for the scanners. The new scanner takes the same 230 ink and 4120 took which is the cartridge inkjet HP C6602A. After you configure the scanners in several places, we started to receive complaints about the scanner by saying that there is no ink cartridge in the unit or it would stop spraying a micr information at the back of the scanned items.

I received one of the new cartridge to inspect and I noticed that on the new cartridge, the connector of the chip was a different design. The old cartridge model a full chip and the newer half a chip. I don't know if it was a bad batch of cartridges that are in circulation or if it was designed this way to reduce the cost of manufacturing the ink cartridge but I would like some answers.

I called Digital Check on this issue, and the representative told me that they have received several complaints about this as well

  • Stock of inkjet cartridges

My HP940 inkjet printer is dead, but I have a good stock of new cartridges of HP print for her (HP15 & HP78).  How will I know if any current HP printers or copiers even take these caertridges.  Otherwise, any reasonable suggestion on how best to throw out them for value so I can afford a new HP printer, please?

    Thank you very much.

    SL

There is no current printer, but #15 and #78 cartridges are used in all printers Deskjet 900 series (970, 950, 952, 990, 960, 940, 995 and perhaps others), 1220 Deskjet, Photosmart P1000, P1100, 1215 and the PSC 750 c and PSC 950C.  These printers can often be found on eBay, stores, deals or other sources for a few dollars, I usually pick them up for free $ 10.

Be aware that while the black cartridges can store well the #78 cartridge can be subject to problems of life if kept for long "install by" dates on the package.   Long life holds the pole of cartridges stored since they would be on a hanger to store display and store them in a cool place.

I tried to order a cartridge 364xl, but preserved site showing 301 I bought.  I don't think it's the right cartridge - can someone tell me if I can use it?

    Hello

Depending on where you bought your printer, the number could be 364 or 564 (city XL). 364 is for 5520 printers purchased in Western Europe, not 301.

364 cartridges are very popular, you should be able to find them in your country.

  • 61 Twin inkjet cartridge black: new ink cartridge not working not

I bought a pack of twin HP 61 ink about 2 months ago.  I went to use the second cartridge, and it did not work.  I have another bought from a dealer and found it works very well.  I wonder what HP can do for us since I wasn't able to use the second cartridge.  I have the package with any information you may need to identify it.

In the paper here troubleshooting steps can help solve the cartrdige 61 does not.  If this does not solve the problem check the warranty (on the lower back right side of the package, or as found on the cartrdige as shown in this document).

I just changed my blue and pink ink cartridges.  Now I get the message for the older generation of printer ink cartridges.  These are HP cartridges that I got at Sams Club.  They are just like those in it except here is the XL.  I replaced the with the Sams cartridges before without any problem.  I don't have the packaging.  I bought a few months when I need to replace black.  I had a package of color and black in the XL.  What can I do?  I bought 2 packs you can I just buy more?

    Hi @rubeckf,

I may be able to point you in the right direction for this error message.

According to this document on the resolution "more Incompatible cartridge" Message, the cartridge should be replaced.

Do you know if they are genuine HP cartridges? Anti-Counterfeit HP-identify genuine HP cartridges : HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of the ink cartridges not HP or full HP ink cartridges. If you don't use a genuine HP ink cartridges, the steps in this post could not solve the problem you experience. We could also see how supplies no HP compared to reloaded cartridges or reconstructed according to the buyers lab report.

I would also see limited warranty for print HP ink and print heads replaceable by the customer of consumables HP inkjet cartridges.

If you believe that the cartridge is a genuine product of HP, Contact the HP Support for help. Check the model number and the form to receive a case number. You can view all the other ways to connect with HP in their list of support Options.

    HP Officejet 8600 more all-in-one. Win 7 and 8.1

We recently had some inkjet cartridges recharged at the shop [personal information deleted]
Overland Park Kansas. They worked for a few days then our printer started to show error messages. Since then, we replaced each cartridge with a brand new black cartridge genuine HP, but our printer no longer works. I was wondering what kind of recourse do we have. We were happy with Costco over the years, but we hope that we don't end up having to buy a new printer. We also provide this letter to HP to see what options we have. Thank your for your quick response.

Thanks for the information. "With this error, I suggest following the actions suggested in this troubleshooting guide: "Printer failure"Message may include a ' 0x610000f6" or "0x61xxxxxx" error Code appears on the printer.

Since your error has an error code, you want to follow the second option in the document. I would like to know what are the results with as many details as possible.

  • HOW can I SUBSTITUTE of INK CARTRIDGE EXPIRATION IN HP all-in-one 8600

HOW can I SUBSTITUTE of INK CARTRIDGE EXPIRATION IN HP all-in-one 8600

    Hi @jfinny,

I am able to provide you with more information about your printer model 8600 and its ink delivery system.

Only some models of HP printers supports a substitution.

If supported by your printer, when you print, you should be prompted to press OK on the printer to continue.

If you do not get the prompt to click OK, your printer will deal with the similarly outdated cartridge as it does a cartridge missing or empty. It is designed to protect the entire printhead inside the unit.

You can view more information about these resources:
Consumable inkjet HP - ink Expiration

Cannot print when one of the HP ink cartridges is empty

You can also take a look at the limited warranty for print HP ink and print heads replaceable by the customer of consumables HP inkjet cartridges.

    I found this information in the HP Officejet Pro 8600 - User Guide, but I don't know if it helps at all;

Used with this printer HP cartridges contain a memory chip that helps with the use of the printer. More, this memory chip collects a limited set of information about the use of the printer, which may include the following: the date when the cartridge has been installed, the date where the cartridge of the last use, the number of pages printed using the cartridge, coverage of the page printing modes used, any printing error that occurred and model of printer. This information helps HP design future printers to meet the printing of our customers needs.

To disable the collection of usage information:
    1. on the printer control panel, press the arrow to the rightand then press Setup.
    2. Select Preferences, and then on cartridge chip information.
    3. press OK to disable the collection of usage information.

NOTE: If you disable the memory chip's ability to collect information on the use of the printer, you can still continue to use the cartridge in the printer HP.

I would like to know if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • Reloaded cartridges. They are worth?

Everyone likes to save money, and nothing beats a good deal.  But when it comes to cartridge refills, you might not receive the deal you thought you were. When it comes to performance other ink cartridges could be found without.  Old ink residue can accumulate and clog the nozzles. Are generic inks could be of a different viscosity as the needs of your printer to produce the print quality it is overused.  There are also other factors like components wear out over time on the cartridges themselves.  See this link here for more information on the reasons for the new HP cartridges are a better value in the long term.  You can also check out the videos of inkology which explains the science behind the operation of the inkjet cartridge.
