Redirect links embodied.

In outlook express, I can receive links to videos, blogs, etc. in the body of the email.  But when I try to send emails, embodied links will not open.  The little hand's not here, only the arrow.  I must have something on or off by mistake to cause this.  Someone knows how to fix this?

  • Redirect links Reports

What is the best way to redirect external links used e-mails? For example, the pdf documents downloaded from Eloqua contacts are redirected after submitting a form. Or, literally create a redirect Set Up link > redirect links.

    Sure thing!

As for the redirect link - did a few test, talk in support and looked through various reports and I could not find the referenced anywhere specific redirect link (app...e/er/?s=xxxx&lid=xxxx) and the o in visits destination that URL do not arise in my history of contact or on all the reports... redirect sent in PDF format hosted in Eloqua.  If someone figures where to find this report please let us know!

Workaround that works quite well if use a landing page to redirect - then setting up a landing page Eloqua and have automatically redirect after 1 second for the destination URL.  Visit appears in the contact record when a known visitor and Landing Page activity for the date range shows the two visits from returning visitors or strangers with a drill to see exactly which (for known).  For some reason any such visits do not appear in the report of the visitor to the Web site though - just to the landing page of the report.

    Hope that helps!

  • transition - redirect link

    Hello

I am trying to create a Web site of a Bank (in dreamweaver), and they want to have that little persistent inbetween page pages that give a warning as they have links to external pages: Note: you will leave the website of First Star Bank.  These links are provided for information purposes only.  First Star savings bank is not responsible for the content on these Web sites.
You will be transferred automatically in 5 seconds.  If your browser does not support transitions, please click here. »

First of all, I don't really know the terminology appropriate as to what it's called... it's redirect linking?  or transitions?  Anyway, I don't know how to do... and searched, but didn't come with much.  Also, I guess "Please click here" is the real link?

    Thanks for any info!

    Lisa

Your links to external sites would actually be a link to a page that contains the content of the disclaimer.  This page would be a meta refresh in the head who's moving the browser to the new page after 5 seconds.  Something like -

    http://www.great-Web-sights.com"/ >

You can do this with static pages, or with a dynamic page.  If you use the static approach, you would need a redirect page unique to each external link because these links are wired in the meta tag.  If you use the dynamic approach, you would have a single redirection page that would analyze the external link to a URL variable passed by the calling page.  It depends on your level of expertise.

    Dear,

Working on ISE 1.1 and face a problem after the assessment of posture for a machine, if the machine is not the correct antivirus, the NAC Agent suggest sanitation following link: http://kaspersky.test.com, when the user tries to click on the link, the link redirects him to customer provisioning page instead of the right of the antivirus Installer page. Even if I try to put the IP address instead of the link http://10.10.10.10 the problem persists.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

  • Insert as a redirect link on the e-mail hyperlinks

Hey guys, question for you all.

We had to go through our landing pages and add the URL of prefix Eloqua redirection (http://www.yoursite.com/elqNow/elqRedir.htm?ref=) to the links that point to assets outside our web site in order to the make it appear on the site map. This has allowed us to be able to mark these items as assets of high value that helps us in our rating of lead. However, what are we doing on the links in the emails that point to these assets? Check the Insert as link redirect check box in the e-mail Hyperlink dialog box do the same thing and allow an element appears in the sitemap? Or this feature is more just to support click e-mail through reports?

    Thanks in advance!

    See you soon,.

When we hyperlink in an email, if we check the box "redirect" page will be displayed in our site map so that we can the page label it. I hope it will work for you. Good luck!

  • Add a hyperlink or redirect link

I need to write a piece of code that automatically redirects users to another page (the url will be either "... /..") / 'or '. "- I can't do a direct www. link because of the way the pages were designed initially, and because they are in a secure connection box). For the life of me, I hunted for how to do this in ActionScript 3/Flex, but I can't find it.

What is happening is a popup opens, raises a question, and according to what they snap, it will take them to another page.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you
    Jenn

Never mind... look for long enough, and finally understand you the main things to look for.

I realized that I had to do
    var request: URLRequest = new URLRequest ("url");
    navigateToURL (request, "_self");

Then... I am happy that I found this on my own!

  • The page is not redirecting properly when you use a redirect link

When I try to go to a Web page like adf.ly it gives me the error! I really need help with that. I've allowed cookies I tried some things in the subject: config and deleted my cookies, nothing seems to work!

You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.

You can also view the journal du Net and network log in the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to see if you can figure out why you redirected.

  • Redirect to fix Google links to previous pages.

Y at - it a script that can redirect visitors to another page if the page they are looking for is removed or not found?

For the moment, I want to totally change the sites I'm working on, but Google links to the old pages. I could put pages in the same places as they were on the old site with redirect links on them, but it's terribly awkward - is there a better way?

    Thank you

You can put in place since a .htaccess file or ask your hosting

  • Where will be the issue of local links fixed?

See Bugzilla #995943 and #1058527. We used to be able to open links to local files (on a trustworthy company internal wiki) using a user.js custom to allow the opening of the files related to specified locations. This has been disabled in FF29. There seems to be consensus that it is a necessary condition (see all the comments on bugs), so why no one working on it?

OK, problem solved. It seems that I was using an outdated URL for our wiki, which had been moved to another server and the old redirected link, I had not learned the new name. I just had to put the new name of the server in the user.js. and in the bookmark for the site to which they correspond.

If there is a "roll eyes" emoticon here, I would add one now.

Thank you to try, anyway, it is appreciated.

  • Redirection of IE in Outlook 2010 problem

I have a RDSH server with the following configuration:

    Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 version 6.1.7601

vWorkspace 8.0.0.1167 RDSH & Broker for connections of the roles

    32-bit Microsoft Office 2010 version 14.0.6129.5000

    Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16635

I'm currently implementing IE server of URL redirection to the client. I have configured the following registry value according to the Administrator's guide:

    HKCR\http\shell\open\command

    Default REG_SZ "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Quest Software\vWorkspace\IE Redirection\iexplore.exe" %1

If I look in control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set default program Associations Programs\Set, the present value by default for HTTP is displayed as Quest vWorkspace Internet Explorer.

If I open links in Word, Excel or wordpad URLS are redirected to the local IE as expected. However, links opened from Outlook still open in Internet Explorer in the session RDSH.

Is there anything else I need to settle for redirect links in Outlook?

    Any help appreciated.

    Scott.

Since getting no answer to that, I put aside the issue for a while. Fortunately, I worked on the solution while fixing a link IE problem I was having in Outlook 2010 on a Citrix Xenapp server farm.

Outlook 2010 does not use the type of HKCR\http Protocol listed in the guide admin vWorkspace for the opening of its links, despite the fact that all the other Office applications. To access Outlook to redirect the links you need to change this:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\opennew\command

    Default REG_SZ = "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Quest Redirection\iexplore.exe" %1

  • Eloqua reporting: what is the difference between 'Link clicks' and 'interactive generated query string value "?

    clicks.png

Sometimes, I need to look at the link clicks in order to determine what link they clicked and sometimes the value of query string. What is the difference?

Redirect link is the actual URL that redirects to a specific Web site location.

Value of query string of clicks is what follows after the "?" in the link. These query strings do not change the location where the user is directed to but is for information purposes.

If you were to combine interactive generated link and the value of clicks query string, you will get the full link following the user.

Example: In your screenshot, for the first row in the report, the user would have followed this link:

    https://play.Google.com/store/apps/details?ID=no.osloby.app

The report broke it into 2 parts: clicks link (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details) and the value of query string of clicks (? id = no.osloby.app).

You can create custom query strings under configuration > site: query strings. This can be useful if you want to create your own way to mark up and view metrics on clicks for links. When you define a query string parameter, you can add this setting with different values at the end of the links to follow only those (ex: "?") QueryStringParam = value1'). I used this is to differentiate between separate instances of identical links in the same email (ex: a link is a banner image and text) to see who is the most useful and results in the most traffic. You can then view a breakdown of clicks by each query string under Insight > reports and dashboards > site > overview of Query String parameters.

Hope this helps... Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Follow-up of the link settings

    Good afternoon everyone,

Is there a documentation on the different track parameters Eloqua uses/creates/adds to email links? I'm trying to understand what is necessary for click tracking when an email is created outside Eloqua and then imported in. I'm not able to simply select, follow these links.

    Thank you

    Greg

Greg, it really boils down to a single parameter "elqTrack".

If the link in your email is supplied to an eloqua erotic page, or a page in which eloqua scripts are located (i.e. your site), then you don't need to include anything additional for the link.  When importing eloqua will natively add additional parameters that you won't be any need to change.  If you change a file already imported in eloqua, there is no harm in simply by using your local version and crushing the version existing eloqua.  Still, it will add the necessary parameters for the follow-up.

If the link is to lead directly to an entityt non-html (pdf, excel, image, word doc... GOLD etc) a web page that does not have scripts eloqua (youtube, twitter, website partner..), then you need to add elqTrack = true to your link.  When importing, eloqua will not change the link, but on actual shipment it will create a "redirect" link so that when someone clicks on it is able to follow exactly as if they land on a page with tracking script.

Let me know if this does not help.
