How can I minimize/disable the labview screen started?

When I close a vi, the splash screen appears at the center of the screen maximized by default and I allways have to minimize see the desktop, then double click on an another vi.

is it possible to reduce it by default?

It worked, I did a syntax error.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base How to set the home pagearticle.

There are the steps in this article to reset your preferences on the default home page. I would try everything first to clear all strangeness. If it works, you can try to set your homepage again to your personal preferences.

This will depend largely on the type of touchpad to your. If it's a Synaptics device, try the following.

Open windows control panel, open the mouse, click the device settings tab and then click on the button "settings". Look for an entry called "Pinch zoom", click it, and then remove the check mark from the box for "Enable Pinch Zoom". Click apply and then click Ok to save the setting.

On the start menu, the "Getting Started" application has no arrow to his right, his party!

I'm using Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit pre installed on my Sony VAIO. Whenever I go into the menu to start, the earlier application is still "Getting Started" and there always an arrow to its right. When I move the mouse on the "Getting Started", a submenu appears on the side still with applications like to experience Windows 7, customize Windows etc. After about 20 days (from the 1st day, I opened my new VAIO), the arrow is automatically spent.

Can you please tell me why does this happen? All other applications as Word 2010 has its right arrow that shows me recently opened documents, but where is the arrow of "Getting Started" went? The last thing I do on my computer is the main application of Office Starter 2010 to open and install it.

There are some that will hide your files/folders so that you don't normally see them. I strongly suggest to run a scan on your computer with your antivirus/antimalware software. If you need to, you can also use the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it's free:

NB200 freezes the Toshiba start screen.

I have a NB200 - 11L which has been sitting with an annoying problem for a while now.
When I turn on the laptop it freezes at the "Toshiba - leading innovation" the BIOS boot screen and goes no further.

I get the same problem with or without food
I tried replacing the HARD drive but still no problem.
With no DISC in the system, it attempts to boot from the network & also allows me to access the BIOS (currently version 1.20)

Anyone else had problems like this & successful to solve?

A few days ago, I saw the same problem on my Satellite A205 (American model) friends. After removing the HARD drive, I was able to enter the BIOS settings.

I ve value BIOS settings by default, the HARD drive has been replaced by a new and now everything works perfectly.

HARD drive was defective, and obviously the identification by BIOS HARD drive blocked throughout the system.

I recommend you get the new HARD drive and do the same thing.

Satellite L750 - Win7 freeze on the frequently start screen

Hi, my L750 was having this gel on the problem starting frequently in the past few days (almost 2 / 3 times), he just stopped just before the logo windows would load. at first he would continue to run after, I moved the mouse or press a key, but today would not work these tricks.

I have to press the power button to force the reboot and it show a window repair option, I've chosen, then the freeze after the disappearance of process bar (so don't empty screen and nothing, no disc hard processor or light), strength to restart again and it starts okay this time.

No idea what could be the problem here?

We don t know what you are doing with your laptop and what is the configuration of the OS, is not easy to say what can be the problem.

If this problem occurs only a few days, try to start the operating system in safe mode and roll back the BONES of a few days using System Restore tool.

Please test and post comments.

LabVIEW 2011 f2 [x 64]: no drop-down menu of "Targets" in the "Getting Started" window

Is this normal? I don't remember if selection "Targets" was there at the start, but it isn't here now! I installed the Module, the Module 2011 WSN 2011 Vision and ARM 2011 Module and their icons appear on the startup initialization screen, although there is no ARM Module screws present in the ADE.

If it's a bug, what should I do to fix?

I guess as 64-bit LabVIEW 2011 is not compatible with these modules, they will not fill the list started with targets. If they appear correctly in 32-bit LabVIEW 2011, it is most likely the problem.

From what I could gather other messages here (and), the problem is that I have nothing listening on 8080. Other than that, everything looks OK (I think).
So, can anyone say me\help me on why this one is not start? I have reinstalled this 6 times and still can not find the problem... (as you have seen, I even replaced the tns with paranoia 127.0.0.1 hostname). It is seriously makes me crazy. Everything I wanted (from the problem itself in even a step by step for Dummies) shows an installation, then the interface work... I see some questions about the "I can't connect to the...» "but most are left unanswered :(

Whenever I update on FireFox from the start. I have never "Firefix" icon/button top left which is described in all the GET started video instructions.

When you browse videos "Get menu started", they point to a firefox icon/button at the top left of the screen. They use this button for a menu to synchronize dropdown using private browsing and so on. It never is. What should I do to put the question on the screen?

You will see the Firefox button if the menu bar is hidden (view > toolbars or Firefox > Options).

Yesterday, I made an update of the BIOS on my Satellite A100-590 PSAA9E 03Z00QGR with the appropriate flash:

After flashing, the machine restarted automatically, but unfortunately it keeps now suspended from Thoshiba welcome screen. Also by pressing F2 or F12 will not change anything. It seems that the BIOS is damaged.

CC Illustrator crashes at the Promo start screen

I installed the Mavericks and decided to upgrade to Illustrator CC. Have downloaded fine and when I went to start it opens on-screen promo presenting the new features like rounded corners and segment tool editing etc. When I click on the button "Done" Ai CC blocks. Nothing that I solve it. So I ran uninstall and re-installed and exactly the same thing happens every time.
A few points of fact:
-J' have no. PLUGINS installed for IA CC
-J' I Ai CS5 installed (need this to access the ancient art in my archives which is format of Freehand drawing)
-J' I have CS6 installed (because most of my customers aren't on IA CC yet)
-CC Photoshop works very well
-MUSE CC works very well
I uninstalled Ai CC again and the last two days had a MAC IT specialist come and clean up my entire system to ensure that it is in perfect condition before I downloaded and tried to reinstall Ai CC. My system was not good too to listen since I installed Mountain Lion, everything works fine.
I tried to reinstall Ai CC and exactly the same thing happened, it hangs at the screen of the promo. When I go and click on the "Finish" button the beach turns ball and breaks down the entire application. At every time without exception.
CS6 AI works very well, no problems at all.
CAN and Adobe person really knows what do them watch the below and tell me what is going wrong?

HP Pavilion g6: advancing after the HP start screen

My laptop froze and I was unable to do anything, so I forced stop on it, I rebooted it and I noticed that I was on the home screen for a long period of time (about 10 min). I ran the test fast system in the UEFI BIOS and everything happened except "Hard Drive short DST Check: FAILED. If anyone can provide assistance. It would be appreciated.

If you created your set of recovery discs, it will reinstall Windows 8 on the new drive.

If you want to install Windows 7, change the following settings of the bios before installing.

Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to launch the Start Menu. Select f10 to open the bios menu.

Select the tab of the System Configuration, expand Boot Options and Secure Boot disabled and material value on " Enabled" (as applicable). Press f10 and select this option to save these settings - to reboot, you will be prompted to enter a PIN of 4 digits displayed on the screen. to do this and press ENTER.

Frost at the blue start screen

Pavilion DV6-2155dx of 2010 works well earlier today, then re-enable and generated a blue screen and will not go further... no error at all. Ran a 'Start Up Test' that says that Memory Test passed, intelligently check passed, but short DST failed. What I do then, anyone know? Thank you-

DST short test failed you suggests that your hard drive is defective or has already failed. If that's the case then you need to replace your hard drive and reinstall the operating system from the recovery media. If you have never created any recovery to DVD media, then you will need to contact HP in your local area and order the recovery disks. There will be a charge for support of recovery that you pay when you contact HP support.
