• Sheduler OBIEE 10 G-email configuration

  I'm putting in place a response report planned by e-mails to users.

  So far, I have followed this OBIEE 10 G - BI Scheduler Configuration (to book). GerardNico.com (BI, OBIEE, data warehouse and OWB)http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/scheduler_configuration

  And I created an iBOT for an answer report and tested it work OK to deliver the report to the dashboard.

  Now, to deliver an e-mail, I followed this OBIEE 10 G / 11G - how to configure the e-mail server of Planner / provides. GerardNico.com (BI, OBIEE, OWB, DataWare... )

  So I set up an smtp email in Task - Scheduler configuration manager. It's a no smtp SSL and I tested the smtp on another application information to ensure that it is correct. I restarted presentation server and Scheduler in windows - service. But when I test the iBOT, I got following error message:

  Any idea? I'm sure that the server smtp, port, username and password are correct because they work in another application. Thank you.

  Even if you keep the details in two DB, but on a single Scheduler instance will run.

  I have install OBIEE 10.3.3.4 on a GNU / linux RH (with OS user obiee) and Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1 on the same box (with OS user oraias).
  
  When I want to change some settings in the admin tab of BI publisher (administrator/administrator under the name of login/pass) and click "apply."
  I get the error "could not write to the configuration file. Once I changed the configuration to 777 properties, the error is still there. And I also try to change the SECURITY MODEL to the MEO, but still no use.
  
  I did a test, for example, when I change something in the admin - JDBC - Oracle BIEE and apply then I got the error. If I update xmlp/DataSource/datasources.xml manually, the change can be seen after that I opened the admin of page - JDBC - Oracle BIEE. That means I have find the right file and the file access properties is ok.
  
  Other parameters such as the Scheduler Configuration, I had the same error when apply. But the "Test connection" and "Installation diagram" function.

  I want to write a fixed set of samples to an analogue output, then stop.   I use c#, but this isn't important.  I don't want a continuous signal.   Let's say I have 1000 samples / second or one sample per 1 ms.    I want to be able to generate simple signals of anywhere from 10ms to 1000ms wide.   The shape is arbitrary, but once the samples are made I want to stop and stay on the last written sample.

  I generally synchronous writes, i.e. the .write is blocked until the end.   I need the start and end of the generation of signals to be deterministic.

  I have not found a way to do this.  It is refreshing to be or if I said do not regenerate I get an error of-200290.   I don't want to regenerate, and I want him to stop pending for other examples.

  Looks like you are currently your task schedule configured to generate samples continuously, and because you send only a fixed set of samples, the buffer is regenerating those samples to keep continually generate samples.

  For your application, it seems that affecting your finished samples task calendar may be a better fit. This will send the lump sum of the samples that you specify, and then stops.

  This can be done in the property Task.Timing with the SampleQuantityMode.FiniteSamples for the parameter.

  Since the installation, I have a number of security issues. I first noticed security warning balloon popping up at startup alert me that my firewall or my anti-virus software has been active in. I have not installed a firewall and account on the firewall of a security xp at this time. My laptop has anti-malware/spyware called "Spybot Search and Destroy". As mentioned earlier that my anti-virus is AVG Free edition. The firewall when checked reading disabled until the computer was nearing completion with respect to the start of all substantive programmes and anti-virus and anti-malware programs would read the same thing, are they loaded at all. (Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant, sorry again, but the menu at the top of the AVG Software bar flashes briefly when you hover over a button, briefly displaying a sign different menu under: S)

  As I try to keep my computer up to date for all programs, I check the windows updates regularly. For the first two weeks (before the avg installation problems), I didn't have a problem, but more recently Windows Update stopped several times to answer once started and only after several attempts to close the program and then restarting it again it will work

  After reading briefly on latest threats virus (Win32/Sality.AM, containing similar symptoms) I decided to use the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner. He detected a medium threat program: Win32/power Reg Scheduler. This program did not appear when I ran this scan before and nothing appeared on an AVG scan at all.

  All the details are:

  After a failed attempt to delete it also says:

  Any advice on how to remove the virus if it is indeed a would be useful and appreciated. I would like to use anti-virus software to remove it but the AVG software does not locate a problem and care scanner a Windows Live is unable to clean it up. If it does not seek to be a virus no matter what other help to solve security problems would be useful.

  What happened is that when the installation failed, left it "garbage" files that are trying to work, but can not function properly.  These files are what caused the error that you are experiencing.  My advice is first perform an uninstall of the avg anti-virus (I say this because to say what your first post, you had a corrupted/defective update of the old version (2010 I guess)).  After uninstall you AVG AV, double check that all the avg files have been properly removed.  After that, install AVG AV of the downloaded installation.  Here is a link to the avg homepage, they have the free download on the cover page:
