  What is the difference between ascending to and Parent of / Descendant of and the child of?

  Also if I nest a group is a way to add the children of groups of children to parent group?

  For example:

  • Parent group: racks 1
  • Child group: BladeChassis1

  Can I create a rule to search on racks 1 group that will add children from BladeChassis1 to 1 racks as well.  This measure metric level additional host level racks 1.   I would go a little further and adds the VM guests in the BladeChassis1 to 1 racks as well.  This would allow the additional to consider level racks 1 VM metric.   I know that I can manually add virtual machines, but it won't work because virtual machines are able to migrate between hosts.

  Worse, I would create Super Metrics.   It just hurts to create Super Metrics, if summary data are available in the default user interface.

  Hi Matt,

  I guess I was not clear enough. "An object must match all of the criteria in this rule set to become a member of the group" - it's quite true. What I propose is to create two 'sets', each containing a criteria. individual rule sets are joined with the logical OR operator. Just click on the "Add a new set of rules" link and you will figure it out.

  Let me know if you still not the desired behavior, and I'll upload a screenshot of tomorrow to illustrate

• ORA-20001: unauthorized access (package for the undefined security group variable).

  I'm creating an application that uses the authentication of the APEX and characteristics (work) registration and forgot password forms (does not work).
  
  My I forgot the password is public (requires authentication). The user provides the user name and a secret answer, which are validated and then provides the new password. I try to use htmldb_util.reset_pw to reset the password of the user, but it does not work.
  
  I have a process on the new password page call a PL/SQL anonymous block that looks like this (see below), where username = P16_ITEM1 and P18_ITEM1 = new password.

  I don't know how to send a message of success/failure of such PL/SQL block to the APEX, but that's a separate issue, I guess.

  This looks like a problem maybe caused by adware on your pc (oracle is group the ask toolbar in its critical security updates if you don't mind a disselect for example).

  Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also go to Control Panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.

  You cannot customize this search, unless you write your own scheduled task.  These aren't valid settings for the scheduled task.  You can't just add them on and think that the code will be used without rewriting code.  The recon group search should return all THE groups in your area because it is possible that any user can be a member.

  If you do the recon Group object or recon user, then you have other options, but not on that.

  By chance, I came up with this workaround. Of course there are other methods to get your data from a web - app, but if you want to use the 'Web apps search form', it would be a workaround.

  I noticed that the "Web apps entry form" contains all the fields of web applications for your web application (including the fields of the data source).

  It is possible to add the fields to the form of the "Web apps entry form" in the «Web apps search form»

  If you insert the "Web apps entry form" on a blank page, you will see all the fields in your web App including the "data source fields. The names of form fields contain something like.

  I need to create a page that displays the records of a VO, but I would not use a table.

  Instead, I would like to display a form for each record to be displayed.

  Forms must appear one above the other and each form should have 2 buttons: one to remove the file/form itself and one to add a new file/form.

  When you press the button Add a new empty form should be dynamically added to the page (so that the user can fill) and created related record.

  When REMOVE button is pressed the form (which contains the operated button) should be disappear and the record shuould be deleted.

  Creations and destruction must be applied only if the user clicks a button on CONFIRMATION / COMMIT.

  I was saying that your page layout can be achieved using af: table

  This provision is af:table (I think same as yours), just add a column in the table and put all the fields in this column then correct layout allows to design as a provision on the form or group layouts

  Data control , I drag and drop a few criteria appointed as Panel request ADF with Table. How to change the labels of fields in the search form. The search form shows the same label in the Object View which is not easy to use. for example, the table in Employee. Instead of (Fname) I need to have on the label (name).   Indeed, the param query approach might not be the best approach for your type of installation, and if all the webapp search forms use the same page to see the results then just put in the page ID in the search form and pass the custom as Adam recommended setting:

• Multi-selects search form break when the screen is Exact = true

  I came across a problem where selecting 'Vascular' in a drop-down list in my webapp search form also returned results 'Non-vasculaire '.

  After some research, I found adding "& Exact = true" at the end of the form action has solved this problem.

  I have then proceeded to re - test the selection of several elements of the multiple selection and submit the form. I got exactly zero results. I chose the two elements of the multiple selection separately and returned the results twice. I took the & Exact = true back out and retested select multiple items and received my results once more.

  Does anyone know how build the search engine so that I can prevent the search within words and allow also my multiple selection dropdowns to work properly?

  Also, I think that this behavior that I'm experiencing is a bug. Could an Adobe employee submit a bug report if yes please?
