Cut through the spin and the hype... the software support allows us to finance a development team dedicated to signature, which has improved our signature rejection rates and response times. In addition, it is allowing us to expand our coverage to keep IDS 4.1 to get the support of the signature. It is contrary to our previous policy which would have seen 4.1 updates to signature cut shortly after 5.0 released.
A side effect of this is that our development team is now free to focus on the development of the feature, and you will see more updates, more often.

Security for the TC endpoints registered to CUCM

I need your help once more!
We have a new Cisco Telepresence environment to deploy. In this environment, we have enrolled in CUCM (8.6.2) endpoint TC (v 5.1) points. The CUCM fit to VCS/VCS Expressway in order to be able to call endopints on the internet.
We will also have TMS and TP server to use multipoint and demand. TP will be registered in VCS.
Back to the question:
Can we have TLS and sRTP resource on endpoints registered to CUCM TC?
I was looking for some deployments of CallManager and security guides, but I found nothing cordially to endpoints TC, I haven't found information regarding Cisco IPphones.
Y at - it no document on this subject? I looked on the document "Administer endpoints TC on CUCM" and nothing.

I have a question about the EoL (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collaboration-endpoints/eos-eol-po...) policy and the announcement of EoS/EoL Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints...).
According to the policy of the EoL, paragraph 4 ter, "after the first year and for the operating system SW - if available - we will offer bug fixes, versions of maintenance, workarounds or patches for a period of 4 years for operating system software." Therefore, it is 5 years after the Date of the EoS, which could make the OS support close on 28/02/2017 EoL products. I'm one to believe that a product and its applicable operating system are good as long as the company provides patches for bugs/flaws.
My question is about the migration of the product suggestions. The suggestion is to "migrate to the Cisco EX Series (the EX60 or solution EX90) telepresence system." However, when the announcement of EoS/EoL EX60 inspection, the "SW maintenance communicated End Date of: HW, SW OS ' 06 07, 2016. Note that it is not the end of Maintenance SW verbiage in 1700 MXP EoS/EoL announcement. I'm under the assumption that the new product within OS support only one model exceeded? Why anyone would follow the suggested migration if I get fewer months support OS than an older model? Should I go out of date on the announcement of the EoS/EoL, or use the 5-year rule as shown in the end of life policy.
If I am interpreting this wrong, please do not hesitate to correct me. I am trying to understand the explicit verbiage in the end of life and ads EoS/EoL policy.
As the 1700 MXP announcement was published in 2011, at that time, the EX60/90 was a legitimate substitute. However years later, endpoints EX Series are now EOS, you should look at alternatives for the EX series instead.
The announcement of the EOS/EOL indicates a date of end of software support, you should go there. The reason that ad 1700 MXP does not list one could be that the date of assumption of the software had already spent or they simply don't have the list at the time. Looking at the latest version of the software for the 1700 MXP, it's F9.3.3 in 2014, I highly doubt, there will be another, but you never know given that other points of MXP endpoints that are not past their published end date of software support.

You can simply copy the output of the xConfiguration and paste it into the SSH client. You may need to change the output a bit to get the correct formatting, however. For example, the output registered since my SHH client contains a preceding * c which must be removed before that I can stick again in the SSH client:

When you perform a software update, codec configuration, including the keys installed option is not affected and will remain in the process. Keys options include Premium (PR), double (DD) display resolution and Multisite (MS). C40 has been end of sales since June 2015, so it is not possible to order anything for this, see eos-eol-notice-c51-733467. Procedure to upgrade the software codec is on pg 28, the same page mentioned in my previous answer. To upgrade codec software, you will need a release key when switching from one major version to another, as TC5 to TC7. You can request a release of the Cisco Licensing Portal key > obtain other Licenses > telepresence free software key, as long as the device has an active support contract. If you do not have an active support contract, you can contact TAC and get the free unlock key by referencing the Security Advisory cisco-sa-20160504-tpxml, which you can get a key to unlocking TC7. -

It should be supported.
Perhaps the last IOS stop supporting this card EoS.
You can try to downgrade your IOS to 12.3 T or 12.2 T to see if it makes any diff.

Cisco VPN Client causes a blue screen crash on Windows XP Pro (Satellite M30)

I have a Satellite Pro M30 running Windows XP Professional.
After you start a vpn Tunnel via a customer of Cisco VPN (Version 4.6 and 4.7), the system crashes with a blue screen.
I see that the key exchange is successful, but immediately after the vpn connection is established Windows XP crashes with a blue screen.
Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?
Perhaps by the updated device driver? And if so, which driver should be updated?

Well, it seems that the Cisco client is a problem.
I m unaware of this product because it of not designed by Toshiba.
I think that the drivers are not compatible with the Windows operating system.

I am an amateur (Techno IT by profession) and would like to know which one should I go for - EOS 7 d Mark II or 70 d? I have EOS 600 d for the last three years and lenses - lens 135mm kit, Canon macro 100mm, Tokina Wide angle and 400mm Tamron AF. However, I got my 600 d repaired twice in the last 1-2 years (Board of Directors has changed twice due to a technical problem - Canon Service does not gives me the details). I've spent some money on repair services so upgrade to a better.
I usually shoot landscapes, macro, photography, Portraits (just started) and astrophotography. I would like to grow my photography skills additional for exhibitions and online sales beginning especially with photography of birds and wildlife. I'm fine with the budget for the two DSLRs. I put doubts still to go for 70 d and invest the remainder in 600mm Tamron.
Please suggest that it fits my needs.

In my humble OPINION, both cameras are not comparable. If the 7 d Mk II is in the budget, go for it. It is not even a choice.
There are no 600mm Tamron? Do you mean the 150-600mm zoom? Tamrom makes the lenses very little choice but the 150-600mm F/5-6. 3 Di VC USD has a $70 discount until the end of the month. It's a remarkable lens for the money.

The software for E4200V1 updated to version EA4500 which does not work for E4200V1, I thought that maybe update version mГЄlГ on the Cisco update server, so I downloaded E4200V2 witch software is the same as EA4500.
I installed and the program started as Linksys EA4500, he updated and changed version E4200, hip and works!

Since the x 4500 is not a Nexus series switch, you looking for correct DCB support?
In this case these Dell 'Level 3' offers better support for resonable effort. I'll make sure that use you the latest firmware IOS and EQL. There are other switches catalyst IOS in the guide. Configure it in this sense would be a great place to start. Ideally, the switch dedicated for iSCSI use, not VLANd with other types of traffic.
If you can first test before production, then support can see table diagnosis and SANHQ archive for any signs of network related issues. (retransmit rate and types for example)

With the above configuration, I lost conectivity with the host in the vlan 1 - 192.200.3.x/24, but I win conectivity VLAN 2, when I connect the router to the 48 trunk port in the switch. This means that the trunk link for VLAN 2 work but not for VLAN 1.
I read on the port of general mode, where I can configure the pvid of the port as 1 (vlan1) and it would be the unttag VLAN (even natively in Cisco), and I can configure the VLAN 2 like the tag, all this in the same port. What do you think about this? Someone have set up something like that?

Unable to connect to network WPA2 with Windows 7 64-bit (Intel 4965 and Cisco WUSB600N)

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Wireless adapter (s): Intel 4965AGN (integrated into Dell XPSM1330) and Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N
Drivers: latest windows 7 64 bit drivers from the two websites of companies. Intel (v12.4.1.4), Linksys (3.0.10.0)
Network properties: WPA2 enterprise, encryption of the ACS, authentication EAP - P, several types of routers around the world
History: has been able to use the same laptop with Vista32 on this network without any problem
