Registration of Vista has stopped working! Help!

"A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly." Windows closes... »
It suddenly started to appear a month ago every time I turned on my laptop. At that time I just ignored it as I was too busy with work, and since my laptop was the for long periods of time I happened to forget that I had this problem. Now, I'm trying to settle this question but am stuck! I went to restore, but I do not have a restore point from before this started! So, what can I do? Someone help pleeease! :(

Try a Restore Point, do in Mode safe, if necessary:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

It told you that they do NOT have Restore Points to return to.

I'm sorry, I have to tell you this.

He can't go more...

You also used my exact words on the restoration of the system.
It is a no-no in these Forums.

If you can not write a reply, do NOT steal someone else's work:

My words:

If you see the icon on the desktop, do a right click on that and then left click on properties. The window that opens has all the information you need.

If no icon, and then start Windows Explorer and right click on computer it followed by the left-click on it.
  • "Windows Explorer has stopped working" - help!

    Running Vista HP, sp 2.

Firewall on the router & McAfee.

    WE automatic updates of windows

In the last two days, I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working" pretty constantly.  Not the kind of endless loop, just whenever I try to use it, it will give the errmsg, close, claim that it restarts and fail to do so.

I've had a scout quick tour here for solutions and tried all that is obvious:

    (1) run the System File Checker (Nothing found)

    (2) run chkdsk (Nothing found)

    (3) installed and run a-squared (found nothing)

    (4) off the display of thumbnails (past again)

    (5) started in SafeMode (past again)

FWIW, a few other applications have the same problem, for example Adobe Acrobat will crash all trying to save a file, to the point where it's the folder view.  And Acrobat and Windows Explorer are broken only if you try to display all drives on the computer.  If you start to US at a lower level, in 'my documents' therefore very well with what he shows you.  If you then scroll down to 'computer' and click to enlarge, this is the point where it crashes.

However, other applications (such as Word) can access and save items to this level, for example I can save a word doc on my phone as another drive of the word itself, although if I tried to slide anywhere in US it would be crushed before I could even see the phone was there.

My hunch is that it started with what seems to be a Windows Update absolutely unrelated to C++ security two days ago.  But it could be a complete diversion.

Any ideas?  I'm reaching the end of my tether here.

  • Dell Support Center has stopped working - HELP!

I get a message on my screen saying that the Dell's Support Center has stopped working and we're looking for a solution.

I think something happened to this software, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to be able to make it out for me.

I tried to center of Dell Support from the Start Menu.  The logo appears but nothing else happens.

What should I do to get it working again?

    Hello

I had the same problem. Read everything above,

Tried all of the suggested fixes, but the problem remains still.

Just before the end of the installation, I got the same message, that is to say:

"Error getting cert filename (property: Custom Action Data) of MSI.

As I find it very useful, I was determined to get it back, so...

I looked in my PROGRAM directory for any sign of Dell Support Center and therein, a subdirectory for "Dell Support Center.

There were two points in there, or an uninstall program.

I just remove the entire subdirectory "Dell Support Center", thinking to allow the installation program again.

then deleted the downloaded "aulauncher" (installation app for Dell Support Center).

    then restarted the pc.

Then I followed the link to download Dell Support Center of DELL again, the website downloaded, ran it, REBOOTED and all is now ok with my world. :-)

    I hope this helps.

  • Start a new game in Fallout 3 (fallout 3 has stopped working) help!

I have windows 7 Home Edition premium, I just downloaded fallout 3 out of gamestop. I was happy to play so I booted up and when I start a new game it goes to the loading each time, screen and then hangs. It is for me a window saying fallout 3 has stopped working... I would appreciate an answer I'd like to play this game.

Hey everybody.  It took me awhile to find the answer to this one.  Recently, I upgraded my laptop older to a new 64 bit Windows 7 OS kernel based Dell I7.  I reinstalled my copy of the edition of Fallout 3 GOY, and it would crash at startup, as soon as I clicked on 'new game '.  Finally after reading hundreds of posts on Fallout 3 crash, I came across this video which showed me the you tube fix. http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=4GN5HbMsMVE  Basically, the original Fallout 3 (Fallout 3 GOY edition and) does not contain the d3d9.dll file in the directory of Fallout 3.  Download this dll and put it in the directory of Fallout 3 corrected it for me instantly.

    I hope that helps!

  • "License for this product has stopped working" - help

I use Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 for Mac OS X. Last week my computer crashed. I now have a new hard drive, and most of my data was restored.

However, when I try to run Dreamweaver I get a message: "license for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product... »

Perhaps foolishly, I had never bypassed to the recording of Dreamweaver (despite periodic reminders), even if I use a legal copy, bought in the store with its own serial number, and I guess that's the reason why I now get this message.

I'm not a computer whizz-kid and nervous about what to do next, as I would not lose data or parameters.

Exactly how do we uninstall Dreamweaver? And when I reinstall I'm still currently having all my existing sites intact, as they were before?

Any guidance would be most welcome.

    Thank you.

Dreamweaver CS3 uses the old system of licenses, which really blows. Licensing for CS3 applications on my computer stopped working several times, and each time, it is a task to an hour to get it up and running again.

You will need to download the licensing repair utility for your system (Windows or Macintosh).

Delete / {boot disk Volume} / Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher, via the operating system or the Terminal.

Run the "LicenseRecoveryLauncher" script provided by Adobe. When the opportunity to work normally (entry) or remove (0), press ENTER to run normally.

    Reactivate your software.

You will need your serial number of product very convenient.

  • Firefox 3.5.1 running Vista has stopped working. No error message. Tried to uninstall and install also the latest version and get a message saying that I must first close Firefox (which of course obviously does not work)

Firefox 3.5.1 running Vista stopped work, no error message. Tried to uninstall and install the updated version. Download the message that I first need to close Firefox, but it is not obviously executed.

    This has happened

    Don't know how many times

I restored my system to an earlier date, December 2009

    User Agent

    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; Dealio Toolbar 3.1.1; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618; NET4.0C; AskTbWCL/5.8.0.12304)

Firefox can not run visibly, but is probably running in the background. It is in the Task Manager. To access the Task Manager go to Start and type in taskmgrsearch field. This will open the process task manager. Then go to the tab processes and end firefox.exe. After the end of this process, close the Task Manager and try to re-run the installation/uninstallation.

  • Microphone has stopped working - HELP, please!

    Hello.

My plug-in headset and regular lapel microphone suddenly stopped working.  It was working before and I know that my helmet or conventional microphone are not broken.

I noticed this problem when I would go to a Voice Chat room and trying to talk into the microphone, the volume bar would move only a little bit and not much.

I checked all my settings of volume and nothing is low in the volume bar of the Realtek High Definition Audio, or the DD Realtek Audio Manager.  Everything is fine and when I lifted up the microphone, he is selected by default and indicates that it works correctly, but the sound does not come through.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, my helmet is called Dynex, my plug in microphones are called Plantronics and the other on my Logitech webcam.  Help, please.

    ~ Marynonimous

P.S. I also went to my menu of BIOS and changed my setting audio on-board car Enabled to disabled, and then back to Enabled, and this still does not work.

P.P.S. My speakers work fine.  I hear people speaking from the voice chat rooms and hear the sounds of my computer.  I hear them on my helmet and my speakers when I unplug my headphones, so my speakers are absolutely perfect.

Well, I don't have the connected headset on the helmet correctly.  I fixed it.  Thank you.  I'm sorry.  Thank you.  God bless you all.  Love and prayers to Jesus.

  • Windows Vista has stopped working

I'm trying to fix my moms laptop that has windows vista on it. I can get it to start very well is not the problem. I can sign and take an account, if I open the Task Manager to get to the desktop. In the contrary case, it freezes on the Welcome screen. The laptop only works in safe mode, but clearly this is not what I want.

I want to plant restoration of the thing. But he said that I did not restore on the computer points. I tried to go into the Protection system and I can only change the name of the computer. I'm trying to set up the restore point, but it just doesn't work. Can someone please tell me how to plant to restore this laptop until I drive me nuts?

(The model is compaq presario CQ60 with processor intel pentium dual core, clear of Windows Vista)

    Hello

System restore points are not a resumption of the plant back to new condition.

Here's how to do it with a HP Compaq laptop.

"Performing a recovery of the system HP (Windows Vista)"

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=c00814731&cc=us&destPage=document&LC=en&tmp_docname=c00814731

Turn on the computer and immediately press the F11 key several times , about once a second, until the Recovery Manager opens.

Or in Vista, use the HP Recovery Manager to reinstall the operating system.

All the information are in the link.

    See you soon.
