Reinstallation of programs issues (not CC)

I just upgraded to CS6 and I want to save CS5 on an external to the case where I would prefer CS5 plus 6 on some prorgrams. More I spent a lot of money on CS5 I feel as if it was a waste to just uninstall and it have disappeared forever. I first tested with Flash. I moved it to my outside. Uninstalled on my mac and it left my external back in my application on my computer. However when I go to open the Flash, it says it must be reinstalled and there is not a dmg file in the Flash file. What Miss me? Or is that not possible?

Any information is greatly appreciated!

There are resources available for downloading different versions of Adobe software that are not likely to disappear anytime soon.  If they are no longer available through the Adobe website, they will most likely available via: http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl

To the file copy stage of the registry would be game.  It could be a permissions issue, you could mount the drive in a different Windows NT installation type and set the permissions.

  • Error message "a program could not start. Please try again"when I try to send Remote Assistance invitation.

original title: Remote Assistance does not work

    Win XP PRO SP3

    Question #1:

When you try to send an invitation to support remote I get an error message "a program could not start. Please try again. »

This error pops up before even the invitation is created, so the problem is with the creation of the invitation and not with problems of subsequent connection between the computers. The invitation is never created. This happens on several computers I own or maintain.

The event log records all errors when this happens.

I searched for hours all over the Internet and a lot of people seem to have this problem. Some it is resolved, for the most part, they needed to start a service, but the cause of their problem is not the same as mine.

After restarting the computer, sometimes the invitation creation works fine.

Other DIY suggests when the problem appears it can be corrected by running the command 'sessmgr-service' in a command line window. After executing this line it seems that the problem is resolved.

What I find disconcerting is that Sessmgr.exe is the service Remote Desktop Help Session Manager that was already running, but for some unknown reason runs this line made work again right. I'll have to experiment more.

Is it possible to debug and fix this?

    Question #2:

When I can finally send an invitation it will work on the local network but not on the Internet. I can't connect to the Internet.

I'm looking at the structure and the content of the invitation to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc240167(v=prot.10).aspx
In the example given here, as in the generated invitations in my experiences, the invitation contains only the LAN IP addresses (with port number) but no global address.
    RCTICKET =... 192.168.1.65:3389; Jeff: 3389

How the computer expert is supposed to understand the global address to which it should connect is a mystery to me.

How can I get Remote Assistance to work on the Internet?

Your problem is with the installation of SP3 (which is required for MSE) first.  You can also have other problems, but that seems to be in need of a first glance.  Please repost it here for assistance: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_update?page=1&tab=all&tm=1313047720337.  Once all issues are resolved, come back here and I'll give very clear instructions on how to get your computer ready for MSE and how to install and how to configure (and what to do if it still does not work).

  • Windows Vista crashes and displays a screen saying "the program does not.

    original title: crashing Vista

    Hello

My Vista PC crashes. I think it has something to do with the screen saver, memory, HARD drive or energy economy. The accident appears as frozen screen and sometimes the program says State "program does not. I have tried different tricks like turning off screen saver, change the setting for power, HARD drive always 'on '... But no changes have so far resolved the issues.

I was not able to identify a single application or function as the source of my problems...

My Vista works very well, but if a leave as the computer and screen saver starts or the computer screen will energy efficient, it will crash when I "wake up".

I've updated the system and all the applications and drivers, but the system is still unstable and cannot be left for an extended period of time before this crash. As long as I'm working on the PC all works. If I leave my PC, I have to turn it off.

    Hello

    Did you change your computer?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

I suggest you check in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If you are able to start your computer in safe mode, I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

To set up the computer in a clean boot, follow the steps in the link: How to perform a clean boot

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After checking in the clean boot, follow step: 7 article to reset your computer to normal startup.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to see the link and check out the program does not.

What does it mean when a program is not responding?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-does-it-mean-when-a-program-is-not-responding

    Method 3:

I suggest to download and install the Microsoft safety scanner and run the scan and check.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • programs do not work immediately after that fix malware 'trouble Shooting permit' said "applied settings are windows xp - but I have windows 7 ultimate

computer doesn't have any malware left in it. but subsequently noticed that things do not work right - google earth is good example. I then right click on the icon and place comes the list such as 'open with' but there is also one "Troubleshoot for compatibility" list just then up to 2 choices - one of the top is "compatibility with the applied settings" but it says "windows xp - service pack 2" it lists not windows 7 or windows 7 ultimate. " so I clicked on troubleshoot and place comes the yellow triangle exclamation "problems found - this program is not compatible with windows xp in terms of statistics... '.  I then started right click on other programs such as photoshop - real player - makes no difference they say ALL not compatible with windows xp.  --> the next part is probably not bound--> I have 2 computers connected to the same monitor - but they are not connected to each other.  that has windows xp.  during the correction of malware the second computer was not on at all.  during the correction of many programs scanning is headed by correspondent to customer of malwarebytes.  many things have been updated such as the intnernet Explorer and the latest updates of windows of all kinds.   is it possible that somewhere in the registry that something is stuck in there, making the computer thinks that it has installed xp?  for the 'settings applied' - it's just a matter of finding where this setting is and he said somehow 'windows 7 ultimate - windows xp no' while the programs will run to the right and things normally appear on the screen?  Another example is happening on the line using the Explorer - screen pages but look outdated with problems strange such as buttons are invisible - or images have large white rectangles in them.  computer starts slowly and "locks" a lot.  my main computer is very fast - all ratings on the performance page are high – most are 7.9.  somewhere in there, the computer has a confilict THOUGHT for PROGRAMS HE has Windows XP.

The second computer, I even unplugged all caps - nothing is hung even to monitor but the problem persists.  CLICKS TO APPLY WINDOWS SETTINGS 7 - INSTEAD OF XP - OR IS IT A DISASTER WHERE I HAVE THE GEEK SQUAD TO COME IN?   Thank you

Even now, I noticed that when I am ready to post the question - computer automatically knew that I have windows 7 - Internet explorer 9.  so computer works but on SOME things - he apparently thinks I have xp.   is it possible that ALL the people that right click and check compatibility, it says 'windows xp' without concern if they windows 7 or not?  have been emailing friends with windows 7 for you, please try and answer - but nobody will answer...
