reinstalling iTunes problem

I'm trying to reinstall iTunes on my HP Pavilion ze2000 under XP. I downloaded iTunesSetup.exe, but when I try to run it, I just get a Windows Installer dialog box that lists the version of the installer and a bunch of options (for example 'options display' ' restart options"). When I press OK in this dialog box, it goes but nothing happens. The installation of iTunes doesn't open. Could someone help me with this please?

Hello, Vassili.

  • Uninstalling iTunes problem

Earlier this year, itunes refuses to open at all. It would appear as an opening in the Task Manager, but would actually do anything. I decided that it was better to try to reinstall itunes, however I had several problems with uninstalling to the point where I had to create a new profile on my computer and uninstall it from there. Since then, I've downloaded the itunes Installer but when I go to run it, it usually freezes and finally closed. I don't know what changed, but now he said. It comes with two options: to uninstall itunes. or repair. As it had already been uninstalled I tried to use the two options, but he has been slain to the point where it says "register itunes automation server.". How can I my itunes works again? I have a HP laptop and run windows 10.

  • Selection of content in itunes problem

I could not solve the problem in the itunes store.  When I click on a film image or music album on the itunes store, it evokes the bad movie or album.  I have to move my mouse somewhere on the previous film or the image of the album so that I can choose which one I want.   It seems that the hyperlink that takes you to a particular movie or the album page is not in the right place.  You must move the mouse over the previous film or the image of the album, until writing under the desired content is underlined.  I have completely removed itunes and all its components and have reinstalled itunes.  For some reason, this has not fixed the problem.  Not sure why this started all of a sudden I've not had problems with itunes in the past.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

  • permission of iTunes problem

    Hi guys,.

For the 2 + last month, I've been trying to find a solution with Apple on the phone at the genius bars, then turn on the phone recently with the United States... but not getting anywhere, so, in the words of Leia "Obi Wan, you're my only hope!"

I have a MacBook pro, no problems in backing up my iPhone 6 until some time ago (and the best I can understand it was after iTunes 12) that I could not saved the iPhone because of not "having permission".  I implemented with this for awhile, and then he started to get boring, regarding the months now, I have not back to my phone, the situation has become so critical that I even thought to install iTunes on my work PC... but why do I do this?  A Councillor I got from apple is that it can relate to a full "locked" after a remote scan/report .plist file from my system.

To this day, I reinstalled iTunes OSX and even tried iMazing (which gives me a similar warning) it is interesting I can plug my iPad in my mac book and iTunes it identifies as soon as possible.  There is nothing wrong with the phone that when I was with the three genius recently they plugged on one of their own mac books and once again no problem.  Is it possible that I can use time machine to selectively download all my 'must haves' after wiped my mac book, then by installing a fresh OSX, then systematically load from my backup all the BUT the piece incriminated the whimsical script which is at the origin of the permissions issues?

Any assistance is welcome, "may the force be with you."

    Kind regards

    Paul.

  • 'Error 2 (Windows error 5)' - while reinstalling iTunes

I have Windows Vista Home Basic on an eMachines t5082. I just bought an iPhone 4 two days ago, so I downloaded and installed itunes. (As a backdrop, I had iTunes on my computer 3 years ago and has never been able to sync my old iPod friend on this one and had problems buying pieces, so I've never had luck with iTunes.)

I had two problems with iTunes since Thursday when I bought my phone. iTunes has worked until I tried to update my library and sync to my iPhone 4: either the iTunes caused two to close. I had Apple Support call me and followed their instructions to uninstall all Apple software via Control Panel. When I reinstalled as administrator, iTunes opens and I get the code "error 2 (Windows error 5) Apple Application Support is required to install iTunes". When I check Control Panel, Apple Application Support is installed on my computer so I don't know why I get this code. I tried to repair and uninstall again and reinstalled iTunes again.

I called Apple back twice and they advised me to uninstall all Apple software again, and my Windows Vista must be updated to Service Pack 2, then I used windows update and spent the entire evening, update all important updates and restarted my computer.

After reboot, I've downloaded iTunes again because they advised me that maybe I didn't have the current version. Installed as administrator again, and I still get the code 'error 2 (Windows error 5) '.

I uninstalled and reinstalled all software Apple about 7 times since Thursday. Nobody at Apple knows what to do. One of the latest Tech told me that it is a Windows problem. It has been very frustrating! I just want to put songs on my phone, and I don't want to rebuy songs all over again once I already bought on CD.

I know it's long, but it has been a long process and I needed to list as much as possible in the order it happened. Can someone help me?

You get the error message is specific to the program, it is not an error generated by Windows. As a result, Apple is your best place for assistance.

You can try to create a new administrator account and test if everything works fine, but if it doesn't, the only other option we suggest is to back up your files on an external and reinstall Windows.
