Reinstalling Windows 10 on L50 - B Satellite
Dear friends,
I would like to reinstall Windows on my Satellite L50 - B 10. I do not want to reinstall through Windows settings or it will restore the software useless Toshiba and demos that I spent some time to erase me. I would like to reinstall it using a flash drive and hold mode with Secure Boot UEFI enabled.
I have a flash drive with 10 Windows that I created with a tool from Microsoft of the ISO original (obtained through Microsoft Dreamspark). My question is, can we change the order of boot through Toshiba system settings to boot from USB, wipe the HARD drive and reinstall Windows? It will start normally later?
Thank you
You have my sympathy. Changing the boot order is not a problem, which is easily reversible. It will start normally then is a question you can answer only after trying to install or reinstall. I had win 8.1 and tried to install win 10. After six hours, I had a computer that did not go the Toshiba logo. Fortunately, with a lot of sweat and the use of the windows recovery disk, I returned to win 8.1.
I don't know if it was a recovery partition in the hard drive or the Microsoft cloud saved me. Make sure that you have a Microsoft ([email protected]), your password account and associate your mobile number to your account, that Microsoft can SMS allows you to check say you who you are and you say that you have a right to the operating system.

Need to reinstall windows, but does not have any CD - Satellite Pro L20
Hi, I wanted to reinstall Windows XP home on my Satellite Pro L20, but do not have the software that my laptop came with (read the discs lost). I have a valid XP tone (like its stuck on the bottom of my laptop), but no disc so I tired using a copy of a cd of Windows XP home, which did not work, but let me go as far as the formatting of the hard drive.
So now I use Ubuntu, but want to reinstall Windows. Have valid product key, but no software to reinstall.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Christopher
Valid key will not help you. This key belongs to the image recovery and copy included WXP he.
If you have two options. Either you order original Toshiba recovery image or use Microsoft installations CD key which belongs to this copy. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads.Good luck!

Impossible to reinstall Windows on Satellite A105-S2141
I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2141 I'm trying to reinstall Windows on after a bad virus infection. When I entered the Windows CD (OEM cd, not original) and it loads all the drivers it BSOD PAge_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area with 0 x 50.
I ran several diagnostics hardware on the machine (memtest, hard drive tests, winstress) and nothing comes back bad. I put in a disk of Vista for sh * s and giggles and it loads fine.At this point, I think that it is a SATA driver that must be loaded with Windows. I can't find this driver anywhere
http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/modelContent.jsp?CT=DL&OS=&category=&MOID=1373531& rpn = PSAA5U & modelFilter = A105-S2141 & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 1073768663There is the link to the support page for this model of laptop. I've also updated BIOS firmware to the latest version, I tried the BIOS driver loaded on a disk without result.
I am really confused and this laptop is no good for me at the moment. And what version of Windows you want to install?

Re: Satellite Pro A300 - recovery disk will reinstall Windows OS on the new HARD drive
Hard drive of my Satellite Pro A300 failed. It has now been replaced. I ordered a recovery disk.
This will allow me to reinstall Windows Vista OS that is installed initially? Also, I get this message "BOOTMGR MISSING". The recovery disc will fix this problem too?
Thanks in advance!> I ordered a recovery disk. This will allow me to reinstall Windows Vista OS that is installed initially?
Yes. Without a doubt.New HARD drive is recognized correctly in the BIOS settings?
If so avoid any problem. Moreover, A300 works perfectly and much better with Win7 32 bit.

How to reinstall windows without losing any data on the Satellite A100
Hello everyone!
I have a Toshiba Satellite A100 laptop and would like to reinstall Windows. The disc was divided into 2 parts. WinXp Home is installed on the first. What happens with the data on the secondary disk if I use the recovery CD? It will be formatted?
And if this is the case, how can I reinstall winXP Home without losing the data on the second drive? You can install the OS on the first partition only and all data saved on the second partition will not be deleted. To do this procedure of departure recovery and after choosing the language button tablecloth call SETUP. It is placed on the right side.
If I like what you must remember he chose the second option. The first one can be used when you want to create the new partition (DO NOT choose this one).
Bye and good luck!

Re: How to reinstall windows vista on my Satellite L300
I need to reinstall windows vista on my Satellite L300 because of a problem, I had with it (the computer does not start and the recovery option does not work). It has not come with a windows CD so how can I reinstall it?
Do I have to get a CD by myself and if so - what version of windows vista is compatible with my laptop?
(I can not contact the provider because I is not guaranteed).> It came not with a windows CD so how can I reinstall it?
You had an option pre-installed on your laptop that you helped to create the recovery disk. Seems you didn't create this disk in the pastWell, in this case, you can order the CD here:

Satellite L650-0E8 - blue screen so reinstall Windows?
Hey,.
I have a Satellite L650-0E8 running Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed delivered. The occasional BSOD has turned up I read elsewhere that less than a probloem with Windows 7 because it is easier to trigger. With this information, I've neglected a few crashes. Recently, it happened more often, twice a day this week.
I have not done the changes in material purchase and changes in windows only were regular updates. I ran the two HARD disk and the memory of the controls, both returned without problems.
I'm happy to return to factory settings I have my saved documents but do not receive a Windows with the computer, is disc - this necessary or there at - it another way around the problem or reinstall windows?
See you soon
Hey Buddy,
What blue screen code, you get exactly?
Of course you can reinstall Windows and it s especially the best way to get rid of these bluescreens. Best option is that restore you the factory settings recovery option of HARD drive as described in your user manual. Windows will be automatically reinstalled with all drivers and tools.
But I would recommend first creating Toshiba Recovery disk before you start the recovery of HARD drive. In which case it would go something wrong you are on the safe side because the recovery disc can always restore the factory settings on a new HDD without Windows.

Reinstalled Windows XP now WLAN is not recognized - Satellite Pro L20
I reinstalled Windows XP on my Satellite Pro L20.
In Device Manager, I have a number of yellow question marks, which means that the operating system has not installed the drivers and therefore does not recognize the device.
I downloaded the v5.3.0.35 Atheros Wireless Lan Driver Atheros dated 09/12/07 and tried to install these next to the 'Network controller' device, but nothing helped.
Someone has an idea of what I might hurt or something else I could try? Sole purpose of the laptop is wireless connectivity, so I'm anxious to get this sort.
Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide.
Hello Thomas
It will be interesting to know what L20 you exactly (L20 - xxx). It will be easier to identify what material is built into it.
Anyway, as far as I know this laptop comes with operating system Windows XP Home edition and will be best solution to install using the supplied OS recovery media. The OS will be installed just after 20 minutes and all the hardware components are configured correctly.
Of course, you install OS on your own. On the download page of Toshiba just follow instructions order facilities and avoid all the problems.
Back to the Atheros WLAN card. After you download the driver Atheros for Windows XP Home edition, open the folder INSTALL and run the setup.exe file. What happens when you do this?

Toshiba Satellite click 2 Mini - impossible to reinstall Windows OS
My toshiba mini right2 stopped working so I reset and tried to burn it all up even 10 and 8 to several usb drives windows to reinstall windows but when I boot in windows settings it does not I can't touch the screen to change the options or go forward using the key board.
the reason why Ive been trying to reinstall windows is because when I get to the windows 10 setting screen I fit my WiFi settings and English then the pc says please wait a minute later the screen flashes black and it restarts and I have to enter the settings again I have reset several times the pc sent do reboot if I leave the Park to language select on-screen.
Toshiba wants 80 pounds just to reinstall windows, but I don't know how they're going to do if I can't
If you have re-installed Windows successfully, but when he starts at the 'first time' Settings Wizard, where you enter the name of the computer, the user name, the wifi settings, etc you can not use the touchscreen or keyboard? I had this problem before as well. If you have a new installation of Windows then the drivers for the keyboard and touch screen are not available. The only way around this is to plug in a USB keyboard. I don't remember exactly, but I do not think the USB full-size on the keyboard dock works until the driver is installed, so you may need to get an adapter USB On The Go, so you can plug a USB keyboard full size in on the Tablet microUSB port.

Satellite 1620CDS: how C to format and reinstall Windows 98se
Hello
I have an old machine to 1620CDS and after several years of inactivity, I tried to use it again, but Windows did not start to the top at all. So I used the Toshiba product recovery disc and need to re - format disks before you reinstall Windows. However, during the formatting process, I have this message: 'type of media not valid reading drive C, terminated format' so I shut down the computer using the power button / stop and tried again, but the result was exactly the same. What it means?
HARD drive somehow corrupted or there is an error on the recovery disk?
Can someone help me with this?
Hello
It is a simpler method to format the HARD drive.
After booting from the floppy in the BACK, you can try this command:
FDISK/MBRBut if you don t know if the HARD drive is bad or not to download the fitness test utility in the form of disk and check you the HARD disk.
