  Hello

  In the Lenovo Web site, he said that Sierra Wireless EM7345 FRU 04 X 6014 GPS as well.

  I get a whole new X 1 carbon, but unfortunately there is NO driver for the WAN card Sierra Wireless EM7345 on lenovo page!

  How can I install this map on my X 1 carbon?

  Therei s only a driver for EM7355 and this driver is not compatible with the EM7345 in my X 1 carbon!

  I really have been helped by this forum in the past and really hope that you can help with this question.

  I installed the card and installed the driver - who went down without a hitch. The calculation recognizes the card without any problems. Unfortunately, however, when you insert a SIM card it does not record the SIM card either: "Insert sim" is always present.

  In my research on this forum, it seems this problem is specific to Windows 10 - the system does not recognize the wireless card but does not recognize the SIM card reader. For the record, it seems to work for others when using Windows 7 (but would not be a fantastic solution in my situation.)

  Is there any solution for this?

Is it matches exactly your mobile operator and the rate card SIM connected to? BTW, the SIM card activated, with access to large contract broadband?

  Your modem firmware is pretty obsolete. It might be bugy for your case. But maybe not. The new firmware is more stable in specific cases.

  Thanks to Intel, the modem chipset manufacturer, updated fw for this modem is a bit complicated. It can be done in automatic mode if:
  -fw loader driver and fw update tool are installed from the package above
  -your network operator IDs (MCC/MNC) are listed in the settings of update fw FLSInformation.xml file (found in the installation folder)
  -appropriate sim card is inserted into the slot of the drive

  If the home network is absent, you must perform the upgrade in manual mode, he needs a few things. We'll do it if you decide you (don't worry, no Internet users).

  I have a X carbon 1 with Sierra EM7345 WWAN modem. It is that everything installed perfectly - drivers etc. But id does not recognize the SIM card. I googled a bit and I can say that:

  (1) I have the drivers OK, I the WWAN etc network adapter.

  (2) I inserted the SIM card

  The SIM card works perferctly if I use the key USB 3 G stick instead. So the problem is not the SIM card.

  In my view, there are a few configuraiton Sierra modem that should be done - to switch to 3G / 2G or something.

  Please help - one of the main reasons to buy this laptop was the integrated WWAN.

  Do you see a broadband network connection manager window (VAN UI)? Check the APN settings.

  Could you install Lenovo's Access Connections on the laptop?

• T420 Clean install Woes (Sierra Wireless wwan 8355 problems) and logon print

  After a clean install of win 7 ult x 64 a T420 and install all the drivers, I have the following questions:

  Sierra wireless driver install gives me a connection that is hard-coded to "Verizon wireless" in the configuration list automatic wwan. in network connections, can't seem to delete this. I'm using at & t and another supplier in europe. WWAN autoconfig do not at all see these sims.

  Fingerprint reader works almost well. T420 starts from sleep while sliding my finger but does not connect me past the interface msgina.

  I have a T440 with Sierra LTE. It works fine to connect to mobile networks.

  But here in New Zealand, one of our suppliers also provides free wifi hotspots to customers on certain plans. To use this property, I have to enter a password which is sent to me by SMS.

  Is it possible that I can display SMS messages sent to the SIM card inside my laptop?

  Now, I need to remove the SIM card from my ThinkPad (with all the hassles that implies), paste it into my phone, get the password, then transfer the SIM card in my ThinkPad (and often do not, it is y no food taken located nearby, so I can't restart because I had to disable the internal battery during the installation/uninstallation of the SIM card).

  So, if someone can point to a way I can just see these SMS messages on my ThinkPad, I'm grateful enernally.

  Can anyone give me the link for update my drivers of WWAN Module HP un2430 for 64-bit Windows 10 platform or the update isn't out yet... If Yes, then pretty close when it comes out? The reason why I asked this question is because my module drivers Windows 8.1 is not compatible with Windows 10 so the wireless with no signal, so does not work.

  I've used Windows 8.1 64-bit but am now on Windows 10 64-bit for my EliteBook 8460p. The module hp un2430 worked perfectly when I used Windows 8.1.

  Finally, on the other hand if there is a patch that is useful to let the thing working please let know me.

• Late 2009 iMac Sierra gel & incomplete close

  Hi all

  I did a clean install of Sierra on my iMac late 2009, 3.60 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, the 12 GB of RAM, a 1 TB drive, ATI graphics card. Everything seemed to happen. Now, I have two problems:

  1. at least twice daily than the iMac just hangs. The mouse moves, but can not select anything. Cmd - Tab will not pass applications. Keyboard does not respond. All I can say is that I always Mail, Safari, & Open Office 4.1.2 running. Have to hold the power button to turn off and restart.

  2. at the end of the day, when I stopped, the process is not finished and I just get a black screen (computer for desktop is black, but the items on the desktop are not visible), with the only docking station. Still, the only way out seems to be to hold down the power button to turn off.

  Anyone else having these issues? Is it that I can save for a clean install of Yosemite that worked perfectly before?

• Sierra freezes!

  I have a Mac mini mid2011, i5 2.3 8 GB.

  I have upgrated from El capitan sierra and after some time I saw this:

  The mouse pointer suddenly stopped moving. The keyboard still worked, the caps light lock worked.

  I launched rowmote pro from my iphone, and the mouse moves! But when I clicked on something, the pointer became the colorful circle turning. And after a few seconds the colorful circle stopped rotating (freezes) and the mac mini totally frozed. Not even the caps light lock could turn on.

  So the only solution was to hard to close and restart. Then after 30-40 minutes again the same freeze again and again...

  I did a lot of research, I installed the temperature and cpu temperature was less than 65 years old when it was freezing. I uninstalled many programs etc... But still the gel.

  So I had to clean install sierra, to make sure that there is no problem with the udate.

  So I installed sierra to clean and guess what! The same thing happened again! It freezes after a while for no reason!

  I must point out that I have the mac mini for 5 years and changed all the BONES, but never happened something like that. He began to arrive 1 hour after I've updated for sierra.

  Is there a way to see newspapers etc, in order to find what is the reason of the gel?

  If I can't find a solution, I'll install own El capitan, and if it works perfectly (as he did), then for sure it is a major problem of the sierra...

• macOS jumps FaceTime from the Sierra

  Hello

  I just upgraded my MBP 2012 to macOS Sierra. Since then, I am more able to start or accept FaceTime calls.

  If I call someone, I always get a "call failed". If I receive a video call, I get only audio. If I want to activate the video, the FaceTime video window opens, but it's all black. I use the webcam integrated iSight, no extra hardware.

  He tried a couple of times, reboots etc.

  Also noticed it takes between 5 to 8 seconds the ringer before they appear on the receiving device (just tried calling my girlfriends iPhone and by measuring the time).

  When it accepts the call I get a "call failed" immediately.

  Anyone else having this problem? Currently impossible to find out what anyone on the internet.

  But it seems that some users had similar problems with El Capitan.

  Perhaps yet another network / connectivity problem (having multiple Midi outputs involving instruments AirPlay also crashes the system preferences panel or does not at all.) WiFi at the AirPort base station is not reliable either, but this is not new)

  Pretty sad to see this steady decline in quality with the Apple software.
