Remote access to Blackberry blackBerry Smartphones (EDIT: keyboard or difficulty)

The buttons on my blackberry curve no longer work, so I can't enter my password or access my phone at all. I tried LogMeIn, but it seems that you must be able to use your phone to get him in place.

Is anyway I can access my phone via my computer?

Thank you.

Edited to add - I broke the keyboard with spray cleaner all by cleaning my keys I think that, even if it was a very small amount and quickly wiped. I don't regret doing backwards...

I have no driver of screws or anything. I saw some videos on youtube cleaning behind your keys to any blackberry apparently, but it was not the same model as the (curved) mines, and I have no idea how to disassemble my black Berry to clean.  A step by step to do this with a blackberry curve would be great.  Thank you.

Does make sense. Does that include being connected via USB to a computer?

There is no BB tool (or any other 3rd party I know) for remote in this way. And even if there were, the answer is probably yes. BBs are available safer mobile devices... we have to live with some restrictions to take advantage of this security.

You may, however, be able to at least make a good backup of your data... depending on your situation, this may or may not work, but you can give it a try at least. You can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto on this post.

Approximately, how it would cost for doing this?

I have no way to predict the costs on a local market - they vary by region, store, etc... By question... correct assessment is also the first step to receive a correct estimate. And for hardware problems, or those which can be provided remotely internet correctly.

AveAra wrote: and what kind of shops I visit to find a material BB technician?

A shop that serves mobile devices, BlackBerry devices specifically. Our internet remote, I have no way of knowing if such exists in your area.

Good luck!

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Please refer to this Base of knowledge about your issue, also make a backup of your device, because ultimately you will have to follow # 2 of the workaround in this Knowledge Base:

  • Calendar of impossible access to blackBerry Smartphones.

    Hey.

I sieved by other threads regarding schedules and I could not find all the answers, but I apologize if I missed the thread containing the info I need.

My problem is the following - I can't access the calendar on my BB.

I try to select it, and it does not work. Not at all.

I tried to select by pressing the roller, pressing the menu key, and also tried to crush the cushion with my fist (haha not really but I wanted to...).

I think I have locked myself out of the application by accident, but I don't know.

I tried to change that BB works and that has not worked.

It wouldn't be a big deal except that I use my calendar as an organizer - so it's not very practical to say the least.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I don't think it's possible to lock your self out of the calendar app... or I would have!

(I was the worst rookie ever)

First stop is the traction battery or hard reset.

It's like your PC, you must turn off completely occasionally. The article is attached.

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

Let us know how it goes!

  • BlackBerry Smartphone 8330 keyboard lock

    Hello

I have a Curve 8330.  During the holidays, I received a phone call, when I tried to answer the BB would have not answered any of the keys.  It seems to be completely locked, none of the function keys, the phone or trackball keys no matter what.  As I mentioned, it comes to start it for a while where he had been inactive for a few days, as I tried to answer an incoming call, it was locked.

Is there a software fix that can be done to solve this problem, or is this a hardware problem?

Also, if I go back, is there a way to wipe the 8330 with on being able to access the Options menu or enter any input from the keyboard or the track ball?

    Thanks in advance!

    Real

First try just a simple reboot:

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

If the problem persists, post it here, please.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Unlike other how things, RIM does not provide a desktop PIM. Others force you to use their PIM and only their PIM. RIM provides a driving software that works as a bridge between your PIM and the BB. See this compatible PIM KB:

    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize
    • KB17022 How to configure applications to Organizer for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager

Since you have not provided any details about the reason she "won't synchronize", I don't quite know how to guide you further. Maybe if you tell us exaclty what you try, exaclty what you expect and exactly what is happening... then we might be able to help. Details...

Good luck and let us know!

  • Locking of the blackBerry Smartphone screen/keyboard keeps activating while the phone is in use.

I have a Blackberry 9810 "BOLD" and the screen/keyboard lock feature is always activate itself, even when I'm in the middle to send him a text or using the phone. Yesterday, it happened while I was talking on the phone and he cut the call. I can't find an option on my phone to activate switch. How can I solve this problem, because it's practically what makes my phone useless.

    Hello

Well, first of all... No... no 'BB support' can answer you here. This is because, when they gave to you when you register on this site, this site has nothing to do with any formal support any. On the contrary, it is a community of users where volunteers try to troubleshoot other kind souls to the best of their ability. Unfortunately, no response would mean that anyone who took the time to read your post has something useful to you.

From what you describe, I would infer that there is a wrong application behave which interferes with the function of locking, or maybe your operating system is somehow corrupted, or maybe a combination of the two. What I recommend is the following:

    1. Reload your own OS and as "skeleton" as possible (for example, whatever it is optional, let power off)
    2. If the problem immediately presented, then repeat step 1, but with an OS different package... maybe there's a bug in the specific operating system you run.
    3. If the problem does not immediately, then run for maybe a week-long enough to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. If the behavior does not after a week, add just one thing (just one... no matter how tempting it is to add more!)
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the behavior is, how well do you know the culprit
    6. If the behavior does not, then you know that reloading the OS or switch to another operating system package was the cure.

If none of this he healed, then you will have a physical hardware problem for which assessment in the hand by a qualified material is of course necessary. If you are under warranty, you seeking your warranty provider - normally your place of origin of the purchase, your provider of mobile service or one authorized service center (it varies by location, but you should have received the documentation at the front that tells you exactly how to use your warranty).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphone edition fw Emails, hide a recipient list...

More than once I wanted to pass on my BlackBerry emails but the original list of recipients is so long and thorough, it's almost a shame. Is it possible that I can skin less (non-) or change the main Email, before you go forward? Thank you all.

N ° you forward an email, and any change in any way would remove the 'authenticity' of the integrity of what you are shipping. I'm sorry.

There are third-party apps that allow this... Look in AppWorld or mobihand.com for "forward with Edit".

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Edit on Office contacts

How do you find out and change your contacts on the desktop software? I found the file but I can't open it.

    Thanx

RIM is Research in Motion, the maker of BlackBerry devices.

You should be able to sync with Windows Mail (I don't see why not, and the only way to confirm will be trying).

Here are the steps for you to follow:

    • With your BlackBerry connected, go to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and select Synchronize.
    • In the left menu under configure, select Synchronize, and then on the side right, again select the synchronization.
    • Select address book.  You should see the option to synchronize with your desktop applications, including Windows Mail, Outlook Express alias (if you see Outlook Express and Windows Mail, are not using Outlook Express).
    • Once you have configured your synchronization settings, perform a synchronization.  You should then be able to access your contact information in Windows Mail.

If you do not see an option for Windows Mail or Outlook Express, and if you have a Yahoo email account, you can sync using the Yahoo importer.

I hope that gives you a starting point.

  • Quick access to blackBerry Smartphones

I'm at the end of help - there is nothing serious. Can someone tell me how to remove the information in the quick access area? It repeat myself I have texts and when I check in the folder of text there aren't everything!

    Thank you

    Welcome to the forums!

Are you sure it's a text notification you see?  Anyway, you can post a screen shot for us?

Try a hard reset with your device powered on, remove the battery from your device, wait a few minutes and then put the battery back.

If the notification still appears, open a folder of messages, press the BlackBerry Menu button (to the left of the trackpad), then select view folders.  This will bring up a list of all possible cases where the notification could result.  Could be hiding in one of these.  If you find it, delete it and your notification will be cancelled.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones shortcut keyboard no longer works

I've updated my OS to V4.5.0, and now my voice mail shortcut keyboard no longer works. I have now the message "assign a speed dial key w." can anyone confirm this shortcut no longer exists or if it has been replaced by something else.

Sometimes, I saw a simple reboot of the device to correct this.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

If still not, and then assign your voicemail at this speed dial button.

Figured it out.  No option necessary editing.  Just start typing.  You are automatically in edit mode when you access a memo.
