Remote control/Web/text of sign colors

I have a remote control loaded using Internet Explorer for a sbRIO control. The system turns on and off quite a bit also when the web panel charges first, you see something along the lines of the Panel loading, download 0,0% web... I do not charge, but my question is about loading text and background colors. I know how to change the HTML color scheme, but what of the white background within the real web panel (in the code in HTML). I also want to change the text itself if possible...

I want to do because it would be much better if there was perhaps an AJAX loading spinner when it loads up (rather than text) and have a black background because my VI in loading has a black background Uni...

Thank you!

The "jury" is actually the LabVIEW Remote façade plugin (it's like the incorporation of executable code rather than display/web content generation) - I don't think that you have no control over the appearance of it outside of the configuration in the tags.

If you want something more advanced than this... you would probably need to look at alternatives (such as WebSockets! )

  • Is there an easy way to add text to a chain control / indicator and keep the colors

    Hello

Bassically I want to add text to a chain control / indicator without losing the formatting of the previous text.

For a part of a program that I create, data will be transmitted to and from a serial device. I want to display this data in a chain control / indicator and change the color of the text of certain strings depending on data type (sent, received). Basically as a nice log window.

At the moment, I update the chain control / indicator by reading the text and concatenated with the new string. However, this method removes the colors of previous text :-(

Is it possible to add data to the control of the chain / indicator without losing the text previous formatting?

I started to create a sub vi who reads a text both character and adds a new element in an array (offset color and text), if the color is distinguished by the previous character. Only problem is it seems to be quite time CPU.

    Thanks in advance,

Actually, no. This means that you will have to use workarounds. Your workaround solution seems a bit involved. Basically, all you need to do is just to keep track of the pairs of end start/selection selection that must be colored in a table. Then just you loop in this table to color the text marked by the power positions.

An alternative is to use a different indicator. Rather than an indicator of the string, you can use a table with a column. You can then set the foreground color on a cell by cell basis, and add a new line (row) will not affect the coloration of the previous lines.

  • Programming of the remote control

I am able to program the buttons on the remote without problem but I have more than 60 deployed MD and would like to be able to program them all at once.  Is there a way to the DMM to write an application of advanced task that will program the remote button?

    Thank you

    Al

    Alan,

Here's a technical tip I wrote on the programming of the remote control through the

a HTTP mib.  Just create a task advanced under the task system

for each color button.  Test & check if it works on a single DMP first and

then send task for each color button to all of the DMP.  Once it is

finished make sure you that you SAVE the configuration.

  • For the remote controls of the Keynote?

I want to use a remote control for a presentation in Keynote, I'll give.  It will be my first with a remote control, but which is later - should I buy a (If Yes, who?) or what is the last and the best app for me to use my iPhone as a remote control (which I prefer, a gadget to lose less!)?

Please use a simple language with me, a digital native.

I use my aging MacBook Pro with OSX 10.7.5, my speech is 5.1.1 and my iPhone is a 6s.

    Thank you!

Using a method rather than another is a personal preference, my preference as a coach and lecturer working in several different locations is to use Keynote for iOS, it has built in the remote control feature:

Tap to go to the next slide

    previous slide scanning

Pen tool marker on the screen

    the highlighter to screen

the iPad displays the screen of the presenter, showing the next slide and notes of the speaker of the presentation on the Mac

There must be a wifi network present, you can connect; many businesses teaching institutions lock unregistered users by default

The site Web of Keynote iOS is here: Keynote for iOS

  • Windows 8 on HP TouchSmart IQ826t (including REMOTE CONTROL) successfully installed

Here's the background.  I have a TouchSmart IQ826t running Windows 7.  I have installed on it, (same partition), Windows 8 RTM using a DVD.  The installation went without a hitch and Windows 8 is installed.  I've had two disappointments: 1) the possibilities of contact not only that it was very difficult to slide on the screen side and the only way to scroll from left to right was to use the scrollbar at the bottom of the screen.  (2) turner of the TV does not work, but I am hopeful that it will be the 26 Oct when Microsoft releases the Media Pack.

Thus, the question that I continued to work on was the touch feature.  I came across an update from HP that I missed for Windows 7 called "NextWindow 1950 Touch Screen Driver Update", which was to improve the answer touch near the edges of the screen and resolved a problem of sensibility in the upper right of the screen.  I downloaded it, (sp49787.exe) and tried to install it.  He would not have installed.  However, the part "NextWindow 1950" of the title was a clue.  I have been looking on the NextWindow site last week and I remember seeing a driver Windows 8 touch screen on their Web site: http://www.nextwindow.com/nextwindow_support/Windows_8_Touch_Screen_Driver.html

I took a chance and downloaded.  Before you try to install it, I created a new system in case restore point where and then installed.  The installation has maybe 4-5 minutes, but he reported that he managed.  Without having to reboot, I checked the tactile ability and WOW, it works now as my 7.5 Windows phone with lots of scrolling left and right as well as perfect sliding on the side of the screen!  Just to be safe, I restarted and everything works great!  Thus, it seems that the driver on the link above is the solution at least for my model.

I found how to get the HP Remote to work with my IQ826t! I was reading something and it reminded me that I had never gone through the list of Services on this computer. I found a service that has been extinguished called, 'Human Interface Device Access. I changed the properties of it from manual to automatic. Rebooted and WOW, the remote will now control the Volume, Mute and other functions, he was ignorant. NOTE: Before I tried this service I also found a service called "HP Software Framework. It was also well manually. I changed it to auto - delayed, but I don't think that this has nothing to do with the question. First try the service of Human Interface. I rebooted several times and the remote control of the TV still works. YES!

  • Satellite Pro P100: remote control does not not-> error ' cannot be read handle. ".

    Hello

My Satellite Pro P100 began to show the error "Failed to read handle." at startup. I found a related post and removed from the area of registry Toshibarc.exe control startup programs. This does not prevent the pop-up dialog box, but now my remote does not work.

Does anyone know if toshibarc.exe must run for the remote control work? And if so, how do I fix the error in the program (rather than simply removing from the register). Could this be a hardware problem?

If I try to manually run the C:\WINDOWS\SMSC\CIRHID\V1_0_0000_0\toshibarc.exe, I get the same popup "Impossible to get read handle.".

Thanks for any help or ideas

After a long period of investigation in the internet and visit many Web sites, I discovered that the ToshibaRC.exe file belongs to the Remote Application from Toshiba. It seems that the file is required to use the remote on the laptop...
But I can't give you a reason why it causes an error.

  • Satellite A300D and ExpressCard Remote control

    Hello guys,.

I own a Satellite A300D-135, y at - it an available for this model remote control? I'm looking for a remote control that fits in ExpressCard location as some HP models have.
I looked at several Dutch hardware well known, but I can't find a remote that fits the ExpressCard location.
I give many presentations and therefore use my laptop a lot. I would like to have a remote control that fits in ExpressCard location because that saves space and a remote control of such a size is easy to "hide" in your hand.

    Kind regards

As much as I know Toshiba doesn t offers remote control for this model of laptop. The question is whether a third party product is available on the market.
To be honest I have no interest in something like that, but I just want to recommend you to visit the web page of Logitech. They have so many products for PCs and laptops. Maybe they have a solution for the remote control that you can use with your laptop.

If you can find some interesting product please post the link.

    Good luck!

  • After upgrading to Vista my Toshiba MCE Remote Control doesn't help

    Hi all.

As I wrote in the subject line really. Buy Toshiba laptop with the option of upgrading to Vista by releasing. Setting up my new laptop and waiting for Vista to arrive, I ordered the direct remote control (with USB wireless "dongle") of this Web site.

He arrived soon and I was up and going, watching video content HD via DVI - HDMI cable I bought also from the comfort of my armchair.

Then came my copy of Vista. I was so happy! Then I discovered that drivers do not seem to work and there is no update on the Toshiba site.

Now I have to lift me up out of my comfy chair to put on the next video. I'm a toned guy - it's not as if I need the exercise!

Thanks for reading what I realize now is somewhat a position of "epic", and I hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction at least.

    Thank you!

    Hello

I m not surprised many programs and 3 devices do not work with Vista because of compatibility.
S hope let this unit will be supported for Vista and drivers is published in next time

By the way: what OS requirements can be found on the packaging? Y at - it something about Vista?

  • Connect to projector remote control

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L645-S4102, running Windows 7 and an EX5210 EPSON projector.  I am able to connect to the computer with the printer using a USB cable to show a POWER POINT program.  Images of the projector and the sound works fine.  But the the projector remote control does not work.  I have to use the arrow keys on the computer to move to the next slide.  Is there a way to set up my computer to pick up this remote?

    It hurts.

I don't understand what you mean by "a PowerPoint to JPEG", but I suppose what you mean is that if you have a PowerPoint saved on a USB key and plug this drive to the USB port on the projector, you can control the presentation using the remote control.

However, if you have a PowerPoint saved on the computer and then connect the computer using a cable between a USB port on the computer and the USB port on the projector, presentation displays via the projector but the remote does not work to move the slides.

Just to make sure that things work properly if not, unplug the projector from the computer and start the presentation that your friend wants to show.  It should display on the computer screen.  Advancing slides when you click the left button of the mouse?

When the projector is connected to the computer, have you tried all the other keys of the remote control?  In other words, the arrows (on the remote) move the cursor on the screen?  The Enter key act as a left mouse click?  The key is ESC acts as a right mouse click?

Note that as work around might be not satisfactory, you can copy the presentation from the computer on the flash drive and use it the way you did in the past.  Or, as you have already done, use the arrow keys on the computer.

I understand that the the User Guide for your projector says

If necessary, configure your computer to work with an external USB mouse. See your computer
    documentation for more details.

but I've never seen any system that requires a special configuration to use an external USB mouse.  All the ones I've seen that work as soon as they are installed.  If your remote control does not work as a wireless mouse, chances are that it never properly installed.

In addition to the advice 'configure your computer', Epson FAQ on this subject says "make sure that your computer is selected as a source. Press the button of the computer on the remote control to select your computer as source"- but if the computer has not been selected as source, you would not see the screen, it's probably not the answer.

If any, occurs when you connect the projector to the computer and turn on the projector?  You hear any sound or see a brief message pop up?  Do you remember if you hear or see anything the first time you connected to the projector to the computer?

With the projector connected and turned on, go to the computer and click Start, type "Device Manager" (without the quotes) in the search box and press ENTER.

Look through the Device Manager and if any device displays a warning icon, click twice on this device and to report (a) the full name of the device and (b) the full text, presented as "State of the device.

If there is no warning icons, follow these steps (it's a bit of speculation on my part, because I don't have a projector like yours):

    • Click the triangle to the left of "Human Interface Devices" to expand the category.  Report the full names of each item in this category
    • Click the triangle to the left of "mice and other pointing devices" to expand the category.  Report the full names of each item in this category
    • Click the triangle to the left of "Human Interface Devices" to expand the category.  Report the full names of each item in this category
    • Click on the triangle located to the left of "De Bus USB controllers" to expand the category.  Is there an element with a name similar to "(USB) driver Microsoft mouse and keyboard detection"?
    • Browse through the categories and see if you can find a question relating to your Epson projector.  I don't know which category this might be it's not in the above 3 categories.  If you find it, please report (a) what category it's in, and (b) the full name of the device.

    EDIT TO ADD

Your computer is connected to the Internet when you plugged the projector to the computer?

Is your computer connected to the Internet now (or can connect if you want to do)?

I ask these last two questions because it dawned on me that maybe by "configure your computer," Epson means that you must install the driver for the remote wireless mouse function.  Although it is possible that such a driver is embedded as part of a normal installation of Windows 7, it is more likely that when you plugged the projector to the computer, Windows would tried to access Windows Update to find the right driver.  Describes user guide the CD supplied with the projector as just "documentation projector" Epson must wait until the driver is built either in or is downloaded from Windows Update.  Alternatively, you can download the driver directly from Epson--> http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?UseCookie=yes&oid=188471&prodoid=63091522&infoType=Downloads&platform=nodetect

  • Remote Control Surface RT using Windows Phone

Y at - it an app that allows you to use a Windows Phone as a remote control for the Surface 2? For example, if Surface 2 is connected to a TV via HDMI, can you control the Surface of the couch using a Windows Phone?

EDIT: Found this app "Unified remote", but does not currently support Windows RT. We can try to make requests in their request page of http://requests.unifiedremote.com/. There is an APA request Windows RT but I can't seem to be able to click on the star. Let me know if you are able to.

EDIT #2: I got a response from the people behind the "Unified Remote" application above. They say they receive a lot of requests for RT so it's something that they intend to work and out in the future, but no word on how long they intend to get it out. If it is interesting for you, I say drop a line so that they know that demand for an application of the RT is here!

    Hello

I am not aware or all the apps that provide this functionality for Windows RT.  I understand that you have found an app, but it does not support Windows RT. You cannot send a request through the Web site. I've tried it myself and was unable to click on the star.

You can click on this link and get in touch with unified remote support.
