• Remote panels and LabVIEW 2009

  Hello

  I updated my application PXI time real LabVIEW 2009 (Pro) and I'm now trying to connect with planels remote.  I can only have a remote panel open.  The other gives me the "connecting remote panels exceeds maximum number of licenses" the problem has not been captured in LabVIEW 8.5 and I have the remote license (unlimited) panel is activated in the License Manager.

  The problem is now resolved.  This is a problem now at NEITHER and they had to send me a new license file I had to transfer on PXI.

• Is it possible to limit the number of connections to the remote panel to a vi?

  I have an application that runs on a PXI RT system and I use the remote control to access. My license allows me to have several remote connections and it's ok that I sometimes need to open several remote panels at the same time.  However, I would like to limit the number of connections for a particular VI 1.  Is this something that can be done?

  The way it can be done is to interview customers who are connected to the VI through a remote façade.  When you do that, you close the connection to anyone, but the first person who connected to the façade.  In this way, if someone is running the VI, no one else can connect.  Once they are made, someone else can then connect to the remote façade.  I created an example illistrates community this behavior.  You can find it here:

  I use the idea in the link as a way to password protect a remote control. However, there is a problem. Once a user logs on, if a second user logs on while the first user is connected, the second user automatically gets access without having to log in. Do any have ideas to force the second (and other additional users) to log on before they can get access?

  OOOOO, look at what I found.

  Try to configure the VI as reentrante and then see what happens when many people attempt to connect. I didn't know that this was possible with remote panels. This looks like exactly what you need (unless you want the screens for all the game once they connect...)

• Remote panels - Situation of the Client crashes

  I would like to ask if someone can help me with the following situation.

  I have an application that has several other dialog boxes live and a high level VI this app is accessible by a remote client via remote panels. The highest level VI (contains the menu - structure of loop and event) the customer selects what he wants to run. Then, the front of his choice opens on his computer. Everything works ok.

  However, if the client computer suddenly loses internet connectivity, then the runtime indicate a crash of the plugin in the browser.

  On server side, all open applications appear to freeze. I can disable them one by one and then stop everything and try again.

  Could someone let me know how to address this issue? I wish that the customer, in the case where an accident occurs, to be able to reconnect to the application.

  Thank you to attach screenshots.

  The reason why you get this error is that you try to close a connection that is already closed by the server. You can add a simple error handler after your block of proximity with the Client , who must take care of the pop-up. There is possibility to ignore this error (or other). This knowledge base article does a great job explaining how.

  Is there a way to make the Web update of the current status of the application server?

  My application throws an instance of model VI dynamically, and I wish have remote command for each of these models. How can I create page remote panel HTML for each instance on the fly? Or is there a way by which I can access by remote model instance? My application is in LV 8.2.1 and I need this application EXE.

• Server error remote panel on Crio-9012

  Hi all

  I would like to have access to a sub VI on the real time controller, but if I open it with the ordering tool remotely, an error pops up.

  LabVIEW: Resource not found

  An error occurred loading "lvfpp0.vi" VI

  LabVIEW support 3 error code: could not load front panel

  If I want to open the main VI it works fine, so the address, firewall etc seems to be OK.

• How to view Subvi on the secondary monitor with remote panels?

  I try to have a Subvi, called from a VI hand open on a secondary monitor.  I use panels remote to control my main application, which is open in a web browser on the secondary monitor.  I tried to adjust the monitor properties VI - Position of the immediate window - to '1' and also tried to set this value programmatically by using the node property of front panel, but doesn't seem to work.  My Subvi always appears on my primary monitor.

  I use LV 8.6.1 RT and my application is running on a CRIO.

  I'd appreciate any help.

• Establish multiple connections to remote panels before executables.

  I built two different executables of two different screws in my PC and I am trying to access their facades simultaneously in my web browser, the problem is that I can only access at the time no not two, but I can access both of them at the opening of the original with LabVIEW 2011 screws!, I read somewhere that the web server only allows a connection at the time if the License Manager is in the same machine, I do not know if it comes to the front panels of the executables or screws because I have no problem with VI front panels, so if someone knows something about it please do not hesitate to help, I really appreciate it.

• My remote panel works only with computers on my LAN!

  I am building a website using remote façade and Web publishing tool.  Whenever I use web publishing tool it gives me a url in this format.

  http://computer-name.corporate-name.local:8086 / VI - nom.html

  http://byengpc11-14-12.teamcorp.local:8086 / 123.html

  This dose of URL does not work on any computer that is not connected to my local net work.  My computer says I need to use the HTTP 8084-8088 Ports because the others are in use.  Could this be my problem?  Also, I don't know what to do with 'configure web application server.

  Of course, you have a local DNS server, and your URL is meaningless to the public. Suppose you have a public IP address and the company firewall allows effectively to new connections from outside of these ports, so try to access via the IP address.

  In addition, your firewall on the computer may allow only local incoming connections.

• detect connections of the remote panel?

  Is it possible for my VI to "detect" when someone has connected with a command remotely, and asked the control?

  I have a problem (because of the size and complexity of my VI I'm sure) that when a RP takes control, after a period of time, the main VI starts to slow down and begins to lose data (this comes from a TCP connection)!

  I would like to know when a RP takes control and disconnect them automatically after a period of time (5 min?).  I know that there is a connection on the web page of publication delay, but it seems that come into play if 1 RP control and another actually demand.  I need to be able to limit the time to control a single RP.

  If you look at the Help menu for 'Customer login' it is very useful.

  Using the output of 'connection', you can index this table to obtain useful information on the current client.

  You can then use a little logic timing to allow them to connect only for a specified time.

  Then you deport 'em with 'close connection to the client.

• Remote panel disconnects frequently when Wi - Fi

  We use the function of remote control to control our application from another PC connected to the intranet. This works very well when the internet connection between the server and client PC is via a cable. But when the PC are connected via wireless internet and when I try to connect to the application server LV from the web browser of the client, the public Service charge but after a few seconds, I get a message "the connection to the server is broken.   One time, we noticed for the disconnect is due to refresh the screen we do when a new client connects to the screen. This screen refresh Gets and sets the properties/values of all controls/indicators in the public Service to make the customer also discovered the same scene. There is a large number of read/write property. So we made this refresh will occur in stages. As the FP has a tab control, we update the currently visible page first. Then from the next iteration, we update the controls in other pages - page-by-page. In this way, the update is distributed on number of iterations and the remote client is given enough time to update. This prevents the disconnection - we were able to connect 1 or 2 attempts.

• Remote panel using myRIO

  Hi all

  I would like to distance, monitor and control an executable on my goal of RT myRIO via a web browser in another system. I followed the same procedure, such as mentioned in this KB (who worked on the cRIO). But when I build the executable, I'm not able to find an .ini file or a .config (please refer to preview files, .ini and .config build are not generated too) file to check the settings as a target of cRIO. I tried opening the page in a browser, it says that it cannot open the document. What could be the reason? And I use web services to achieve the same thing in myRIO (who uses lv classes)?  Thanks in advance.

  I used to publish screws on the 8.6 LV Web server, not the problems of witkout, but with workaround solutions, it entered into deployment.

  Now, to try similar things and are having problems.

  I use 2010sp1 (english version) LV on a German XP Professional with the German Version of browsers.

  To start simple, I used the web publishing tool.

  When I do a simple snap of the VI, it works very well with all browsers. When I turn on remote it works only with the

  IE (7 in this case), but only if I disable the Kaspersky Firewall (exe of the VI is included in approved programs)

  Opera (my favorite, here 11.5) asks a missing plug-in, but displays the header text and footer

  Firefox not similar but shows only a small icon for the missing front.

  and the fact that insofar as I understand that "nplv2010win32.dll" is present when it is intended.

  Unfortunately, your colleague is right.

  There are problems using remote façade of LV in the latest versions of firefox.

  It has been possible with firefox 1.x.

  Opera is not supported for remote access of façade.

  In fact, IE is the browser more stable and reliable for the remote façade LV panels.

  Regarding the Kaspersky Firewall:

  Please can you check if all ports which are used in the Web of LabVIEW server are open...
  The ports used by the Server Web LV you can find in the settings the LabVIEW server options.
