Removal of password BIOS on Tecra M11 - 11 M

I have a Toshiba Tecra M11 - 11 M, which was blocked from password. I stripped the computer laptop and removed the BIOS during 10 min but the rest password battery still IE on the screen it still reads PASSWORD - *.

There is no way to get into the BIOS through a combination of keys.
There are no markings or letters on the motherboard whether ie: C35 - C36 or J12 - J13 out short which would in most cases to remove the password and allow access to the BIOS.

The technicians out there with any ideas would be much appreciated.
Some people asking for help with a password of bios are not thieves but crazy just forgetful.

As far as I know Toshiba uses several methods to remove BIOS password. On commercial machines like Tecra and Portege method is not the same as the Satellite models.
Remove battery BIOS works on desktop computers, but not on mobile machines.

Mobile machinery must have better protection due to the fact that can be stolen easily and it is very important against a misuse.

S OK, but you can't wait this BIOS password removal method will be described on the public forum. Contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and they will do it for you. All you have to do is show an invoice validates and prove that you are the real owner of this Tecra machine.

The only way here is, look for an ASP.

They can remove this password and you will be able to access the BIOS of your machine.

  • How to remove/reset password BIOS on my Satellite A350D?

    Hi all,

Unfortunately (but "strangely" especially!) my Toshiba Satellite a350d - 20 k PSALME-01D00RIT does not not recognize the BIOS password. It's the same password never. I used it for 9 months each time in order to allow the start of the laptop.

However, it is a couple of days since she decided that now that password is incorrect. After having tried and tried, I finally decided to put the HDD on another computer as external drive in order to continue with my work... but here it is the panic: none of the computers I've tried is actually able to read the data on the disk!

After spending a certain time frozen in panic, I returned to myself and start to ask around to figure out the problem. Someone said that the wrong BIOS password has something to do with the fact that I can not read my disk outside this laptop: you know, it's a kind of average security.

However, the only thing he cares about me is that at the same time, I can't use my laptop and I can't use my data outside of my laptop.

    So, my questions are:
    (1) this model of laptop has this kind of password BIOS-protection also affecting my drive?
    (2) the BIOS password reset will solve the problem?
    (3) how to reset the BIOS password anyway?
    (4) how to recover my data on this hard drive of reading?

    Waiting for any comment.
    Thank you very much!
    Kind regards.

    Hey guys

BIOS password is very important security feature and we can not debate on this subject on a public forum, especially the Forum of Toshiba. Following your logic all stolen but with notebook BIOS password can be unlocked.

  • Cannot access BIOS Tecra M11 - 11K times supervisor password has been programmed

    Hello

I have 10 laptops Toshiba Tecra M11 - 11K here and they all have the same problem. If they lit and I enter in BIOS to make adjustments for the first time, it is good but if I want to go back to the BIOS after a few restart (or even one), what happens when I press F2 is the screen flashes and the computer restarts. It does on all 10 laptops. Someone knows what to do with it? Flashing the BIOS means that I have to configure each one until I can do that, which is somewhat a burden and I have no warranty, it will work. :/

    Thank you

    J

    Stand by.
    What does this mean exactly?
I understand you have made some changes in the BIOS, but after a few restart, you can enter the settings of the BIOS again.

This means you are not able to enter the BIOS or you need to switch the phone OFF, wait a bit and then it still works?

When you set the default settings for the BIOS (if possible) this problem persists?

  • Tecra M3: How to remove a password disk HARD known?

    Greetings, all.
I am a technician in a large enterprise COMPUTING and have been presented with a Tecra M3 which took the user/HDD to set passwords.
I need to redistribute the laptop to another employee, but I need to make sure that no game of passwords of the bios.

Now that I know what is the existing password, I have reset / removed the user password, eliminating 'password =' fast before the start.

However, I find no docco to tell me how to remove the HARD drive password. I am always prompted with "password HARD drive integrated =" command prompt.

Can I put it, I change it. I just can't take it off.
It's probably somewhere simple, I'm not quite familiar with this model.

I should note here: I KNOW WHAT IS THE EXISTING PASSWORD, so I'm not a suspect type "how to bypass a password disk HARD unknown?". I just need to know how to, or remove it completely if the new user-to-be is not invited.

    Hello

You should be able to remove the HARD drive KNOWN password in the BIOS. I put t understand why you aren't able to do.

About your statement, you can set HARD drive password and change the HARD drive password.

I think you should try to remove the HARD drive as the master password BIOS password.
Try to use the Enter key to change the password for the drive HARD and don't anything else type.

In my opinion what one possibility to remove no matter what password and I think he should functions

  • Tecra M5 - how to remove the password?

    Hello.

I just got a M5 from ebay that has a bios password. I know the password, but I want to get rid of it, so that the laptop is not protected.

I installed the password utility, but all options are grayed out (I'm logged on as administrator in windows xp)

Tried to change password in the bios but just get "Suppression refused" (I see only half of the bios options)

    Any ideas?

    See you soon

    > I know the password, but I want to get rid of it, so that the laptop is not protected.
The BIOS password can be removed in the BIOS settings.
I put t understand that it is not possible in your case.

First, you will need to insert the current password.
Then, you will need to insert the new password. If you want to remove the password, press ENTER (leave the new blank password option). Then press again the button ENTER.

Save the changes by pressing F10 and exit the BIOS.
    Usually, this should work.

  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite Pro M10

    Hi guys,.

I searched all over the web to find an answer, but has no success. So I really hope one of you can help out me.

I have a very old Toshiba Satellite Pro M10 with 512 MB in it. The laptop is protected by a BIOS password that I know. However, the problem is that I want to remove the password of BIOS completely. I know this isn't a big deal, but I find it annoying to type the BIOS password over and over again. Mostly because I am preparing this old lady for my oldest daughter. Furthermore, I just installed Windows 7 and it works well, but I have all the original software Toshiba, for example the HW configuration utility. I expect the download somewhere on the net, but unfortunately this is not as simple as that.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you

    Jeroen

    Hey Buddy,

It is easy to remove the BIOS password. Follow the instructions posted by Al - eX.
As new password just enter anything and then the password is removed.

I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on Satellite Pro M10. It is a very old book, and in my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice.
In addition there are no downloads available for this model and Windows 7 on Toshiba page
