Remove 1 2 anti virus

I need help to remove one of the two anti virus that I installed in my computer

Hello

You can try to start it in safe mode and try running system restore to before the installation of the second, assuming that it has been recently.

I tried to remove this virus protection software, but I keep getting these messages who turns essentially the same: "Confirmation of necessary administrator" or "access denied user administrator account needs. Thanks for your response and I apologize for not naming software, but I thought that we were warned not not provide company names, etc.  This program is of Avast, referred to as Avast anti-virus program. Let me clarify that I have not installed this software. It was installed by an outfit without my authorization, which announced themselves as a computer repair shop. I took my laptop to this company for an estimate of cost to repair a hardware problem with the speakers. As you can imagine it's a story for another day.

  • Anti-Virus detects but removes no adware/malware

    Hello

    I have a Readynas RN102 with 6.4.1. firmware. I have more installed anti-virus. Today it started to detect Adware (W32 / Adware.DEZV - 3749 or NsCPUMiner32.exe) and Bitcoinminer Trojan (W64Adware.DEZV - 3749 - NsCPUMiner64.exe). Both were hidden in a file called Info.zip.

Because I couldn't see the files in the management web page / share (even when displaying of hidden files) I changed the anti-virus more to 'Action - Delete' setting and a scheduled scan. He had tested and found the files, but in log files, he repeats that I have to delete the infected file yourself.

    Any help on:

-log file: why does not say what is it deleted the file or not

-display and by deleting files myself manually

-a specific malware / adware removal app for the ReadyNas

    Thanks in advance,

    Jan

    HA Kodhee,

Thank you. I always keep my antivirus updated. So maybe this is the reason why no virus is detected (asuming it was a false alarm as well).

I did what you suggested and selected / unselected files of several cards that were "infected" files It was an hour ago, and I don't have any message. More than my scan that I had planned this evening.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and do a final check tomorrow morning.

I had Cogeco security Anti Virus etc installed on the computer and called and asked them to remove it and when they did... He also took off my e-mail Outlook Express6 program.  After talking to them... they said was probably altered the outlook express and take off the anti virus program him took off the corrupt outlook express as well.  Can someone tell me where to find a download for outlook express6 for windows xp professional?

    Thank you

original title: download of outlook express6

They screwed something. OE is a part of IE6 and both are part of the XP operating system. You can't take off OE is there a standalone download.

Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Add/Remove Windows components. OE is checked and restart.

    If OE is verified:

Right click on the desktop | New | Shortcut. Navigate to "c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe". Click next | Click Finish.  It will be a new shortcut on the desktop.

I would like to know where you are now.

You can use Microsoft Security Essentials in the future with an anti-spyware application [many are recommended in other threads].

    Raz2009,
If you have a known problem with the virus then I suggest to get an antivirus program that you can boot from and run it without starting Windows.

Another option would be to format your drive and do a clean install of Windows (this would remove all the data of your drive).  If you have a backup of your data, this is the best course of action.  If you do not have a backup, you can then do a parallel install (This installs XP in a different folder if you don't lose any data). Here is an article on installation options: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316941

  • Anti Virus Removal of the trial

I have an anti virus test on my computer and it seems consistantly, but I already have a full version of protection. I tried to restore my computer and delete the c drive but nothing works. How can I remove it from my computer?

    Hello

Its sounds like a red program trying to get money and it won't do anything except cause problems.

What is the exact name of the software and which site it refers you?

We can probably provide removal instructions better once we know the answers.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy to detect malware
is often accompanied by a much more difficult to detect and remove the payload. So much better to be too full now

    (1) it is an impossible question to answer.  There are constantly new threats, and constant updates the anti-virus tools.  Find a good source of technical reviews that you like and make your own decision.  This forum is for MSE, one of these tools, it is well noted.

    (2) download and run the safety of MS Scanner and download and install and run Malwarebytes anti-malware free edition to scan your PC.
Yes, both.  And once you are clean, choose a realtime antivirus and install it as soon as POSSIBLE.  (These are both on the scanners in demand, good to control the double and for presumed infections who are ignorant or deactivation of your scanner in real-time).
