  I'm on a MacBook Pro 15 "the retina with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

  I have two admin accounts, an 'old' I do not use and a more current that I use.

  I want to delete the 'old' admin account, but I get an error message: "cannot delete user... account error backup in the home folder for this user."

  Here are the steps I followed:

  1. System Preferences-> users and groups

  2. click on unlock icon; authentication with username and password

  3. click on the 'old' user account and click on the button "-" to remove it.

  4. Select the option "save the home folder in a disk image", then click on remove the user

  5. for the moment, he says 'delete account '.

  Passwords are saved in the Keychain application located in your Utilities folder. You can search for passwords here. Normally when you change the password of an account, it needs to update this info in the keychain also unless you change other information like the name of the server.

  Quit Mail, find the passwords for the incoming server and outgoing for the account. Remove them in Keychain Access. Open Mail and provide the password when asked.

  I was using Content Server as a test environment and not I need to create a prototype of it. But before, I created many types of content, security groups and accounts that I no longer need.
  So I deleted them, but as I can see folder structure of the content server (Vault and weblayout directories) did not change now, and still contain folders named by content types, security groups and accounts that no longer exist.
  Can I just delete these folders from the file system? As stated in textbooks should never access the files directly from the directory of files and change their or the directorey itself.

  Yes, you can go ahead and delete the folders. But first, you need to remove all content itmes
  in the security groups and types of content.

  Always have a back-up and do what ever wants to, you would still be able to restore it.

  If you specify that when AOL user names have been eliminated, you went to your Apple account with that name to AOL for the ID user, and you edited it to a valid email address?   Thank you for your message.  Because it's really a question of iTunes I refer you to http://www.apple.com/au/support/itunes/.  Support you should get it will ensure that all your media will be transferred correctly.  This is a forum for Vista, and many people have different one from the other configurations.  A good answer for a single person on this forum could still lose you some of your files, because the installation program may be different.  Good luck.
