Replacing the 15-N020US screen

I am trying to replace the screen of a laptop 15-N020US HP Clubhouse. In almost every post I've seen, it shows the plastic on both screw plugs. This laptop does not all plastic covers. So I was wondering how this bezel comes off. I don't want something that I had no damage. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi hmsmart,

Here is a video on YouTube that shows how to disassemble a Pavilion TouchSmart 15. The poster of the video starts by removing the bottom and the keyboard and then disconnect the display screen. It leaves the screen on the side until 13:42 mark of the video were it then takes the display part. I hope it's useful.

The part of the screen is LTM14C438, they are very expensive. Can I get a number of different screen (LTM14C433), which is a toshiba 20 a TE2000 pins, and I like that it will work.

No matter which confirm this, thank you, Allan

    Hello

The fact is that the screen and the motherboard are the most expensive parts of the laptop. I put t know if you can use a different laptop screen, but I guess that it s is not possible. You must always use compatible parts and supported and devices.
You can try to contact Toshiba and you can try to ask the opinion but I think that it will recommend to use original Toshiba parts.

  • Replacing the screen satellite U840-10V

    Hi guys,.

My Satellite U840-10V hinge on the right side screen broke when I accidentally dropped the laptop. This happened almost 2 years ago and today he is out, which separates it from the window of the screen. I had this problem temporarily to a nearby repair shop and was advised to contact toshiba to replace the head of screen. my warranty expired in 2013 and I did not apply to it.

Can someone advise the best course of action to replace the screen? I live in ealing, London and am able to go to a provider of services close to who would be able to replace it. I like really this laptop and I would like to replace the screen as soon as possible instead of dishing out money on another new laptop.

    Kind regards

  • Need advice replaces the screen HP Mini 2102

    Hey all,.

I'm fixing a netbook HP Mini 2102 which was abandoned on the ground. The netbook works fine, except that now the screen is a little blurry and washed on the right side. Generally, when a computer screen is upward, trying to replace the converter display card, as was the case with a machine to HP Pavilion dv9000 I fixed recently.

However, after dismatling the computer, I found no such ups on the screen, and after consultation with an HP support assistant very useful during a session of live chat who informed me that it is not a separate inverter Board available for purchase, I have come to believe that I need to replace the entire screen.

If I'm not mistaken, the LCD part number is 589649-001 for this particular model that I am repairing. I created this post to confirm that the ups on this Mini Board can be replaced, and I need to replace the entire LCD screen - less camera, bezel and hinge, which all work fine - in order to solve the display problem.

If you have any other suggestions as to what part I need, or if I have to take a completely different approach to the repair, please let me know before ordering the part of LCD screen.

  • How to replace the screen of laptop DV4-1140go

I replaced the many laptop screens. THS is different & hard!  Doesn't have a window on screen. The screen is like a plastic see through the cover outwards with the sticky substance around it. Any ideas on how to remove the screen?

    Hello:

Sorry I can't help you further with your laptop.

The only screen I already worked on that came from an old nc4000.   Only, I needed to replace the hinges. I had to separate the collar trim around the screen which is held with this Goo.

I have no need to remove the real billboard to replace the hinges.

  • Is it Possible craate an application or an application with the oracle logo screen when we launch an app

    Hello

I am new to Oracle MAF

Can anbody tell me how to remove the oracle logo screen when we launch an application

    Thank you in advance

    Concerning

    Vincent

    Hello.

The start screen is determined by the deployment of the application profile settings. To replace the default splash screen, you will need to produce a series of files PNG of different sizes and pixel density. The real needs of these files are explained in this section of the documentation of the MAF: http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/maf210/mobile/develop-maf/maf-deploying.htm#ADFMF927

Once you have produced the images, simply copy you them to the appropriate resources from the application folder, subfolder and select in the "Images of the Application" section of the profile of the deployment, as shown here.

  • Blue screen in decline after replacing the screen

I got my iPhone 6plus screen replaced at an apple store, earlier this week, and now a random regression a blue screen appears from the top of the screen and goes up and down, disappears, then pops up. Meanwhile, the screen is not sensitive to the touch, but when it stops and I double finger restart my phone several times, it works perfectly fine, then at random again. I've already set up another appointment on the apple store. What is an internal error and apple will charge me to fix this?

It's either a problem with the screen replacement and Apple will not charge your for this or there is also damage to the logic board and you need to replace the entire phone. There will be an extra charge for this.

  • Replaced the cable. Now, the screen does not work. What could be?

The cable coming out of the back of my monitor Apple Thunderbolt Display is fraying. I decided that rather than risk a short at a certain point, I preemptively replace the cable. On iFixit teardown photos, I decided to replace the cable coming out of the back of the screen myself instead of paying almost $200 to get an Apple service provider to do that here in Bangkok. Bought the cable on AliExpress for $12. It replaced. And... no dice. Screen has not come.

    My setup

    [MacBook Air]-[Thunderbolt Display]-[drive Thunderbolt]-[Cinema Display]

with a key USB drive and Ethernet connected to the back of the Thunderbolt display

    Already tried this

    • First impressions were that the cable was defective. But then I noticed Ethernet came the USB has been mounted, Thunderbolt was mounted drive and after a reboot, the movie screen come also. Obviously, the cable has been working very well.
    • Second thought was that I'd neglected to plug some cables that connect the LCD to the main logic board. I checked. Seemed fine.
    • Third was maybe the serial number of the cable was somehow connected to the main logic board. So I put the old cable. Still no screen.
    • Tried to connect the screen with a Thunderbolt external cable, everything worked as well but still no image on the screen.
    • Tried more than 30 seconds and 3 hours disconnected as a "reset" of the screen. No change.
    • Restarted my laptop. No change.
    • Thunderbolt Display well plugged the drive and then into the MacBook, so change the sequence of the devices. No change.
    • Information reports under "Thunderbolt" the entire chain of devices, but under "Graphics/displays" system displays only the internal screen and Cinema Display.
    • Using the newly purchased cable as a Thunderbolt external cable works fine too.

    Question

Does anyone have suggestions on what to try next?

The logic card goes into a sort of locked mode when you replace the cable?

Is there more than 3 flat cables connection + connection to the land between the Panel and main Board?

Although there is no reason to think that this has been, how to test LCD screen still work given all these flat cable connectors?

Note: There is no Apple here store.  Apple authorized service providers are without help. He suggested to replace the cable and the Panel at a cost that is almost the same as the purchase of a new screen.

Some of the cables that connect the LCD to the main logic board, are very short. Careful lifting the LCD, because it will go away with strength cables once that raise you it more than 2 to 3 inches on the side of the camera module.

The shorter cable of all is the LVDS cable. A short cable with gold plated connector. Although I have had reconnected the cable on the side of the logic board, I had wrongly assumed that the other end of the cable was stayed connected because all the band used on. Someone with experience of fixing these things said of his town for this cable to unravel by force and to be sure to check both ends of the cable. When I peeled back the tape, I found that he had indeed been disconnected. Reconnect, fiddling with the tiny workspace to get the logical side of Board of Directors of what properly fixed cable again and we were back in business.

Apple authorized service providers here in Bangkok have quoted me $200 to replace the cable. I ordered the replacement cable Thunderbolt Display off AliExpress for $12.50. It was really simple to replace the cable, just to keep an eye on this darn LVDS cable opening to the top of the screen!

  • After the replacement of my iPhone screen 6, front facing camera does not work.

After the replacement of my iPhone screen 6, front facing camera does not work. The rear camera works fine, but when I switch to selfie cam I saw a still image of what was on the camera back; and on snapchat it simply refuses to move to selfie cam. I check to make sure that all connectors are deep-set. Any suggestions?

If someone else that Apple will replace your screen they screwed up. If Apple has replaced your take screen back to the store.

  • Screen flashing horizontal lines after replacing the RAM

    Hello world

Today, I replaced the original 2 2 GB RAM each with 2 other 4 GB each (Kingston) for better performance.

    I have a Macbook Pro end 2011 15 ", IOS 9.3.1.

I opened the computer it vacuum cleaner very carefully, with the lowest power and then I removed the two RAM.

I'm not new, the machine worked perfectly for 20 minutes, then the screen went black (electricity was running in it, I could see some lights on the bottom), I did close it with the button, turn it on and horizontal lines appeared.

I turn again and nothing has changed. I replaced the new memory with the 'old' and I still have horizontal lines that cross the monitor (white, grey, black).

Any idea of what is happening and how to fix it?

    Thank you in advance!

The external glass is intact, but the actual screen itself is damaged.

It would also be a great help if someone knew the product number of the replacement in this way screen I should be able to buy the right pair.

    Kind regards

    Hey mate,

First of all I must say that replacement of the screen, and the disassembly of the laptop is usually quite complicated and delicate. You must remove a large number of screws, it must be very careful. So it's not easy to replace the screen.
Maybe you can find some instructions if you're looking for with Google

And a replacement screen or number, you can get your authorized service provider. Simply contact the guy and ask for help and they can exchange the screen too.

  • Replacing the screen on Satellite C50-A-1CK

    Hello

The screen of my C50-A-1CK Satellite was recently broke and I need a replacement, but I have no experience with this sort of thing. Editing actually screen won't be a problem (I'm lucky enough to have friends who will fit it free) but I need to buy one and I'm not sure which one to buy.

I'm looking for something around £40 or less if possible, and I'm in the United Kingdom, if a British salesman would be best. I would prefer to get one on eBay, if possible, so I would really appreciate if I could get a link rather than just "oh looking for it and you will find.

I thank very you much in advance!

To be honest, it is not easy to give you some good advice on this. Why? Replacing the screen is rather complicated and almost entire laptop must be disassembled. To do this you need manuals maintenance with explanation step by step how to do this and avoid any damage. This document is not a public document, so I do not know who want to help and how.

If a person without experience and expertise want to do this, can damage your laptop even more. There are many smallholders plastic that can be broken or damaged.

I don't know, but in my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service nearest and ask for help. It costs a little, but it will happen on the vocational track.

Anyway, I don't live in the UK so I don't want to pick you up. You can check ebay UK and search for 15.6 HD 200 CSV LD and if you find a seller contact by phone and check compatibility with your laptop satellite.

  • Replacing the screen on the Tecra A10

    Ladies and gentlemen

Please someone know how to get to a screen on above laptop. I don't see how to get the palmrest and screen separated from the motherboard, but how I get to the screen to replace it, I cannot say.
    Your
    Ian

You need to take off the mask LCD joints and remove the 2 screws (one on the left) and one on the right side. After making the cover of this separate the LCD and cover entire while releasing the latches. Ribbon of glass must be removed.
Unplug the LCD beam and HV operate via the connectors on both sides of the FL inverter and remove FL inverter.
Remove the glass ribbon and unplug the beam of the LCD screen of the LCD unit connector.
In the end, you must remove 4 screws and LCD screen.

It is quite complicated so do gently to avoid damage.
