Replica server not to listen on port 443

Hello

We took a little POC with view 4.6 and we are very happy about it.

Setup consist of very few users in different positions in society (about 10 now) to test the behavior and one view connection server; We are about to upgrade to view 5 and so to ensure the continuity of our users and to learn how to perform this kind of task for the future, that we wanted to add a replica server to be able to update without interruption.

Installing the replica and even if it works I can not connect to the replica with HTTP but HTTPS Server alone and I don't understand why.

The original connection to the server let me choose by the client and it works with the two protocols and in fact I can see that it is listening on both ports using netstat, while the replication server listens on port 80 only.

Windows Firewall is down for the moment to facilitate troubleshooting.

The replica VM server has been deployed using the same model of Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise (ENG) as the initial login server.

In the display manager, we are not forcing the HTTPS connection.

We are not tunneling connections through the server at the moment and we are interested in continuing to work in this way.

We use PCoIP.

Here are my questions:

1. is there a reason why the replica server doesn't allow me to connect with SSL?

2. because we intend to charge the balance two servers, is it possible to see which users are connected to the server that if we aren't tunnelling connections? (I noticed that if we connections tunnell "Security Server" field is filled with every line of every customer in the display manager but if we do not have connection tunnell is right remains empty)

Thank you for your help in advance

1. chances are that you disabled the "use SSL" option in the admin UI before installing the replica, which is a global setting, but had not yet restarted your server connection original change be taken into account, that is why the reply was listening on HTTP only, but the first CS was still on HTTPS. If you had restarted your origin server before you check this box would also be listening on HTTP.

2. No, there is no way in the current version to see the Admin UI which server connection session has been negotiated through if the tunnel is disabled and the PCoIP secure gateway component is not in use. Once the established session is that there is no direct cost to the login server in this mode.

  • How do the 5 server not listening on ports 80 and 443

I want to configure an Apache Server on a Linux virtual machine (using the last VirtualBox) on my Mac running El Capitan 10.11.3.

5.0.15 server is already running on the Mac (and I want to keep it, with the exception of web services). I have disabled the sharing in the web server user interface, but it was not enough, Apache listening ports 80 and 443, prohibiting VirtualBox to listen to them and transmits them to the Linux virtual machine.

So I put comment out these lines in /Library/Server/Web/Config/Proxy/apache_serviceproxy.conf:

    #listen 80

    #listen 443

    8008 #listen

    #listen 8800

    8443 #listen

    8843 #listen

After a restart, Apache seems not to listen to ports 80 and 443 more. However, VirtualBox does not become the listener. I tried this command in the Mac terminal:

    -i sudo lsof: 80

and nothing has been returned, suggesting that something in OS X still prevents VirtualBox to listen to ports 80 and 443. If I try to convey some random host port of Mac to port 80 in the virtual machine, then I can my virtualized server access from Safari on the Mac host via the custom port said. But I would use the standard port 80.

    Any help really appreciated.

Instead of commenting, assign a specific IP for the server listen instead of * (which means that all the IP addresses). This is only to the server on port 80 and 443 in this config file. I sometimes give an additional IP address to the Ether. Your Linux Machine can connect to the second IP address or the first initial assigned to your server depending on your configuration.

Server is very aggressive in it's use ports, he leaves so all services to operate, even if you have the use of ports to other IP addresses.

As far as I know that the TOSHIBA Mobile Extension3 for Windows XP is responsible for the good condition of the market of the docking station.

In sharepoint server 2010, several sharepoint sites are run under port 443 with different domain names.

I configured 1 LIVE ID certificate for one of our sharepoint sites would like to know can I use the same certificate for other sites too or I need to install other certificates LIVE ID to access other sites.

How can I get prod LIVE ID certificates are available for free as nexus offers two certificates INT and PROD (x 509 certificate) or do I need to buy.

If I need to buy where can I buy it go?

    Hi ppdremsadm,

Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums as it is related to the configuration of Live ID in Sharepoint 2010. It should be better in the Forums of Windows Sharepoint.

Please ask your question in products and technology SharePoint forums to improve assistance in this regard.

How can I make sure that any firewalls (versions of software or hardware) does not block port 443 to access?

    Hi Anna_753,

Usually, you would receive messages from any program if it is impossible to access the port.

If you want to check if the port is accessible, then you will need to check the firewall settings.

Each firewall has its own parameters for ports of the computer.

  • HTTPS (port 443) for router RVS4000

    Hi all

I have two servers - one running MS exchange and other running a crm platform and both must be access via https. On the router - I've linked https to an address ip and router refuses to accept the same port 443 to another ip address binding. I'd appreciate any help I can get to solve this.

    The organization chart is attached.

    Hello!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have same port simultaneously transmitted to multiple internal IP addresses - imagine even if this setting would be possible, how the router will know who to ask what internal server to transmit from the port where the request has been received the same?

However, with RVS4000 you can perform the following operations - use TCP 443 for Server1 and say that TCP 4443 for server2.

Assume that your servers have the following IP address allocation:

    Server1 - 192.168.8.100

    Server2 - 192.168.8.101

In RVS4000, go to Firewall-> simple Port Forwarding

Set it up as on the screenshot:

After that you can access from the Internet both servers using the following URL:

    Server1 - https://wan_ip_address

    Server2 - https://wan_ip_address:4443

I hope this will solve your problem!

    Best regards

  • 11g will not be 'listen' SQLDeveloper

I am an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College and I teach again a SQL Fundamentals courses this semester. The teaching course is not a problem. The problem is to configure an Oracle environment that students can access. I don't have these skills, and Oracle is a very complex environment.

I installed Oracle 11 g on a Windows machine in the computer lab. It's an XP box, but last year students were able to use the installation of Oracle 10 g on it well on her in a nearby classroom. It seemed to install OK, and I was able to connect using SQL * more. I went to one of the lab workstations and open SQLDeveloper, since that was what the students preferred to use year last to talk to the database. In SQL Developer, I put in the following connection information:

    Connection name: LO Server
    Username: System
Password: the one that worked when I installed >
HostName: does not matter but it is good >
    Port: 1521
    SID: oracle

That's when I got the mysterious Developer SQL error when I tried to connect by pressing the Test button of the SQL Developer:

"Status: failed - Test has failed: IO exception: the network adapter could not establish the connection.

After some research on the web and the discussion with another instructor, we believe that the problem comes from Oracle database configuration, not with SQL Developer. We are able to log into the control panel of database via a web interface of my computer without problem. Our best estimate is that Oracle must be configured to "listen" on port 1521 to 'see' applications for SQL Developer. I found a utility Oracle which supposedly opens the ports, in 1521, was added, but it doesn't seem to work. I have also modified a listener.ora file and added the port, but did not know the exact syntax because it does not work. We stopped and restarted Oracle, even rebooted the machine, hoping he would go away. No luck.

Oddly enough, we ran SQL Developer on the same computer as the database and it gave the same error. It's one of the reasons why we think it's a configuration issue with the database.

I would appreciate any idea that you can provide. I have to learn from mid-August, and it is something that would be probably obvious to a person with the right skills seems to be all that I need trouble. The College doesn't have any support contract with Oracle that I am aware, that they use for most SQLServer. (If there is a way to get free Oracle support, please let me know.)

Developer SQL can connect two ways

    1. with Java (how you try)

    2. with your Net80 and that one needs a tnsnames.ora

Developer SQL will use the tnsname.ora in the Oracle home. But since you have two sb92075 was right (again). There might be a conflict, but you try a java connect so I doubt it.

  • Site Web Server not accessible via the internet

    Hello Apple community,

I had a problem with the.app Web sites, where my site Internet (FQDN) is accessible via the network internal, but not accessible through the internet. I have port ports 80 and 443 passed on my firewall and I can see the ports open via nmap on an external connection.

When I browse the site via http, I get redirect to 443 then it just resets and I get no error page. Internally, the page redirects to 443 and loads fine with the popup of trust initial cert (self-signed cert) that I then store to my keychain and loading the page well. I get no this pop up via an external network.

Accessibility is accessible by 80 (green circle icon) but not of 443 for reasons I can't understand.

I already tried to remedy the situation of the measures:

Create a new self-signed cert to use. (same results)

Disable ssl and disable redirection. (causes a load error in the browser)

Wiped the OS reinstall OS X El Capitan and.app. (same results)

Checked the port forwarding on my firewall Meraki 15 times (looks good)

Disabled the feature IPS of the PPE on the Meraki (same results)

Maybe I'm just on something? I hope someone out there can help.

    Thank you!

Well, thought about it. < bangs head >.

ATT Uverse uses port 443 for flow towards Wireless HD receivers in the House. There is a way to change the port it uses, and I'll try and do it later and post my results in case someone else is having the same problems.

Thinks... "Why the hell ATT would use a common port for Wireless HD? SMH.
