• Recent Ms update causes of lag when you use win + L, alt + tab to switch apps or ctrl + alt + delete

  Lately, we updates Microsoft has introduced some lag in my system.  I did a restore of last week, the 10th and it was fixed, and the last round of updates automatic introduced the problem again.  Basically, here's the question: when I hit win - L to lock the machine, I get a good 10-20 second delay before it crashes, even with nothing running.  Same with ctrl-alt-delete, or when I alt - tab to go a game of running a browser open.  Now I realize that some of them are more intensive applications in resources, but I could do all these things before the updates almost instantly.  I don't know what are those who have caused the it.  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

  For the record, I use Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit on a Core2Duo built home 3 GHz with 8gigs of ram box.  GeForce 8800 GTX w / 768 MB of ram at 1600 x 1200 on the screen.  So go to a window of the Explorer browser should not really be a problem.

• Themes AERO causes severe lag in web browsers.

  I use two web browsers (IE11 & Chrome) and when any AERO theme turned on these browsers starting to lag after a while (tabs opening/close in 2 frames, scrolling offset and available to any Web site becomes lag), I can fix it by minimizing and optimizing their, but very quickly it becomes boring because it could happen several times in a few minutes or more.

  If I change to Windows Classic theme - it does none of this.

  What could be the cause of this?

  Conf: i7 2.4 Ghz 3630QM, 8 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GT650M, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.

  EDIT: I noticed also when lag appears miniature preview animation of bar tasks also seems slow, are not smooth as it usually is.

  Have you tried to evaluate your computer in Windows Experience Index?

  I would also recommend note you computer first in the Windows experience index. The goal for you the rating system is it running a Direct3D Aero evaluation and it can solve the problem with Windows Aero features. To do this, please follow these steps.

  1. Click Start, right-click computer and click Properties.
  2. Click on the Windows experience index in the notationsection.
  3. Click re-run the assessment.

  Try these steps and check if the problem persists. Post back with your results for assistance.

  what firmware do you use?  You can update or it with the latest firmware reflash?  who update the executable and all system files.

  How can I use the option box of MISTLETOE in my script for Motion Blur lights or leave it?

  This box has been generated in my GUI Panel for example I ve:

  How I can ask whether or not it is checked and use this information.

  For this example, I want to ask "if I intend to use motion blur. And if so, the Motion Blur in the timeline panel button should set on IT.

  I found a code for the shy button, but nothing for the MB button. (xxx.hideShyLayers = true ;) )

  To get the State of the check box, you would use:

  checkMB.value

  which returns a Boolean, true if checked, false otherwise.

  that is, if (checkMB.value == true)

  Since the if statement tests only if the argument is true or false, or, you could just do

  If (checkMB.value)

  To set the directional blur of the model, which also requires a Boolean value, you could do:

  myComp.motionBlur = checkMB.value;

  The motionBlur the CompItem object attribute is covered on page 56 of the CS6 Scripting Guide pdf.

  I am looking for a way to make a "Yes" box when checked, cause specific text fields switch of the not required required.

  You could repeat the line several times, for example

  getField("Text2").required = event.target.value = "Yes"? true: false;

  getField("Text3").required = event.target.value = "Yes"? true: false;

  getField("Text4").required = event.target.value = "Yes"? true: false;

  etc.

  Simply change the names of the fields to your form.

  There may be better ways to generate scripts, but the works above.

• CC was last updated caused brush lag on all versions of Photoshop.  How can I fix?

  Since the update of last week at CC, I noticed a decrease in performance on all versions of Photoshop, I installed, CS6 and CC.  Many of the brushes I by default Photoshop and my own custom sets, lag horribly at the establishment.  My system didn't already have this problem that I can tell.  Just to be sure, I tested Photoshop on other versions, a macbook pro and a near top of the line PC.  The lag occurs on all systems.  I tried drawing with just the mouse and the Cintiq 12WX and responsiveness is the same.

  For the reasons of this case, here are the specs of my main work computer.  All the drivers are up to date, as is the operating system:

  Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40 GHZ

  RAM: 8 GB

  Operating system: Windows 8 (64-bit)

  Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

  Hard drive: Samsung 830 256 GB Solid State (where my player scratching's)

  I tried to change the settings of OpenGL and disabling altogether on all generations, including this one. There is no change in the shift of the brushes.

  I also tried to uninstall completely and re-installing Photoshop CS5 and CC on my work computer, which still has not resolved the problem.

  I'm a freelance artist and this sudden loss of performance puts a cramp in my time and possibly in my income stream, if I can't solve this problem quickly.  Please advise!

  Well, after a completely useless tech support call, I managed to fix it myself by checking the attributes of each brush dragged one by one.  As far as I know, almost all troublesome brushes share the attribute of having their game of spacing to 1%.  Change the spacing of a higher percentage setting the lag helped tremendously.

  What is the dialog even make an appearance? Or should he behave as if the dialog box is there but invisible?

  If the former, I would say that smells like a bug somewhere. But if it's the latter attempt, pressing and holding your Windows key on the keyboard. Then press the arrow key to the left a couple of times. Will be under certain conditions of the dialog boxes appear but be out of visible space. If that happened, this key combination should coax the window in the visible area.

• User account control dialog box causes PCoIP disconnect

  I am to evaluate VMware View 4.01 with vSphere 4.0 U1 on the backend.   I created a pool of offices of composer with windows 7 machines but kept the customer close every time I tried to do some administrative functions on the virtual computer.  It wasn't until I have change the RDP connection made to my sense of disconnection when the dialog box control UAC popped up.

  Replace the pilot SVGA2 WDDM driver, which should solve the problem.
