  • Click Mozilla Firefox in the list

  • Make sure that you do not remove personal settings etc.
  • Install version 28.

  There is a calculated member ASO which retreival in reports is time consuming.

  Optimization measures proposed to reduce the wait times in OBIEE.

  PS - We have integration Hyperion OBIEE in place already.

  The heads-up on the improvement of the performance would be a great help.

  OBIEE has many ways optimized:

  1. you can use the OBIEE cache management, hitting the first time the ESSBASE CUBE and the second time the OBIEE hit the cache, it improve your processing time.

  2. in your maybe views that you have limited the main information, I mean, OBIEE is a web application bi and if you try to pretend to get a lot of lines, this might give you some problems, as a work around you could limit your opinion, in your 'LINES PER PAGE' properties, and as a work around if you want to get a large amount of data that you download it.

  

  2. If points 1 and 2 shall not apply to your needs, perhaps to think, to use the cache of essbase optimization

  Partitioning your disks for ASM configuration as 'A' might make sense. If you lose one disk, you have the discs to another.

  'B' totally make sense if you have lost the disc that you have lost all group ASM and you need to change this with something like 'C '.

  But obviously you need redundancy ASM configured appropriately.

  Adding a MV rewrite does not alter the raw performance of a cube. The only reason to add - it is if you want to write your SQL queries against relational base tables and the database have rewrite your queries on the cube. If you are able to query the views of cube directly, so there is no particular advantage to a rewrite MV.

  Adding a refresh only MV has benefits even if your queries using views of cube. A refresh only MV following the lapse of the cube and allows you to run updates of 'fast', which can be useful if you are only changing a handful of lines in your fact table.

• Report on the export time - how to export all my clients?

  We have about 35,000 clients in our database of BC.

  I'm trying to export for use in a direct mail campaign (and other reports for other reasons), but export always expires.

  The reports are very simple; That is to say.

  1. CRI-> Add customer relationship
  2. Select customers (Contacts & companies)
  3. Select the Type of the default ID address, name of the customer, CRM
  4. Next
  5. Generate report (no filter)
  6. About 33 000 results contained in the report.
  7. I then select Export in CSV or Excel report and it will sit there during up to an hour or more and nothing to do.

  Notes:

  • I keep the live session by having a session open in another tab.
  • Have tried multiple browsers and internet connections.
  • I have even filtered the results (based on create date) and same problem occurred with only 15,000.

  How can I export this report and other simple reports, that I need?

  If the file contains a large number of files so it takes time, but as you mentioned that divide the records also did not help I suspect something wrong.

• Other photos reported export catalog

  I made a small mistake... At some point, I accidentally marked all my photos. I have not noticed this and continue to do a lot of work related metadata. At the time wherever I noticed that everything has been marked, it was too late... I made many changes to make it useful to simply go back to an earlier version of my catalog.

  So now I have a backup of my catalog with correct photos marked, and my most recent catalogue which I use with a lot of new metadata.

  There where 950 photos marked, a little too much hand flag... Is there a clever way to remove photos that I've accidentally marked?

  Maybe correct export with indicator of the photo, import of them which means that there are duplicates and then apply the indicator on the originals of these duplicates... I'm just thinking out loud. Any help is appreciated.

  Unfortunately, when you import a catalog, you cannot import only duplicates of photos that already exist in the catalog.

  It is possible to retrieve the settings of the indicator of the old catalog, but it involves a number of steps, and unless you are very confident in commutation of catalogues, using filters, reading and writing of metadata, etc., it is probably easy to make a mistake and still most living things.  Here are the steps:

  0 make a backup of your catalog and all its photos (very important in the case where you screw up!).

  1. in your current catalog, choose all of the photographs, disable the filter bar, expand all stacks, select all the photos and metadata > save metadata to file.

  2. a copy of the backup catalog and open the copy.

  3 copy, select all photographs, disable the filter bar, expand all the chimneys and select all the pictures that are marked by using the library filter bar.

  4. do metadata > read metadata from file. This will ensure that the copy of the backup catalog will have all of the metadata and settings of the current catalog for pictures with indicator of development.

  5. in the metadata Panel, select the preset in the EXIF.  In the user comments field, make sure it is empty and then define that it is 'XXXFLAGGEDXXX '.  If the user comment field is not empty, it means at least that some photos with indicator have a certain value in this field. So try another little used IPTC field of IPTC Headline or title of IPTC work.

  6. do metadata > metadata record in a file (once again, with all the photos flagged selected).  Now, all photos marked in the copy of the backup catalog will have "XXXFLAGGEDXXX" written in their metadata.

  7. open the current catalog.

  8. Select all photographs, develop all batteries and select all the marked photos and remove them the flag.

  8. Select all images, disable the bar filter, select all photos and make metadata > read from a file.

  9. in the library filter bar, perform a text filtering "Any searchable field contains XXXFLAGGEDXXX.  Which will result in all the photos that have been reported in the old catalog.

  10. Select all of these photos and mark.

  I usually zoom out the page (press CTRL + 0 a few times) and then take a screenshot with the application of the awesome screenshot for Firefox or Chrome. It allows to edit and crop the image down to just the email and then save it. We send some very long e-mails and it generally works well enough to enter the entire email, or if it's really long just the section with links. I hope this helps!

  I can define another "Power Point of export" script to run when you select the menu if "Diadem report' drop-down"Export PowerPoint"a file?

  I know that this menu using the template file to "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2012\Resource\PowerPointTemplate.ppt.    My problem is that I cannot 'customize' the PPT template enough to get some items to position correctly on the slides.

  What I did change the script "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2012\Examples\Documents\REPORT_Layout_to_PowerPoint.VBS" with the changes I need, set the model to use ppt.  Run the script, and it works as it should.   (This script is not related to the pull down menu function - I maybe something set wrong somewhere).

  I want to get out of having to open this script whenever I want to create a ppt.  I'd rather select the menu drop-down.  Do the traction to the low 'export PowerPoint' use a defined script?

  My use is for the ".csv" files and works perfectly when read and load the files. But what would be really nice if I could somehow put the data in these files in their appropriate report templates and then export this report to a file '.pdf '.

  Your VBScript use cannot be called "red" DIAdem orders  The VBScript host that uses the use contains only basic functions VBScript more some specific commands to use, but none of the rest of orders DIAdem.

  You need to use a VBScript DIAdem script to load the data file, load the layout and save the PDF file.

• DBwalker reports [invalid time format] in the Configuration table

  Unit 4.0.5. Clean install with restoration of DIRT. DBwalker was executed before restoring with 0 error, now it reports the following:

  From the controls of general system *.

  Check the LastModifiedTime column for all of the entries in the Configuration table

  problem of format of Date/time of 0: (Error) in the Configuration table:-2147467259 (format of time not valid [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server driver]). See the LastTimeModified column for all entries in the Configuration table for the correct format.

  You will see other reports of this here - the stamp of date/time Configuration table is only used for failover (i.e. If systems can keep these parameters in harmony in all of boxes). If you use integrated security, and get this, then there is a problem. If you do not use this security, then there is nothing to worry about here.

  You can manually update the LastModifiedTime column for the rows in this table if you want to go further without worrying about the error. See the release notes for this bug for more details:
