Required, not found HDA Audio Bus driver. XP SP3

I run a computer custom made with Windows XP SP3. Under other devices with a yellow question mark is multimedia Audio Controller, through the PNP ID, I discovered it was Analog Devices ADI 198 x integrated Audio. I found a driver (not sure if it was good) and when I went to install the error "HDA Audio Bus Driver required and not found do not" pop up. There is no Bus Microsoft UAA HDA Audio driver also under system devices. I appreciate all the help you give me. It feels like I tried all the solutions, but I'm open for anything at this point. Thank you!

I appreciate your help theplectrum! I went to the Intel Web site to find a driver of Ethernet controller, so I ran the driver update utility. He found a driver of sound for me as well. I installed and rebooted and now I have sound!

  • T60 no audio; No HDA audio bus driver

    Hi all

I have a T60 with a fresh install of XP Pro. Everything seems to work well except for audio. Audio controls XP show no audio device. I reloaded the audio driver (77a224ww.exe) files. When I try to complete the process by running Setup.exec in the audio folder, I get the message "the bus driver audio HDA is required and not found". The only driver files HDA that I could find are for SP1; the attempt to load these results in an error message indicating that existing files are newer than the files I try to load.

  • No sound! Driver of Bus Audio HDA required, not found

I recently re-installed Windows XP on my computer Dell Dimension desktop and downloaded every update is available from Windows Update. All right, except that I have no sound.  In the device manager under "Other devices" with a yellow question mark is multimedia Audio Controller.  I know that I need the ADI 198 x integrated Audio driver I can get from the manufacturer's website, but when I try to download it I get the following error:

Driver of Bus Audio HDA required, not found

I have tried everything to solve this problem, including the automatic adjustment on this site (which has not detected a problem) AND download a patch for Windows XP, which is available here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111.  The problem is that there is no fix for XP with Service Pack 3 users! At this point, I am at my wits end and nothing seems to work.  I appreciate any help you could give me. It feels like I tried all the solutions, but I'm open for anything at this point. Thank you!

If you will forgive the play on words, using MS Update is not the way the most up to date to get the latest drivers for your audio device.

You go directly to the Dell support site and get your machine of Dimension, and then download the necessary drivers. If you get an error message during the installation you may have inadvertently downloaded the wrong driver.

Try again or re-post giving Dell Dimension model number.

    See you soon,.

  • XP Home SP1 - MS Universal Audio Architecture HD audio bus driver installation.

High definition audio bus driver MicroSoft Universal Audio Architecture is required before you install the original audio driver after reinstalled XP Home SP1 operating system, on a Compaq Presario.

I downloaded the MS folder and unpacked in a driver's record, but document text tips are only for a network situation.

Help would be appreciated with a few questions:

    (1) is there an easier way to install the UAA driver?

    (2) is there a better driver available or other if I install SP2 I downloaded ready to install offline?

    (3) I believe that it is not safe to use the internet again as the firewall is not sure in SP1. and

    (4) if it is safe to use internet with SP1 which free antivirus could I use?

A simpler way to install MS UAA & the Realtek Audio driver becomes it while one of the Realtek site.

    Hi, Bob:

It's all part of this card reader controller stuff.

I suggest that you do a right click on any card reader devices and select uninstall.

If there is a check box to uninstall the driver, these boxes too.

Restart the PC and if the drivers do not correctly install, download and reinstall the card reader driver.

  • Equium L40 - 10Z - Microsoft UAA for High Definition Audio bus driver need

Toshiba virtual sound doesn t work as well. I accidentally uninstalled the driver and now it says device PCI and tells me to insert the disk MICROSOFT UAA BUS DRIVER for HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO but I n t I.

It s been driven crazy and I don't know what to do.
    Please help me!

    Hello

first of all, make sure that you have installed all the important windows updates. All the updates on your system? Ok.

Please visit the www.realtek.com site and download the latest driver for realtek HD sound cards. This driver WORKS 100% because I had a similar problem and after I installed the authentic realtek drivers, I had no problem with the sound.

Hope this works for you, too.

  • device modem on high definition audio bus driver is lost and can not download it. Means

This does not allow the CD to play

    Hello

    1. What's happening while you're trying to read a disc?

    2. is it works much earlier?

    3. you get any error message?

4 have have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?

Please follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Method 1: Run Microsoft Fixit from following link and check.

Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314060

    Registry warning

  • OS not found on the c: drive, cannot start windows

Today, I tried to restart my laptop and all of a sudden, they won't let me restart. It keep telling me that I can't or my hard drive is too small. and I tried all the option, even tried to restore my c: drive, but then he told me that I have to choose: full system restore:.

However, full system restore wasn't in one of my options and after that I dropped to restart the laptop want to just start over my windows, but then I can't do more because in the Windows error recovery just an option that is recovery tools, it doesn't have the choice as boot the system normally.

So now I can't enter to windows or restart my computer, how do I get into my windows again? Help, please. :(

    Hello

    1. What is the exact error message you get?

    Method 1:
I suggest you try the steps from the following link

Windows Vista or Windows 7 unbootable, and the Startup Repair tool does not resolve the problem
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/934540

Method 2: go to the BIOS (Basic Input Output system) Setup, & change the switch setting between AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) and IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics), SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) and the drive controller is restarted. If it solves your problem, the driver for the HARD disk (HDD) is corrupted.

IMPORTANT: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Method 3: Your hard drive is damaged to the point that it cannot even recognize that Vista has been installed on it. If you have a Windows Vista installation disc, you can try running chkdsk to fix the HARD disk; you need to restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc.

    a. Insert the installation disc and restart your computer.
    b. click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.
    c. If prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

Note: If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change your computer's BIOS settings. For more information, see check the link for the BIOS: frequently asked questions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/BIOS-frequently-asked-questions

    d. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    e. click on repair your computer.
    f. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    g. in the System Recovery Options menu, click command prompt
    h. type chkdsk /f / r and press ENTER.

    Important:
when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

This will perform a disk check and perhaps recover the system. CHKDSK can repair problems related to bad sectors, lost clusters, reticulate files and directory errors

Method 4: I suggest you run /ScanOs, /FixBoot commands from following link:

How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows
