• FPGA FIFO (reset and stop) release

  I have a question regarding the release of FIFO.  In VI, I use for the collection of data through DMA FIFO, before collecting all loop, I use FPGA reset and after the while loop, I use FIFO.stop.  I have attached the picture.  However I think it is the last great of data I have collected and wrote in a text file of a single keystroke, appears in the second run, after I stop vi (by Boolean JUDGMENT in vi) and then restart the vi.  Seems the data remained in a certain part of the FIFO and has not been emptied by RESET or FIFO. STOP the service.  Is there something that I did wrong?  Is there some FPGA or the vi setting I know not?

  OOPS. I solved the problem.  It has nothing to do with the FIFO.  I need to empty the table at the end of execution so that it cannot be read and written to the file that I use for recording data.  Thank you very much anyway.

• MacBook Pro Late 2011 startup questions - SMC reset necessary after each shut down.

  I was asked to look at a friends end 2011 Macbook Pro.

  Initially, it seemed dead. No power, no response. I did the Shift + Command + control + Power to try to reset the SMC nothing helps.

  I opened the back and disconnected the battery and the magsafe. I help the power button down for 5 seconds. reconnected the dough tried power on and it didn't work until I plugged the magsafe. Ah ha I thought it, BUT. Once started it works very well, some check everything looks good and battery shows healthy with 70% of load.

  I restart the machine and it starts fine. HOWEVER. I stop the machine and I'm back to square one. Power supply photo and battery connected.

  So I rinse and repeat. battery disconnect power hold button wait 5 plug in back and then turn it on. As before it works only after the power supply was ALSO connected. to test this situation I tried again without connecting the battery and just the power supply. Since then only the battery was in, nothing until that I plugged the battery ALSO.

  So the Macbook will start only after a stop if the battery and power are both removed, button / help for 5 then BOTH the power and battery are reconnected.

  I've seen people with similar questions but no one seems the specific symptoms that it requires this reset each STOP but restarts not on the list.

  Clues, help, correct?

  You have any 3rd party programs that you have installed on the device?

  This is a new feature or you've had for a while?

  Try a warm reset to stop every 3 rd party applications to see if it solves the problem. You will find the warm reset procedure on the link below for the hard reset procedure.

• Tour of pc during the reset of the ACS,

• Why did log_archive_dest_state_2 showing as "RESET".

  While making a few changes to move our database awaiting production, I first affect our primary log_archive_dest_state_2 DAVID.
  Then, I confirmed that it has been defined as DAVID.
  
  Then, I stop our rescue database and all of its files moved to new locations, change the database for locations, and he started upward in editing mode.
  
  So, I went back to our primary database and tried to restore the log_archive_dest_state_2 to ACTIVATE.
  Even if he has accepted my order when I checked it, I found that the value has been set to 'RESET' (instead of ENABLE).
  
  I confirmed newspapers were functioning normally and everything was fine with no gap.
  
  I think that this has something to do with our DG broker who is much more trouble that it's worth, especially since we do not use FSFO and we only have a standby database.

  What I know about RESET is, if you want to use the default value of the parameter that was changed, you must reset it.

  I think you changed DAVID and after reset it stop broker (assumption).

• Can't reboot iMac issues Finder in El Capitan

  I had some problems with an iMac running El Capitan. The question seems to be Finder, specifically. I can't stop it. I tried to let it stop by itself from one day to the next without result.

  Occasionally, I get this message: the screenshot below is Dutch but said something along the lines of:

  Your Mac is off not because Finder could not be stopped. Please leave Finder to continue.

  

  

  I tried many things

  • I tried shutting it down with a hard reset (button / stop and a shutdown of the terminal command) and reboot.
  • I tried to drive in recovery mode repair,
  • I tried to reset the NVRAM.
  • I tried to stop Finder with the usual suspects: Force Quit, killall Finder .

  The latter does something, but certainly not what I expect:

  

  

  It seems that Finder left, is no longer in the list activity monitor. He raises with terminal command open . user's home folder gives the error:

  LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -600...

  It is reproducible in the sense that it always happens on an iMac. I don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions?

  Outdated software for a Tablet Wacom can prevent the closing. If you no longer use the device, please remove the software. Otherwise, update the latest version of the Web site of the manufacturer.

  After following the instructions on the removal link above, you may also need to open the users and groups in system preferences, select the login items tab and remove all Wacom related items. It is because the uninstall program is defective.

  Back up all data before making any changes.

• Satellite Pro A40 - overheating message

  My A40 has been left on a bed - air fan has been blocked. I have stripped and cleaned the fan and the heatsink, and reassembled. Now it works for a few minutes then the error message "The CPU is overheating stop please" is using XP Home.

  I check the air inlet and the fan turns - hot air that comes out but not excessively hot. Is there a hardware reset to stop this message or permanent damage to be made?

  When you turn on the MBP, the OSX did an audit of the DVD player.  It's normal.  Otherwise it should not do.

  Hello, I've updated firmware for 4.1.202.33573 (the previous was 4.1.106.31982) and after that, I can not connect my Lenovo ix2 using different web browsers. After you type the user name and password and clicking "login" nothing happens for 1 + hour but appears only "processing...". "message on background greyed. After more than an hour of "processing...". "it appears the error message:" impossible (get/read) asked for information "(excuse me risk of errors in the translation of Polish messages in English). After updating firmware also the power and reset buttons stopped working. By pressing or holding the button market / stop has no effect as pressing reset with a PIN.   X 200 w / ban on Win7. This morning worked fine. Disconnected x 200 anchor station correctly this morning and put into hibernation, as usual. X 200 returned, dropped in the docking station:

  -external mouse

  -external keyboard

  -docking station speakers

  AND - on the side left of the dock, where the UN-dock lever is, all three are lit: green arrow to the left to release the button, the green arrow to the right of the logout button and indicator of red stop to the right of the logout button.

  I performed a variety of functions of reset: restarted, stop, unplugged the keyboard/mouse [they work when plugged directly into x 200] - all without success.

  I just saw that a BIOS however was released in December 2010, so I'm going to level it, but really can't see that that would create this freakout. Help!

  UPDATE 1:

  BIOS update [3.17] - no change.

  -apparently the docking station is simply no power ports since
  -no light on the keyboard
  -drive does not

  Apparently, it's a question of power. Passthrough [monitor] ports work fine, but those who are in need of power are not. I removed the battery of the X 200 then moored at ban - booted and all the devices work. What causes such a problem?

  After you boot the system without the battery in the X 200, I stop. Then put the battery in the X 200, has started up and all is golden. Crazy! I hope that this does not become a regular occurrence - my hair maybe go white even faster than it already is!
