Resolve namespace conflicts

I have a column in one of my paintings with an index, whose name is, say TABLE_IDX1v1. TABLE_IDX1v1 is not the name, I gave, it was originally TABLE_IDX1, but I think the Data Modeler think that there is already a name index, so it adds the v1, but I can't find it anywhere. Is there a way to search all indexes through a relational model to determine where the conflict?

Hello

I fear that you have reached a bug (21486154), we have identified recently (since this forum message: Datamodeler generates a letter from version in index Version 4.1.1.888 )

The problem occurs if the Index model includes a component {seq nr} (but no {} or {column abbr} component column).

If the Table has a primary key, and then after the table is modified using the properties of the table editor, the first clue ends with v1 or v2, v3,... suffix.  (Other than the first index are not affected.)

Until this bug is fixed, the solution would be to delete or change the pattern of the Index (and explicitly set the name of the new index that you create).

(The model Index can be changed by selecting the properties of the node browser for your design, in the settings > naming Standard > page templates in the design properties dialog box.)

Alternatively, you could go back to use an older version 4.0 of the Data Modeler.

(Version 4.0.3 can always be downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/datamodeler/downloads/dm-downloads-403-2528264.html .)

Rather than move the files using the operating system and then 'find' files, use the display of files in the Project Explorer, right-click on the files to move, and then select "move the disk.

This will move the file and update the project at the same time.

  • Resolve the conflict of data type of TestStand pragmatically in CVI

    Hello

I'm porting a UI for the 2010 ICB/TestStand.  My problem with the badly planned spread data types defined custom.  While I can handle the MyTypes.ini and StationGlobals definitions, sequences that we are loading are originally the dialog box 'Type to the Type of conflict'.  The sequences that are loading have been created in previous versions of TestStand (3.1 and 4.0 for the most part).  The main reason why a 'conflict' is detected because the data types of the sequences can either have different indicators (for example, "modified") or updated dates.  The structure of the types are ALWAYS the same, so there is no danger by choosing the "wrong" data type  However, given that the "currently loaded" Type is one that "must" always be used, it would be great if the resolution could be resolved so that the operator never has to see the dialog box.  In our environment of manufacturing of these dialog boxes are considered errors.

There are hundreds of files in sequence that could be affected.  The process to go through each of them individually and setting data types would be impractical (really, out of the question).

I use TSUI_ApplicationMgrOpenSequenceFile() to open the sequence and can not find a way to settle the conflict resolution to automatically choose the "currently loaded.  Please let me know if there is a way to do it, and if so, provide an example.  Any other suggestions you might have would be welcome.

    Thank you

CS4 on Mac. I have a few items I'd like to consolidate, but doing so causes me problems regarding the layout of objects. Is there any way I can, without using layers, 'group' elements for a single purpose (i.e. the application new color fills) but still no need to have them all before or back all?

    Group always will reorganize them.

You can make a selection and then save the selection.

If all you want to do is Recolor specific colors, take a look at global color chart or use the function "Recolor art.

  • Query regarding namespaces

    Hello
I am quite new to XML format. Last day, I read on namespaces. I read that they are used to resolve name conflicts. Is there another reason to use? Another question that came in my mind was this: suppose that I write the following text: -.

    <? XML version = "1.0"? >
    < root xmlns:ns1 = "http://www.abc.com.
    xmlns:ns2 = "http://www.abc.com" >

    < ns1:name > CBA < / ns1:name >
    < ns2:name > XYZ < / ns2:name >

    < / root >

In the example XML document above, ns1 and ns2 refer to the same URL. Then there will be an error, or it will mean that the two name tags reside in the same namespace? Could you help me with some links where I can study the namespaces?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    with
    xample
    as
    (select xmltype('
    ABC
    XYZ
    ') x
    from dual)
    select extract(x, '/root/ns1:name', 'xmlns:ns1="http://www.abc.com"')
    from xample

    As a result:

    ABC
    XYZ

So yes, both of these are in the same namespace.

There are definitive sources on namespaces

If a photo (jpeg) file that is located in the 'Library of Photos-> Masters' folder is modified directly, Photos detects the change without rebuilding the library?

Once the change is detected, how to resolve the conflict? Is the iCloud version or local is a priority?

PS I know that master files inside the photo library are not intended to be touched at all, but I'm curious to know how the Photos handles this situation.

No - that will be corrupted library and cause data loss - you should never make any changes to the content or the structure of a database SQLite as Photos (iPhoto and) using external programs

Photos will not detect the change - it will simply be problems with your library forever

And reconstruction will not solve this intentional corruption

  • Could not resolve the confilict in project

In my project I have a global variable VI. The project tries to load this VI from a copy of a project, similar but different on my hard drive, to my annoyance, so I added a copy of the global to the right folder and then it added to the project, so I have now two copied in the list and a global variable conflict error.  There is only one conflict, no one else. Daniel, I can't resolve this conflict.  Everytime I try the rogue VI disappears from the list to reappear a few seconds later, under dependencies.  Anyone know why or how to fix this?

It shows in the outbuildings, because you have VI (at least one) in your project that lists this Global individual than you.  Go to the dependencies, click on this world and ask callers to find.  He will point to one or more existing screws open those, the Global find and replace it with the Global correct that is in your project.  When you have completed all replacements, the overall in the outbuildings vanish and your conflict disappears.

  • Resolution of conflicts of LabVIEW

    Hello

I recently converted to labVIEW 2012, and I'm trying to clear up the conflicts in my project.  The problem that I am running is that when choosing a conflict that is not no options to remove the project item.  In addition, conflicts are dependencies and are not physically on the C drive. Any advice on how to proceed are appreciated.

    -Bob

Let me share a few screenshots:

The first of several conflicts is the conflict of Agilent 86100 Series.lvlib as shown in the Project Explorer window.  The path indicates that the file is located on the C: drive.  In fact, the file does not exist in the specified path.

Then using the dialog conflict Resovle I get this screenshot, which shows the conflict is the same file on the T: drive as well as the C: drive.  The file is indeed on the T: drive, but not on the C: drive.  The problem is that I have no options for the elimination of the reference to the C: drive in the project.  All options are not there or grayed out.

    Thanks for the help.

Sometimes it takes to solve "high conflict" (for lack of better term) in order to resolve other conflicts.  Your screenshot, it seems you can resolve some of the conflicts.  Once you get those resolved, maybe you can solve the others.

  • Regarding conflicts

    Hai

I did a project in my system, when I tried to copy the project and open the vi in another system where labview has been installed, im getting the message of conflict, then I tried to resolve the conflicts atlast vi opened without changes... (means, I made a correction while working in my system and recorded, everytime I open the project in my system the vi opens with the exact changes, but not in another system)...

Open the contradictory VI on your PC (where changes are shown) and then open properties VI and select the General category. and see the path of the VI in rental.

Now copy this perticular VI on the other PC to the appropriate folder (where changes are not shown) then open this VI copied first and then open your code.

Please note that if unsaved changes are both subVIs so you will have to follow this process for all the SubVIs concerned

However, please note that I have proposed is just a quick fix and not treated as a general process of conflict resolution. You must follow the standard guidelines for the registration of your projects.

  • Unable to solve conflicts by dialogue

    Hello

I am working on a project and cannot resolve the conflict. Recompliing does not help and every time I reopen the project I click on through some boxes of 20 VI to load.

    It's a little embarrassing...

Here is a screen of the dialog 'resolve project conflicts. "

All screws are delivered screws and some 8.2.1, Labview LabView some LabView 8.6.

I'm working on a Windows XP Professional computer using LabView 8.6 (update of 8.5).

    Thank you

    nightware

    Hi nightware,

the conflict occurs because in a single project, you created the 8.2.1 and some to 8.6 vi.

If you tried only mass compilation is not sufficient here, because in your project directory dependencies are still visible.

LabVIEW is trying to load a vi of the directory with a given path, but can not find it there. That's why you have two listed directory.

If the vi is only copied on the other computer it may happen, that where used slightly different directory names.

The only chance to make it work, it's that you have to go step by step solve the conflict. Go first through all the vi in need of update.

It can be very time consuming, but there is no other way to operate.

If you go through all the conflicts and resolve them, you can save the project. By next time open project conflicts should not exist anymore.

  • How to fix a conflict driver VIA? Via the Audio drivers and OHCI IEEE 1394 Host controller?

Because this motherboard (ASUS P5Q SE2), uses VIA VT1708S 8 - channel High-Definition Audio CODEC.

And my PCI Firewire card is also VIA - according to Device Manager. It is running Vista. If I connect my DV cam (which has a mini-port FW on it), then turn it on, the entrance FW in Device Manager says there is a problem. But if I disconnect the cam, then restart, the FW entrance goes back to normal. I've seen this prob before, where someone else had the same prob (but firewire was aboard).

I tried updating the FW driver through the Device Manager, but there isn't a newer driver available. I know that the FW card is fine. It was in my mobo previously (P5Q SE/R), which uses the Realtek ALC 1200, 8 - channel high definition Audio CODE, without going through. So, any ideas on how to resolve this conflict?

Looks like I found the prob / cause. ASUS drivers Via for the sound. The latest version from the ASUS site

I uninstalled them so I use the audio drivers by default Vista. The sound and the FW work. I plugged the cam DV again, made windows sound and it connected right away. Must be something in the audio drivers causing the conflict (such as an address / IRQ entry or something in the inf file).

  • Vista SP1 x 64 SMBus Controller on a P5W DH Deluxe resource conflict

I discovered there is a resource conflict issue reported through the Manager Windows (Vista SP1 x 64) devices.

The message is of e/s series 0400 - 041F used by: resources from the motherboard.

Anyone know how to resolve this conflict?

    Regards, Mac

P.S. I used a live CD of linux and I have no problem with the hardware, most all my drivers are up to date.

Returns the motherboard to Asus, under warranty. Other issues discovered, defective RAiD, USB port... So, to conclude, it was a hardware failure.

  • Record media of conflict on the same channel Center

    Hello

    I use windows vista ultimate.

In windows media center, I have planned 2 programs on the same channel, "koppen xl" and "slimste mens '.
A program is broadcast just after another on the same channel.
->, They are automatically on demand because I recorded the series.
A weird error tells me that there is a conflict of record between these 2, how is this possible?

Normally, a conflict would exist if I want to record 2 programs that are broadcast at the same time on different channels...
    But this is crazy.

Therefore, I am not able to resolve the conflict record!

    Screenshots:

There must be a bug in windows media center.
    Thank you in advance.

How do you solve the problem when you get "There is an IP address conflict"?

How can someone else have a computer with the same IP address?  Is this possible?  How do you get them?  Thank you

I recvd a phone call yesterday telling me I had a computer at risk with the help of the same IP address or ID in China.  I thought it was a hoax.  They said they came from Microsoft, but when I tried to recall today, there was a message stating that the Group was not available.  Then I get on my computer and get the label "there is an IP address conflict" and I panic, what happens if someone in China is using my computer?  How can I stop this?  I ran antivirus and anything analyses.    Help, please?

To resolve IP conflicts restart all computers, peripheral and the router at the same time.  Chances are it will fix

Microsoft (or any other reliable service)'ll never call you cold.  They have no idea if your computer is in danger, a virus or anything else.  Calls are cold almost always a scam.
