    Hello

Get VCSystem plateau is restarting error message. How can I stop this on my laptop? My laptop model number is

    VPCEB4AFX.

    Hi nagk98,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your laptop. The plateau of VCSystem is a process used by the VAIO Care program. To solve this problem is that you need to upgrade your VAIO Care program. You can uninstall and re install the program if VAIO update fails. You can check this link for more information on the VAIO update utility. I hope this helps.

    Thank you!

  • Printer Spooler service will not restart error 1068

I have XP and I cannot get my printer spooler service to restart, get error 1068, is there something I can do

I have XP and I cannot get my printer spooler service to restart, get error 1068, is there something I can do

This error is probably due to the fact that you had (have) a Lexmark (or Dell Lexmark brand) printer installed.  Some Lexmark printers install a service and make the print service spooler depend on the Lexmark service.  So, if something happens to the Lexmark service, the print spooler cannot start.

The first thing to do is to ensure that the print spooler dependencies are correct.  Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK) and type the following line and press ENTER.  Note that there is no space before the = but there is a space after it.

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

Now clean the printing system: However before cleaning things up, on general principles, you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

    AntiMailware MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

    Cleaning of printers

    A. Clean on print jobs pending

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

    net stop spooler
    del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
    net start spooler
    output

    B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.  Do not omit step 4.

  • service restart error 3

Service is .reported as having an unexpected error code. The services did not stop gracefully suggesting that he may have crashed. Service came out with code not equal to 0 or 1077.When I try to restart it says error code 3 can not find the path. The service is {R} Intel Matrix Storage Event Monitor. How I can restart?

    Hi Iggul167,

The first thing you want to try is the following. Press Ctrl + ESC, and then type "services.msc" in the search box. In the services window scroll down until you find the 'Intel Matrix Storage Event Monitor"and then right click and press"stop "button if already, it is not stopped and then do the same thing and click on 'start '.

Something to consider, however, if you are running a RAID, this service configuration is completely useless and should not be restarted, and can be removed. The program that launches the service should be in programs and features such as "Intel Matrix Storage Manager"

  • Audio service does not not after download of Creative, restarts, error 0 x 80070002, the system cannot find the file specified

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed updated Creative to my its Soundblaster card from Windows Update.  It lead me to a large download of Creative for its console related sound and SW, and things worked fine.  When I restarted this morning, there was a horrible loud hum while Windows was loading, and I made a hard stop.  When I rebooted, the buzz was gone, but the icon in the status bar indicates that the sound was off.  The sound message indicates that the audio service is not running.  I tried to restart the computer several times, but the results were the same.  I tried to restart the audio service of the Task Manager, but got an error message 0 x 80070002, the system cannot find the file specified.  Where should I go from here?

    Hi Jfklinger,

This problem occurs because some legacy applications use files or components that were developed prior to Windows Vista. The names of these audio components may be different in Windows Vista. If the calling application uses the hard-coded file names, the new files and components could not be found.

To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods to change the audio settings for a device.

Method 1: use the order Volume of Windows

To use the Volume of Windows command to change the audio settings for a device, follow these steps:

1.right - click on the speaker icon in the notification area, and then click devices recording or reading.
    2. double-click - click the device for which you want to set the parameters. For example, double-click on Microphone.
    3. click on the levels tab.
    4. move the cursor upwards or downwards to set the desired volume level, and then click OK.

    Method 2: use Control Panel

For control panel allows you to change the audio settings for a device, follow these steps:

    1. click on Start, click Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click sound.
    2. click on the tab playback or recording .
    3. double click the device for which you want to set the parameters. For example, double-click on Microphone.
    4. click on the levels tab.
    5. move the cursor upwards or downwards to set the desired volume level, and then click OK.

You may receive an error message when you run an application that uses the recording feature or audio playback in Windows Vista

  • Hostops.pl restart error

Using the vSphere CLI, try to restart a standalone ESXi host vSphere. Calling the script hostops.pl to restart and get an error. The argument that I use is:

    hostops.pl - line server 1.

    End of disconnect"

I confirm that this isn't my connection settings that I can put the host in and out of maintenance mode using hostops. When I run with the stop argument operation - I get the same error.

Any ideas? I do not know Perl, but I guess he's trying to report an error while running hostops, script buggy?

The script is really buggy, there are a few things to look at:

    (1) is your host already in maintenance mode?

    (2) even if there is an option to force , IRRC, VMware is not implemented the code for actually allow you to force a shutdown/restart

    (3) If you take a look through the options, there is an additional parameter that is required, called target_host, I think you used host instead which is incorrect.

    [vi-admin@scofield ~]$ /usr/lib/vmware-vcli/apps/host/hostops.pl --help

    Synopsis: /usr/lib/vmware-vcli/apps/host/hostops.pl OPTIONS

    Command-specific options:
       --cluster
The cluster in which to add the host
       --folder
The folder in which to add the host
       --force (default '0')
Flag to specify whether or not to force the addition of host even if this is being managed by other virtual center.
       --operation (required)
Operation to perform on target host:add_standalone, disconnect, enter_maintenance,exit_maintenance, reboot, shutdown, addhost, reconnect, removehost, moveintofolder, moveintocluster
       --port
The port number for the connection
       --quiet (default '1')
Flag to specify whether or not to provide progress messages as the virtual machines are suspended for some operations.
       --suspend (default '0')
Flag to specify whether or not to suspend the virtual machines
       --target_host (required)
          Target host
       --target_password
          Target host password
       --target_username
          Target host username

You can also take a look at my version of operation of the host: hostOperations.pl currently supports the subset of functionality, but it is pretty trivial to add the feature remains the only. I've just updated the script to allow it recharges, let me know if there are others that you need. I'll try to get the rest in a more later this week.

  • Windows 7 64 - Bit Windows Update, restart error

    Hello!

I have recently bought a new laptop and immediately started my Windows Update. At some point to complete the installation, I was required to restart, I did. When Windows is booting (before it shows me the logon screen), there was a message that says something like 'install updates x x (somefilename)', so I let him

But when I come back a little later, I saw a message that says that the updates have failed and it is changes in recovery, after which it restarts again. When I finally get into Windows, I checked update history and saw that there were only 2 updates failed (others have done), so I manually downloaded those updates that has installed then fine.

My question would be, so my laptop updated correctly? Should I believe what is said in the history of the update or should I study why my updates failed, and what were the changes came back?

I am fairly new to Windows 7, after using Windows XP for quite a long time. Any help is appreciated

If Windows Update (in Control Panel) now says that no other updates are required, everything is OK.

  • XP Remote Desktop can only connect to Vista once by restarting: error 0xc00002fd

I am running XP SP3 and by connecting to a computer running Windows Vista by using RDP 6.1 (also tried 7.0) with NLA.  I did the configuration of the registry for SINGLE sign-on (although it reproduced without these registry entries with new credentials).  The first logon works perfectly.  That I disconnect the Vista machine.  Then the second connection comes with "an authentication error has occurred (0xc00002fd)."  I can never get another connection to work.  I reboot XP and it works again, once.  The error seems to be a sort of encryption problem.  If CredSSP is cached something that does not work?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Before you do anything else, you need to update to win 8.1.  In itself, that can solve this problem.

    If this is not

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

Please run these tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

Since then, it is more likely to be a pilot run everything first.

  • Error NTLDR is missing - press ctrl alt del to restart

    Hello

I am extremely embarrassed to admit the following and ridiculously angry at myself for doing something completely stupid as I did, but's done it now... sigh...

I have NTLDR is missing - press ctrl alt del to restart error of nightmare.

This is how it happened. I need (ed) to reformat my hard drive, but first I was going to save everything. I save every so often, that now, I'm not near as often as I should! (last to the top was sigh 21/05/07). Well, not to think, instead of backup, I put the recovery cd in the drive and the screen came up saying: "loading ramdisk" then I got to the next screen basically asking if I wanted to restore out of the box or not. I chose the first step of the wizard who said out of the box. Then I clicked NEXT and realized that I had not backed up my files! So I cancelled out of the restore cd Wizard.

When I rebooted the computer, I got the error above nightmare.

I did research for many, many hours on how to repair or at least be able to start windows. I did the following:

1 creates a disk with ntldr, ntdetect.com, and boot.ini boot disk on it to restore, I all but I don't know if the dates say anything on those downloaded from another laptop

It did not work I still came upward with the same error or some other errors one pointing to hal\something. I don't know if it's my boot.ini that causes the problem or what. Oh, by the way, I went into the BIOS and made sure the computer started up to FDD first when you try the floppy option.

    [boot loader]
    timeout = 30
    default = multi (0) disk (0)

    Hello

It s a delicate and stupid situation.
The simplest solution would be the formatting of HARD drive and new reinstallation of the operating system.

But it seems you want to save all files available on the HARD disk.
If all goes well it s not too late

Hmmm. I think you have only one chance! You must remove the drive HARD internal of the laptop and try to connect it to the computer second external USB controller!
This part is not expensive and can be ordered from each book.
You should be able to get access to the HARD drive removed from the laptop...

After this procedure, the HARD drive must be formatted as NTFS, and any partition must be deleted!
Then you should try to start from the windows installation procedure or the restore CD.

By the way; I study a little bit in the Microsoft database and found these two documents:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/318728
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314057

Maybe some advice described in these documents may be useful.

    Good luck

  • Error blue screen of Windows 8

Hello, I have a few problems with Windows... First I hade error 0cx000000f, which I was unable to start windows, and which I have fixed formatting my computer and reinstall windows (in fact, I installed a downloadable version of windows which I activated with my personal product key). It seemed made for the first time, but then I restarted computer and I got another blue screen, the "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME"... I tried hard to solve this problem, but the onl thing I can once again formatted my pc and reinstall Windows 8, but when I restart error comes back. When the error affects PC I can not even boot Windows 8 DVD... Please someone help me...

Hey! It seems that I fixed that! Now, I'm writing about it so if somone had the same problem can try to repair it this way. It seems that I was right to think that BIOS and operating system are not compatible...

To fix the error, I followed these steps:

    1. I went to the BIOS and secure boot disabled to enable legacy support... (F10 > System Configuration > start... Options)

    2. I used a bootable, Gparted software, which actually start by pressing F9, then DVD internal, I formatted all my volumes of HARD drive, then I deleted all the volumes to have just a left volume...

    3. I used the DVD of Windows 8.1 to run "Recovery" and then used prompt to convert my GPT HARD drive - recovery > Troubleshoot > advanced > guest > diskpart (then write the commands following..) > select 'your own number volume' volume > clean > convert GPT... (the mistake that I did before, it's that I tried to install win 8 which can be installed on a HDD MBR but needs a HDD GPT to will work perfectly, and I was caught in the MBR format before somehow)

    4. I installed Windows 8.1 (from DVD) and the drivers in my PC and it seems now work very well, even if I am still unable to use start secure even if UEFI is installed, but that's okay as long as it...

At least the error was the uncompatibility between the operating system (win 8) and the wrong format of drive (MBR) that I used to install Windows 8, system that was obviously too old for the version of BIOS and the BIOS (version 25) last...
