Restart required allways

Hi all

Since the last update, whenever I click or run HP Support Assistant, I see this message:

I restart, but the message appears once again and again and again...

Any clue?

Thank you!

Carlo

Hi Carloxp,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP laptop and having the HP Support Assistant, problems or errors. Here is a link to uninstall the HP Support Assistant software. Then, you can try installing updates with Windows and restart your laptop. If you have antivirus protection, it might stop the update, you can try to disable it. You can reinstall it here.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

  • WebLogic 10.0MP1 mBean managed Server restart required?

Is there somewhere an mBean that is true with indicator (or similar) when a change is made in the console (or through WLST) which requires a restart? I have searched the tree via WLST in my field and can't seem to find anything that gives me these data. I'm thinking there must be something since when an attribute such as "Turn the logfile at startup" is changed, restart is required and is stated as such in the WLS console.

Basically, what I'm trying to do is include in my script, a way to test if a reboot is required for all servers that are managed in the field, once the script 'edit domain' is executed. If reboot is required, the script will perform restart.

Appreciate the help and advice, if it's there.

    Thank you

    Hello.

The 'need to restart the server' is handful of wlst like this: http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/config_scripting/config_WLS.html#wp1029452

"In addition: http://download-llnw.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs92/config_scripting/reference.html#wp1153965 but I still don ' t know if an MBean is changed with this attribute, in any case, it might be sufficient for you the script I think.

    Kind regards.

  • Installation of a dual boot for XP on a Vista - XP installation computer forget the SATA drive after restart required #1

    Hello

I'm trying to set up a dual-boot XPpro on my Vista machine.  I found the instructions detailed at various locations.  I prepared a score of 30G on my SATA drive and booted from my XPpro and XPpro (SP2) retail drives.  The score is quite small because I have only use for some applications.

I have the following problem and I wonder if anyone can help.  The disk and partition is by my SP2 disc, but it's ok that BONE is not used on any other machine.

I can choose the new partition as the location for the new installation of XP.

Installation gets to the point where the first reboot is required, then at startup, I'm stuck on the option 'press any key to boot from the CD-ROM.  I assume that the reader is not detected.  If I try to start from scratch, I get the warning that the new partition already has an operating system on it, but I can reformat and move forward, then arrive at the startup problem re.

There is no XP drivers for my Board, but I can not install them because they are on CD and the only option to load the specific drivers in the first part of install required has a diskette is in the drive, and of course I don't have a floppy drive.

I then use the Startup Repair in Vista I can't move to the stage where XP is installed in fact correctly.

    Any help very welcome!

    Hello

I made a disc of slipstream with nLite as suggested, my sata drivers included but still could not circumvent this problem.  Installation kept insisting that they had to come from A:

Rather than taking the box to bits I read from the link posted by Michael Murphy, once again and found the answer of Taydius on 250/1 posts.

    http://www.syschat.com/dual-boot-Vista-XP-Vista-already-26-1946.html

Problem solved by installing EasyBCD in Vista, it points to the new partition with the inaccessible XP and reboot and selection, installation on board as usual.

    Dual boot now works fine.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello

When you assign appstacks computer, I am always asked to restart the computer immediately after log on.

When you assign the same appstack users, the message is not displayed.

Any clue on why this is happening?

If a machine assignment has been made and set previously and then a restart shall set another home based machine. It is the expected behavior. If you use the machine based accessories, please start after an attachment is deleted. This can be achieved in several ways, including using bat AV files, more on this in a message later this coming week

  • Keyboard does not work after stopping - restarting required

I shut down my PC overnight. In the morning, when I turn on, the mouse works fine but I can't enter my password using the keyboard. When I press the Caps Lock key, the indicator does not glow. After I use the mouse to make a reboot, the keyboard works fine again. Why the keyboard not work after a stop?

    It happened once or always?

If it were a single boot problem, there is nothing to fear, sometimes a USB port is not so quick to wakeup, mayb try to change the USB port when the keyboard is connected.

Upgrade to 8 FF (of 3.6) seem to go smoothly, as did restart on Acer desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium. But I get "reboot needed to complete the installation of FF" whenever I try to start and seq. tried uninstalling FF using the uninstall from the control panel and uninstall in my Mozilla folder - get the same message "Restart required". Tried to reinstall FF - same message. In short, totally unusable FF - and I'm starting to like Google Chrome.

  • Could not resolve the error 0x8DDD0007 - reboot required

I get this error when I try to run MS Update on three computers.  It offers two solutions - reboot the machine, makes no difference - remove the rebootrequired registry key, it is not present anyway.

A machine, that I had just completely reinstalled XP Pro.  I managed to go back to Windows Update which works fine, but I get this error if I try MS Update.  There is no sign of restart required on the taskbar, or it displays the updates to install at shutdown.

I tried to update the two servers that are running Server 2003, both also now suffer the same problem, and both give the same results.  I failed to fall back to Windows Update on these machines, perhaps because MS Update works very well for a long time.  The last time I ran MS Update on these machines, about 3 months, it worked perfectly.

MS Update still works on other XP machines without any problems, including some that have been cleaned and reinstalled with the same disc, although some earlier.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Mike,

I just saw your answer now that I do not have the alert.  I've tried this before, no luck.  That's how the story would be empty.

However, I seem to have solved the problem!  I found responsible for the update of MS ActiveX control in Add-ons in Internet Explorer.  It will not erase in the Add - ons.  Disable results to attempt to reinstall the information bar, but it does not appear, then you do a right click and let settle.  There is also an icon of warning saying that it is disabled.  So I found the location of the actual dll - c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll and renamed.  There are also the reactivation in IE Add-ons.  Now only run MS update, it will be successfully re - install the dll (you should always do a right click on the InfoBar to allow of).  However, the same rebooting problem.  The file that he installed was a date that is identical to that which I have renamed, so I wasn't surprised that the problem was still there.  Don't forget this machine has been newly installed, and no doubt the dll newly downloaded, when the problem started.  But in the process of work, so I followed the location of the file on my PC, which works very well.  I noticed the date on the dll was different, actually it is newer, even if the installation is older, so I copied the dll from my machine to the problem machine.  MS update now works, I installed all the updates that have appeared since the first installation of the machine.

The date on the file that is downloaded is now the date on the file on my machine, this allowed to cure the problem is 10/16/08, 08/06/09.  It seems that the site is download an older version of the dll on systems accessing newly updated on day of Ms.

I will now propose systems of 2003 with the same problem.

Thanks, Mike to your care through this.

  • VIB not updated after the restart - ESX6

    Hello

I have a strange problem while updating to ESXi600-201511401-BG on 1 of 3 guests. It seems that the fix is installed correctly, but it disappears on the next reboot.

The commands I tried to help include, but none of them seems to work:

    esxcli software update /vmfs/volumes/path/Update/ESXi600-201511001.zip esx-base - d - n vib

    and

    Profile of esxcli update d software /vmfs/volumes/path/Update /ESXi600 - 201511001.zip - p ESXi - 6.0.0 - 20151104001-standard

    The result is:

Message: The update completed successfully, but the system must be restarted for the changes to be effective.

    Restart required: true

    VIBs installed: VMware_bootbank_esx - base_6.0.0 - 1.22.3247720

    VIBs removed: VMware_bootbank_esx - base_6.0.0 - 1.20.3073146

VIB list after installation check seems to be updated, but after the restart, he returned to the old version.

All guests were built fresh at about the same time using the same media however, this server has a problem. By comparing each server the only difference in VIBs is VMware_bootbank_esx-base. Everything else is the same...

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Derek

VMware technical support identified the error "MSI - X not supported by the device" in boot.gz and recommended to update firmware or try to reinstall. As the host was running the same firmware as the hosts who have been updated and not happy with the way recommended reconstruction of the host, I did some research in error.

A bit of googling suggests that the error relates to USB interrupts, which lead me to realize that it was the only server currently connected to a 16 ATEN KVM (cables VGA/USB) port. After unplugging the KVM, I was able to apply successfully the update...

If anyone else has this problem and has devices connected to USB ports, I would disconnect them and try the upgrade again.

  • OpenWapp migration to a new device?

Is it possible to go from the OpenWapp with all contacts and messages from my my flame Keon?

I learned by watching his source code, OpenWapp seems to use IndexedDB for storage of conversations.

Using backup_restore_profile.sh, I finally found a way, and I wrote a little HOWTO.

Migration of the Keon (1.3) to a flame (2.0) seems to work. I write "seems" because I see the messages migrated fine, but I can't connect to WhatsApp for now: OpenWapp registration process has been broken for a few days. Perhaps WhatsApp changed its API.

Note that simply return the Keon on the flame settings did not work and in fact crashed the device (restart required).

  • How long does take to load the Apple Watch?

Before you buy the Apple Watch, I would like to know how long it takes to load completely.

    See: http://www.apple.com/watch/battery.html

    Charge time

    About 1.5 hours to 80%

    About 2.5 hours to 100%

Testing conducted by Apple in March 2015 using pre-production Apple Watch and software associated with an iPhone using the pre-production software. Load times are from 0% to 80% and 0% to 100% using the MagSafe inductive charger included. Charging time varies depending on environmental factors; actual results will differ.

You can restart the watch earlier after the charge, if the battery is not fully charged.  Restart requires at least 10% reserve battery.
