restarting my iphone 4S inself

My iphone 4 s. retarts itself

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • MacBook Pro keeps restarting after iPhone updated 9.3.5

Given that I didn't have at least a 50% load, I connected my iPhone 6 s to my MacBook Pro (10.11.6) updated the phone to v. 9.3.5. The phone updated fine, but now my Mac keeps on rebooting over and over again. The display shows the Apple logo and progress bar, but there are thin horizontal red lines across the entire screen. When the progress bar is full, the gray screen runs for about 10 seconds and then restarts, and it does the same thing again. I have absolutely no idea what to do. Can anyone help?

    Hello robbob116,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message that after upgrading your iPhone 6s to iOS 9.3.5 via iTunes on your MacBook Pro, your MacBook Pro now repeatedly restarts. I know how it is important for your MacBook Pro start correctly for you. The first step I would recommend would be to start up your Mac in Mode without failure. • It doesn't matter what problem will occur if I restart my iPhone 5s?

I have no problem now. Coz it's my new phone (3 months old). Will there be a problem happens if I reboot my iPhone?  I did several times twice by pressing the "home" button and the sleep/wake button at the same time. But listen it for 10 seconds, my iPhone screen becomes black and rest 3 or 4 dry and after that symbol of Apple. Is this really? Please answer. Thank you

Force restart a phone is a bit like manually turn off your computer or laptop: it of not ideal, but when it froze it is things to do.

I wouldn't worry on this subject, unless you find that you often have to do. For example, if your device is 3 months old and you have to force restart it every week or so you can isolate the problem more further by asking you if a specific application was used each time. If you don't find any specific application to be the culprit, you can try to backup your device (see How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support), then restore its factory using iTunes settings (see using iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory - Apple Support). This should get rid of any bugs that make part of the operating system.

  • iPhone 6s more 'Phone noise cancelling' setting Grayed Out

I have a 6 more than 128 GB iPhone running iOS 10.0.2. I can't activate the 'Phone noise cancelling' setting in settings > general > accessibility > telephone noise cancelling because it is grayed out. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

I've tried hard restart my iPhone (Home + Power button) without success. Any help is very appreciated! Thank you.

    Hey there, Stephen Bond,.

Thank you for using communities of support from Apple! I see from your post that your iPhone more 6s on iOS 10.0.2 does not work as expected because the cancellation of noise from phone toggle is grayed out. I'll be happy to help you.

First check to see if the hearing aid Mode is enabled in settings > general > accessibility > hearing aids. If this option is enabled, then telephone noise cancelling will be grayed out as you describe. If this isn't the case and that the option is grayed out, please continue.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - please backup your iPhone to ensure that your personal information is safe.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - this process will completely erase the iPhone to allow a new copy of the iOS to install. The first time, select "set up as a new iPhone. Once your iPhone is back to the home screen, check the setting of the new. If everything works as it should, use the "restore from backup" link in the section «Get help» If it is not, under the same article, "Contact Apple Support".

  • After my wife 5 iphone update ios 10.0.2, ringtone sounds is more when a call comes in.  What should I do?

After the update my wife 5 iPhone and my iPhone 6 ios 10.0.2, we met problems.  His phone will not ring when a call comes in, and my phone does not sound an alert when a message arrives.

    Hi MikeDallos,

I understand that after your wife 5 iPhone update and your iPhone 6 the new iOS, you both know questions in regards the phone doesn't ring do not or may not alert you to the alert notifications when you receive a message. I use my iPhone all the time and I count on the possibility of having my phone alert me for incoming calls and messages. We'll see what we can do.

The first thing I want you to do is to restart the two iPhones. Make sure that your wife's iPhone has the ring/silent switch on mute.

  • iPhone battery percentage 6 stuck

Hello, I have an iphone 6 purchased from Apple about the release two years ago, never had any problems until this Friday, 10 March 16 when I noticed my battery percentage was is no longer draining after moderate use. He would stay at 100 percent every day and then turns off randomly. I have iOS 10.0.2, have tried to reset, power on/off, restore factory... nothing works! Is someone able to please shed some light on why this might be the case? Google tells me that there was a similar problem earlier this year when those who have no zone defined as auto has encountered a similar problem with the battery percentage being stuck and not up-to-date (i.e. no reflective battery drains with use). I went to settings and noticed that my time zone was not set as automatic. Does anyone else have this same problem and what is the reference for this?

I'm surprised that factory reset did not fix this problem... help...

    Hello.

First, plug in your iPhone, let the screen off and do nothing for a long period of time. Leave it plugged in all night while you sleep is perfect for that.

Then, restart your iPhone by pressing and maintaining the sleep/wake and home buttons.

You can also try following the suggestions of battery life. Go to settings > farm > find 'Suggestions of battery life.

In addition, it is preferable to follow the Apple recommendations given in this article http://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/
