There is no record to hide, they will still be on your home screen.

You can back up apps into folders, simply pressing app until it wiggles and then move it with another application and a folder will be created.

  • Restore IOS

I tried to update the IOS on a router 2501. At the beginning of the upgrade, I got a warning that the file should be deleted. After the upgrade has been in effect for a period of time, the error message appeared: «...» "Error: required memory exceeds available memory;..." Software forced crash 0x111E... »

This error messages are displayed in a continuous loop. Even when I stopped the router and turn it back on, I get the messages above contunually.

Have any suggestions on how to restore IOS?

The poster stated what is the address of the tftp server, but I don't see anything that indicates what is the address of the 2500.

If they are on the same subnet (and especially if they are connected back to back, as suggested) then I think it should work.

If they are not on the same subnet, and then another command is necessary to make this work. Configure the default ip gateway

Otherwise mode rxboot the router does not have any possibility to get on the local subnet, since, as has been pointed out in rxboot mode the router acts as a host to IP and not as a router.

  • Can I restore iOS iOS 10 7 backup?

I'm updating the phone to my mother from iOS7 to iOS10.  During the update, I got and error and the phone only displays the message "Connect to iTunes".  When I connect to iTunes it tells me that the device must be updated or restored.  The update always fails.  If I do the restoration, and he is restored to iOS 10 I will be able to restore the backup iOS7 on the device?

Yes, you can restore older backups to the latest version. Note that for iOS 10, you need iTunes 12.5.1 or later version. And the version of iTunes requires Windows 7 or later, or Mac OS 10.8.5 or later.

    Thank you

    Hello paulfrompalm harbor,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that you were unable to restore from your backup to iTunes after the update to iOS 10. Backups to store some more valuable information in your iPhone. I know how it is important to revisit this content. I'm happy to help you.

Please, try the following steps and test the issue after each step.

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Connect your device to your computer with a cable USB, then Select your device in iTunes. If your device does not appear in iTunes, you must correct this problem until you can continue. Or, if you have forgotten your password or your device is off, know what to do.
    3. Turn off your computer and your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Then turn on again them.
    4. If you use a Mac, skip this step. If you use a Windows PC and iTunes will not respond or never ends your backup, you may need to to update, edit, disable or uninstall your security software.

If your iTunes backup could not be completed or you cannot restore from a backup

If you continue to experience problems, follow the remaining steps in the link above.

    Have a wonderful day!

  • IPhone cannot be restored (IOS 10 update)

I downloaded the update of 10 new IOS on my Iphone 6s. Now, there is an Itunes logo on my screen. I have already connected my phone with Itunes but I can't restore...

    Help, please

Like many other capfreak, your device is in recovery mode.

You do backup your device before upgrading?

If so, you can restore the device by plugging it into a PC / Mac and installing the previous iOS version you had before (possibly 9.3.5 If you yourself have updated iOS).

  • Restore iOS sauvegardΘ

I have a complete backup of encrypted to an iPhone5 via iTunes when the device was on iOS 9.3.2.

I'll be able to install this backup on an iPhone 6 (or 7) running 9.3.3 or even 10 (when that comes out)? Thus, the backup just a backup of data and parameters or is limited by the version of the OS that my 'old' backup does not install on a device running a newer operating system?

This is the backup of the data and settings. The iOS is not part of the backup. You can restore the backup of a unit on an older iOS to a device that has an equal or more recent iOS, but you cannot restore the backup of a unit with a latest iOS on a device with an older iOS. In other words, you can restore the backup of the iPhone 5 is with iOS 9.3.2 to a device with iOS 9.3.2 or 9.3.3 iOS or if you wait until the public version of iOS 10.

    Hope that explains it.

  • will not restore iOS iPhone 6 9.2.1

I was scroll Twitter when I saw a post stating that if I put my iPhone time to January 1, 1970 and reset it using the home and power buttons, the apple logo would be displayed as the original apple logo, multicolored display 'Think differently' under him. So I followed the instructions, because I had nothing to do (at this point, my phone was working fine and there are no problems). I waited the original logo, but I got a normal white with the black screen. Start-up took much longer than normal, it is normally after a minute, at most, but this time he has been slain in the logo of apple for about 5 minutes. Then, to my astonishment, reverse color and it was a white screen with an apple logo black, something that a lot of articles on the claim of safari is the "iPhone white screen of death". Alternate display between the black and white screen screen every 2 minutes about, but never start. I put in DFU mode and connected to iTunes so that I can update it and not lose all the data on my phone. However, I clicked on update even if I believe that my iOS was already in 9.2.1. Everything worked fine during the update, so I thought it would work, but he only returned to the alternate screens. I decided to try the restaurant of DFU mode by iTunes. He checked the restore with apple and got through a status bar. He's still in the black screen with the white apple logo, and another State Bar appeared under him. It was at this point for an hour and a half, but the status bar is not at all filled, and the phone disconnected from iTunes because my phone 'timed out' even if I have not disconnected its cord. I think that the restore process has restarted itself several times because the empty status bar disappear about every 20 minutes or less and then reappears after about a minute. I read that the more data on your device, more required to restore full and I got about 50 GB stored on my 64 GB iPhone 6, but as I said the State Bar has never quite. What should I do?

This has been discussed here several times. Some have reported that a DFU mode restore to fix it. Some had to take their phone to the genius bar so that it sets.

There are certain pieces of evidence indicating that you can be able to successfully restore using DFU mode pending until your time zone passes midnight from GMT, and when you have restored it. For example, the time zone, in that I am GMT-5. If I completely borked my phone right now by pulling this stunt, it is possible that if I let it sit for at least 5 hours, when the clock has enough time to roll after midnight GMT, I'm able to get successfully working with a DFU restore again after that.

  • Battery drains faster than normal after restoring iOS on iPhone 9.2 6 Plus.

Hello everyone. Yesterday, I restored my iPhone with iOS 9.2 6 Plus using the latest version of iTunes. In every 1 minutes 4.7% of battery drains while watching a video offline.

I have reset all settings, updated all my apps from the App Store and the battery drains fast continues. Can anyone fix or wait for the next update?

    Backup of your device

Factory restore, set up as NEW.  Registration to iCloud will get your contacts, calendars, reminders and notes (other services, such as Gmail, Outlook, yahoo would be probably similar).

Is there something in the system restore which is to drain your battery.

Restore the minimum of your applications and test.  If all else fails, you can always restore back to the top again.

Just updated to ios 9.2 (from 8 something) and my ipod touch is stuck at 'update of the iCloud parameters.  I can not restore from iTunes because I have to disable "Find my iPod touch" first of all, and I can't do as the iPod is blocked with the message to update.  Forcing a stop down does not work that for some reason, I am unable to turn off my iPod touch manually.  I tried to turn off my wifi to see if that stops the iPod touch, but he always keeps on the message to iCloud.  Do I just wait until the battery sinks so that it forces a reboot?

Place your iOS device into Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

  • major bug in iOS 10.0.2.

I just updated my iPhone with iOS 10.0.2 + 6 last night.

    Problem 1:

Since keep freeze then my texts.  In the middle of sending a new or reply to a text, keyboard hangs just straight up.  The screen freezes and I have to press the home button to get out of the text. Once I'm back in, my only half typed original text is no longer there and I start over again.  Then it crashes again.

This happens about 80% of the time!  Very frustrating!

    Problem 2:

Since my recent update, when I go to a form of browser and the beginning of filling in the details, the browser/keyboard crashes.

The screen freezes and I have to press the home button to get out of the text. Once I'm back in, my only half typed original text is no longer there and I start over again.  Then it crashes again.

This happens about 90% of the time!  Very frustrating!

    Problem 3:

Since my recent update, when I go to one of my applications that have a form to fill in content or answer a question (i.e. Maven), the application block to halfway through typing me

I just press the home button to exit the text. Once I'm back in, my only half typed original text is no longer there and I start over again.  Then it crashes again.

This happens about 100% of the time!  Very frustrating!

These are not bugs in 10.0.2. They are questions that are specific to your device.

    Solve problems.

    Reset.

    Reset all settings

    Restore iOS and your backup.

Restore iOS and configured as a new device.

Sides are one of those who will fix it. If this is not the case, make an appointment at the genius bar.

After the update I have the following problems (I tried Googling this way)

    * Imessage app continues to break down, reducing the movement is OFF

    * The phone is slow

    * Battery is discharged faster

    * Tactile 3D does NOT work, be it

    * Restarted two times

    Help.

Post edited by: SNUFF84 - test SMS was sent, phone ceased late development and stopped crashing!

There is no 3D on the iPhone contact 6 or 6 more.

Try restarting. If this does not help, plug it into your computer and restore your backup and iOS. If not fixed, restore iOS again and set up as a new phone.

  • 10 iOS backup

I've had 10 beta iOS now twice.  But since then, I had to get my phone replaced once and then I got this sent phone repair.  Every time when I went for my phone backup and restore, it wouldn't let me restore iOS 10, I had to restore to the last backup iOS 9 I've had.  All beta 10 backups that I could choose from are grayed out and could not choose.  It is common or is there a way I can back up my phone with iOS 10 so I can keep my changes and updates?...

You cannot use a later version of the backup, then you have on the iPhone.

  • Links in the Facebook crash and Safari pages keep reloading / crashing even with iOS 9.3.2

Ive got ios 9.3.2 and links in Facebook keep crashing again. And every time I try to navigate in safari or chrome pages keep reloading. Sometimes only couple of times, but other times it charging until the phone freezes and puts an end to all applications and sent it to me to the home screen. Shurting, sometimes even to the bottom of the Web page. There are some days where was at its worst, but it stopped after the phone automatically just reset (like holding home and power at the same time button). But it doesn't work when I do it myself. At the moment it is slightly backward. Especially with the Facebook links crash. But my safari page was actually not to recharge for some reason any while I was typing this question on my iPhone. It is very annoying because I can't navigate on my phone. Actually, it gets to the point where any other webpage just keep reloading until phone crashes.

    I'm using an iPhone 6 +.

I do not know how to solve and I thaught it was a 9.3 iOS problem. I use 9.3.2

It was not a problem in the 9.3, there is a problem with your phone. That's why 9.3.2 has not set. As a first step, remove the Facebook application, reboot your phone in now the HOME and SLEEP buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, and reinstall the FaceBook application by downloading it with the App Store application on the phone.

For Safari, open Safari, tap the HOME button, wait a second, double - press the HOME button and sliding upward on the Safari screen image. Then go to settings/Safari and tap clear history and data from the Web site. Reboot again.

If the problem persists after these steps, restore iOS through iTunes and set the phone like New. Do not restore the backup, because the problem is most likely in the data to be backed up.
