Restore Messages

I looked for well over an hour for something I know is very simple. I don't know that I've forgotten the answer.

I use RH8.

I accidentally chose the do not show this message again option linked to a message that I need to see.

I'm trying to restore the message.

I have not found information in help, using Google and using the forum.

Can someone tell me how to do what, in my view, is a simple task? In other words, how to restore the warning messages that have been deleted?

Hey Cal

Okay, found.

Close RoboHelp HTML as a first step.

Open the registry editor.

Glance for this section:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2363748780-1291634622-3356602919-1000\Software\Adobe\RoboHelp\8.00\Com Lun

The real key is:

Do not notify the project

You might be able to see that easily by pressing F3, by pasting into the search field and allowing the registry editor find that key for you.

In fact, when you click this checkbox "don't show" you set this key value to 1. You may be able to simply remove the key. Close the registry editor and restart RoboHelp. But I think I would start by changing the value to 0 first. Close Regedit and restart RoboHelp.

Keep us posted on your results!

See you soon... Rick

I have a usecase as below-

JMS. Q1 (nonxa)-[proxy service - post to a jms. Q2 (xa) - triggers an error]

A proxy service receives the request from the queue of non - xa (Q1),
then the proxy service to publish this message to another queue (Q2) through the active XA business service (I use the factory connections such as XA)
then I get an error in the message stream.

What I need is, I want to restore the message that I published "Q2" as soon as I get an error in mail flow.

Can someone please help me to know if this is possible by the use of the range option, etc... ?

    Concerning
    Sesha

    Configure these:
1 check the Transaction option even for the answer in the configuration of the Proxy Service.
2 use QoS as exactly once in postback action which calls the business JMS service.
    3. using the factory of XA connections for connection between service and target queue JMS businsss
4 ensure that the error System Error Handler. To achieve this, you need to make sure that the flow does not any action after the action on error to raise meet, you have set up in the stream of messages.

Once you set up as above:
1 message is deleted from the source queue as soon as Proxy OSB retrieves the message (since this is not enabled for XA)
2 message will be published to the queue JMS target but not valid until the message flow is completed. It cannot restore in case there is an error after the action to publish.
    3. If the function of a condition a recovery error action is executed (or another error occurs in the stream) message will be restored from the target queue where the error reached the system-level error handler. This message will not present in the source queue and the target queue.

I want to reset my iPhone but I want to try to save all my messages. Is this possible? If they are stored in the cloud?

    Hi Saintbrenards,

I understand that you do not want to reset your iPhone, but you do not want to save your messages. Someone on the forum mentioned that f you have a Mac running Yosemite or higher and you have activated the SMS transfer SMS and iMessages will automatically be in the Messages on your Mac application. Your messages are stored in iCloud and iTunes backups, but there are two drawbacks:

    • If your iPhone is lost or dies you will be able to retrieve messages on a new reset iPhone iPhone/bought
    • Only current SMS and iMessages are backed up. Manual removal of messages on your iPhone will remove them the backup off.

I hope I helped answer your question today and if you have any other questions - please do not hesitate to ask!

  • iPhone messages do not display the coordinates on the lockscreen

Ive had this problem fo has for a long time now and not been able to find a solution.

When I receive a message of some people, the phone does not display the contact information for the message, I just get the number. Its a slightly annoying bug.

Ive tried the backup phone, wiping and then restore from the backup, but the problem still the problem occurs.

I tried wiping the phone and from scratch, synchronization with icloud for all my contact information, etc.

He worked and solved the problem, except that now I don't have one of my old text messages (what I really want to keep as there's several years of conversations evidence it.)

I found a free software called iBackupbot which allows you to restore a backup file messages and copy them to another and you can then restore your phone to this new modified backup.

It worked. I now have my restored messages (except the attachments are missing, but I can live with that).

However, I now have a new problem, when I receive a new message that they are appearing in my list of message completely out of use and not at the top of the list of messages. There seems to be no logic to it, they just pop up as if they were a few months old even if theyre unread.

I'd really like to find a solution to this problem. I have an Iphone 6 and all the latest software update.

    Thank you

  • My iPod Nano has a white screen with messages I've ever seen

    Hello

I'm having a problem connecting my iPod Nano (5th generation 8 GB) to my Macbook Pro (mid-2009 with El Capitan OS). I tried to restore my iPod nano with iTunes. Restore failed, and my iPod Nano screen has changed to a white screen with a message "do not disconnect". I couldn't eject the device, so I had to unplug the iPod with this message that appears. When I disconnected the iPod a black check mark appears on the white screen with a message "Ok to disconnect". The only way to get this message go away is to lock the screen of the iPod nano, and then unlock it. Then I press and hold the Center button and menu button simultaneously for 8 seconds and the Apple logo appears. Then shortly after, a "Use iTunes to restore" message on the iPod nano. I reconnect the iPod on my Mac and the white screen with a message 'do not disconnect' returns to the top. iTunes does not recognize the iPod. I don't know what else I can do to get my Mac to recognize the device and add songs using iTunes. IPod Nano was working fine a few hours ago, and my Macbook recognized until I tried to restore it in iTunes. It's very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Here are pictures of the messages from my iPod nano's display.

IPod Nano was working fine a few hours ago, and my Macbook recognized until I tried to restore it in iTunes.

What was the (initial) reason, you had to do this restoration (before this problem occurred)?

Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode.

Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

Launch iTunes and connect the iPod to the Mac.  If iTunes picks it up, he may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  Tell iTunes to do a restore.  After the full restoration , see if the iPod works normally.

I am running Yosemite and Mail 8.2. Somehow, I lost my entire mailbox. I went to Time Machine to do a restore to my Inbox. I have 6700 + emails. I select them all and click on restore. The computer does its thing and then displays a message saying 6700 + restored messages. Yet, nothing shows up in my Mail box. I tried with different numbers of email even only selected messages. No luck. While they hide somewhere?

Thanks in advance for the help. I feel very lost without my e-mails.

They are not restored directly to the Inbox. They will be in a restored file slot on my Mac. If this section is not expanded, place the cursor on it and choose display. Look for the restored mailbox. You can select the messages here and move them where you need.

  • Restore not working - the option to restore on my machine does not work. I've highlighted the dates. Does not work in safe mode

    Original title: restoration works not

The weight restoration on my machine does not work. I've highlighted the dates but I get... impossible to restore messages. I tried switching off my virus checker (Norton) but with the same result.

Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.
For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:
Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...
It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:
According to what you use for malware protection, you may need to disable the product temporarily, do the system restore and then turn the products light up again when the system restore is complete.
Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore.

Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore.

    It works for some configurations.

  • Windows Mail - restore/recovery process

Certainly appreciate your help. Yesterday my windows mail crashed; I'm in a no-nwtworked stand-alone environment running Windows Mail Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 OS v6.

Is there a way to recover/restore messages and folders?

This new problem has several solutions.

    ·        Do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this does not resolve the problem, try the following:

To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps (you need an Installation of Vista disc for it - not a diisk recovery):

    1. put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

    2. press a key when you are prompted.

    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.

    4. click on repair your computer.

    5. click on the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.

    6. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.

    7. type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    ·        bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    ·        c:

    ·        Boot CD

    ·        BCD attrib s h - r

    ·        Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    ·        Bootrec /RebuildBcd

If you do not have the disc or it does not work, try EasyBCE at http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 and see which allows to solve the ptoblem.

If this does not work, try http://www.nirmaltv.com/2008/05/09/modify-boot-manager-in-vista-with-vistabootpro/ and see if you can fix the problem with this free software.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
