Restore my system completely!

OK, I have a bunch of stuff slowing my computer so how can I restore my system to be, like the day, I got it? my computer may be a possibly older year

Hello

You mean reinstall the OS completely? If you have Vista DVD you can do however be
of course, to completely backup your data off the drive and you need to reinstall your programs. If you
have no Vista disks, you can buy them in your machine to cheap system. If you don't like
on existing programs then you can do a complete new installation - just select the format options
which erases the entire disc (This erases all data as well).

  • System Restore: restore the system on windows v6 is completely unpredictible. I have complained__about this to Microsoft with no response.

Several times, even after doing a system recovery, which restores you computer Setup, I would try sometimes to try restoring the system Windows Vista. How in the name of carnations, "system Restore" fail to restore to a chosen restore point and indicates that the system restore has been
unsucessfull even after making a full recovery of the system?   I asked Microsoft through some corresponce on this problem.  No response from them.
I also believe that when I bought the computer, the windows (OS) v6 was not complete, is why Microsoft had to develop the SP1 and SP2 as a Patch.
Windows 7 may have solved that problem, however. I think that it is totally unprofessional and unethical, especially when you have to pay somewhere between $100-$200 for Windows 7. Also, don't waste your time talking to a microsoft technician, because many of these people are in the Philippines or the India and less you do know. In addition they will charge your card credit $49-59 $ by incident, and the service they provide to solve your problem is not competent. Then you must dispute the charge (s) with your credit card company in order to remove.

As for me, my next computer will be a GICA (Apple) or Macbook Pro which has simplified superior of the operating system and
has no problems that any (OS) has with Microsoft. In the meantime, because of the way microsoft conducts its activities until they come out with a "patch".
as an update to windows or what ever:

[1] do not use Windows system restore if you have a problem with your system and must go back to an earlier time.
[2] I would suggest that you restart your computer, and when rebooting press and hold F8 until see you highllighted with the cursor options. Move the slider down to "restore your compare to last good configuration ' and press ENTER. (You can also enter the BIOS and do the same thing) and then wait for your computer to restart.
If your like me, because of this problem I reinstall my full operating system, but still once attention - system restore may not work.
[3] do not try and reinstall the system restore .exe - because once again because this will not guarantee that system restore will work.

  • After restoring image system, content of the disc do not match

I feel like every time I think I have this darn computer fixed, another problem appears...

Okay, so after much headache, I was able to restore the Boot Camp from a virtual hard disk image... however... what OSX sees the contents of the drive BOOTCAMP and what BOOTCAMP sees self are completely different.

According to OSX, here is the content:

    Kenz$ ~: cd/Volumes/BOOTCAMP /.

    Kenz$ ~: ls

    $Recycle.Bin / program Files / users /.

    BOOTSECT. BAK program files (x 86) / Windows /.

    Start / ProgramData / WindowsImageBackup.

    DRIVERS / RHDSetup.log* bootmgr *.

    Documents and Settings / recovery / hiberfil.sys*

    Intel / Recovery.txt* pagefile.sys*

    PerfLogs / System Volume Information.

What the reader was like before restoring the system's yet OSX still think it's what's on the disc...

Seen on Windows, for comparison, here is the content:

    Directory of C:\

    06/10/2015 AppleBcInstaller.log 58 14:45

    the 4 528 09:08 app_updater.log 19/04/2016

In my view, that is a problem OSX, as I need to reset the memory of the BOOTCAMP volume or something.

I disassembled that re-mounted disk, reset the NVRAM/PRAM memory disabilities Tuxera NTFS... but it shows again that content.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? While I could leave it alone since the OSX and Windows and start properly, I would create an image of WinClone of Boot Camp, and in this situation, it would probably be to create a picture of the wrong thing, then I would like to than OSX to see the disc properly. The determining factor here is I would like to take advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10, but I want to be able to roll back to where I was in the worst case scenario.

On the side of OS X, you disassemble and reassemble the Bootcamp partition? Tuxera can complicate and lead to corruption.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC: restore the system and drivers

Hello. A few days ago I faced a bad experience with my laptop HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC. System crashed. At any time, I tried to turn it on, an error message appears and the system was blocked. The message was: FILE: \BOOT\BCD status 0xc000000f, asking for the disc of Windows 7 system running. But the system disk did not run at all. I checked the situation and found the hard drive with 6 partitions instead of 2. I found a named partition BOOT (X which was a replica of C:.)  When I tried to restore the system with the recovery disc, something has obtained control of the recovery disc, so that C: might not be formatted; nor was X:. Also, I tried to cancel the file in X: but disc was protected and does not allow changes. If only I could get my uninstalled hard drive and all partitions have been cleaned. I got my hard drive cleaned perfectly, but my recovery disk can be installed correctly. So, the system has not yet restored. My question is: what should I do to get my laptop with the system restore? any ideas?

I just got my back office of the repair shop where the initial vista (I think it's the original version) had to be relocated because of various infections.  I was a good girl and had already backed up everything on an external drive.  I went to the restoration, makes restoration advanced and this bitch said I had to change the user ID to match the backup account.  Unfortunately, your valuable system few dislikes "------" more so I can not match user accounts.  Without it I can't get my files to restore.  And if this question sounds familiar, it should.  Poor Mary Ann tried to ask the same question and you people told her that she had to repost a new thread instead of just do us a favor and answer.  I am furious because I don't have how to find the thread of Mary Ann and his problem is exactly the same as mine.

  • Is there a way to restore the system to factory setting

    Original title: Reinstalling windows

I would like to restore or reinstall the system on my computer because my computer appears to be infected with the virus and there are a lot of problem with the system as impossible to install net framework. I have never create any point before restoration, and the recovery of the manufacturing company (Acer) tool does not work for reasons unknown. I would like to know if there is a way to restore the system to factory setting. And also, if I have the windows 7 key product that comes with this computer (I think that its probably an OEM product key), what I have to buy a new key of product if I reinstall windows 7 on this computer?

    Thank you for your reply,

However, I tried with the Acer eRecovery Management and there are two problems:

    • I open Acer eRecovery than Management with System Manager. When I click on restore or create Factory default disc, it says please wait and there is an infinite loading.
    • Also, when I use Alt + F10 to open, it says please complete operating system configuration process.

Scores of recovery and/or access to them can get damaged.

As the partition recovery is photographed on the hard drive by Acer in the manufacture of your machine, we have nothing to do with changing/fixing this recovery process once there are problems with it.

As you have a preinstalled OEM license (Acer, Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they need to provide for a fee.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.

But Acer does not normally keep recovery disks for you to buy for older operating systems, so it comes down to borrow the exact same edition of Windows 7 DVD to a friend, etc. and by using the product key on the COA sticker on your machine.

As far as I know Satellite P300/P300D comes with Vista and not with Win7 for Win7 installation drive recovery HARD work not at all. You can install Vista, maybe, but certainly not Win7.

Because of this, I assume that you have installed your own version of Win7. Can you confirm this?

Is that HARD drive recovery facility (F8 > fix my computer) works with the installation of recovery only (out of the box).
