Restore the Image on the screen by default start from Lenovo

Just got my thinkpad yoga repaired at a repair shop, and I noticed that the image of the bios screen and windows screen image splasp has been changed.

Is it possible to restore the images the factory ones?

Fixed by restoring the bios default settings.

I guess you wanted to ask how to solve the problem. If then all in Safe Mode you can use system restore to set up Windows to a point when the problem did not exist.

  • I need to restore the security permissions default to all files on drive c of a Windows XP workstation

I changed some security permissions on all of the C: drive, which is my boot drive system on a network under Windows XP Pro SP3 (32 bit) desktop.  I had shared the drive several years ago, and I believe that the problems were built from the other. I had to rebuild my server and choose a different domain name and connected workstations to the domain. I would like to restore default settings for the C: drive of the workstation (not shared?, permissions and security on all files of Windows and the default user restored to the default values.)

Anyone know where I can find a list of the rights and permissions for each of the folders and subfolders on the WIndows system drive? Or is there an automated routine that will restore the default permission?

    Hi ArtMinds,

Your Windows XP question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the IT Pro TechNet public. Please ask your question in the Forums Pro Windows XP IT on Technet. You can follow the link to your question:

    Hello

You could try doing a right click on your COMPUTER C:\ drive and selecting the SECURITY tab.

Click ADVANCED in the bottom and take ownership of the whole partition\drive with ALL the permissions...

Are you the owner... It will not go back to the default of origin, but hopefully everything should work

  • Satellite Pro A60, keeps returning to start towards the top of the screen and wont start

My A60 PC refuses to boot.

It was working fine when a blue screen came with random lines streaming to the bottom of the screen, the style of the matrix, and then he stopped. When I try to turn it on, turns on the screen "in touch with tomorrow", but the images and the text are... kind of distorted pixelated, and I know it's not a flaw with the monitor.
A second or two later, the screen comes up asking me if I want to start... ' Safe mode ' "Safe Mode with network" 'know last Configuration... '. "etc. No matter which option to choose, the screen just white out for a few seconds, then returns to the distorted "in touch with tomorrow" screen and everything starts all over again.

I tried to remove the battery, to no avail... I thought that always worked with electronics!
I have all the important files saved on a USB key, so solutions that involve losing the data very well.
    Thank you!

    Hello

How do you know that it is not defect with monitor? Have you tried testing with external monitor?

Anyway, if you can't boot your laptop select Safe mode the best solution for me is to make the clean OS install. Your important files are backed up and you don't have to be worried about losing important information.

  • Satellite M50 does not start, go back to the screen with different start modes

My Satellite M50-130 does not start correctly. When you turn it on, it goes to a black DOS screen, saying: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "It offers me different start modes: Safe Mode, with networking and command prompt. Last good Configuration known; and start Windows normally.

I tried all the 5 options, gets the commissioning insofar as the Toshiba screen, but then with all the options, it returns to the initial screen offering the 5 modes of starting. Same thing happens when laptop works again.

The only recent software change, I've done was an update to Norton AntiVirus/Internet Security and I suspect that Norton is at least part of my problem, see history below. I know it's the Toshiba support site, but I tried Norton so many times without success, I gave up. Plus, I'm no expert at all, so I can't be sure that it is really the source of all my sorrows. All advice welcome!

The performance of my laptop has deteriorated seriously in the last two months. She is extremely slow, and cleaning of malware and unwanted General does not help. It began right after that I renewed the license of Norton last year and upgraded to the 2007 version. The worst downturns are always connected to direct upcoming Norton upgrade programs. I disabled the live upgrade, but programs always come to the top, and I can't stop them, a popup tells me that they are protected.

Wireless internet is also very capricious, even if another computer on the same network works fine.
During the last week, I had to relax a little internet security settings (from "moderate to severe" to "low to medium") because after an other update of Norton AntiVirus, I couldn't access to interactive Web sites.
It is perhaps a coincidence because Norton AntiVirus comes with updates at least twice a week - but what else could be the problem?

My apologies for the long rant, I am grateful for all the advice!
    Thank you
    I have.

    Hello

I think the only way to make your system works correctly again is to restore with the cdrom of onboard catering. Simply manage to save your data from your hard drive (the best way would be to put your machine's HARD drive in a USB - HDD enclosure and copy important data on another computer), then wipe the system completely off you hdd.

After that, the system must run again...

    Welcome them

  • I took a sim card to an iPhone and place in another.  What should I do next to the phone with the sim card replaced?  The screen and apps are from the old phone...

Hi, my wife 4S iPhone died and I I replaced his Sim Card with my old s 4 card as I have updated.  She is still decide to upgrade, but needs a phone so replace the sim card seemed like a good thing to do.  So now his phone has all my contacts, applications etc on it and none of his own.  What is the next step to have his stuff on his phone?  Is this to connect to its MacBook or reset the phone and connect.

    Thank you.

Has a backup via iTunes or iCloud of his old phone before he died? If so, what follows has instructions. Transfer the contents of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support

Note that since the phone is already implemented (i.e., no news, the first step will be to follow the instructions below to the bottom of this link.

To transfer a backup on a device, you have already configured, you need to clear the device: tap Settings > General > reset > erase all content and settings. This erases all the data that is currently on your device. After you erased, your device will restart and you will see the screen of 'Hello '. Now, you can transfer a backup of your device.

  • Setting the screen to get started on the applications rather than the Office of startup screen

I have a HP Pavilion 23 and run Windows 8. Recently my pc has been commissioning on the desktop instead of starting up on the screen to start applications. How can I configure my pc so that when I turn on it goes to the start of applications screen and not desktop screen?

    Denver1003, welcome to the forum.

You can go into control panel / taskbar and Navigation / Navigation / start screen / uncheck the first element ' when I connect or close all applications on a screen, go to desktop instead of the start.»  When it is disabled, the computer should start to the start of Metro (Apps) screen.

  • I see a "_" between the BIOS and the screens of multiple starts

I have an Intel system (DH67CL / i5 - 2500 k) runs a triple-boot (don't ask) with HP W-7, Bus of Vista and W - 7 Pro 64-bit.  Every now and then I see a '_' for a long period of time I see the BIOS screen, but before I see the selection of multiboot screen.  Yesterday, the "_" displayed for about a minute.  I really thought that my system was toast, but then the multiboot screen finally showed.

And when I say '_' it's a totally black screen with the exception of a single blinking "_" showing at the top left of the screen.

I made a mistake in the installation of three BONES, so I was forced to go back and reinstall Vista after that others have been loaded.  Then, I used EasyBCD to correct the boot order.

My theory is that W - 7 and Vista have rather different start Chargers and the last of them, loaded in a multiboot environment is one that will be used on a daily basis.  Since I messed up and loaded Vista changed, the Vista boot loader is used.  And given that Vista is not a large BONE, it has some problems, which is my strangeness "_".

My theory is valid?  Do you think I can eliminate my long display "_" simply reinstall one of the W-7 operating system and using EasyBCD to set the boot order?

Feel free to direct me to a Microsoft Web page, where the boot process is explained.

PS past diagnoses of memory RAM.  My diet is grossly overpowered, this power is not a problem.

I see that on a number of computers.  In my opinion, that you get this when the system is an analysis of all of the devices until Windows starts to load.  For Vista and Windows 7 both use the BCD for starting, I doubt if it's a problem, but you can still boot from a Windows 7 installation disc or repair the disk and do a repair.  If there is a problem starting, that should fix it.

    Good luck.
